This is a long article since it is a comparative review. If you would prefer a brief article to the point, please choose the option and move to the next thread. I was cruising (Ottawa and Montreal) strip bars for years before switching to escorts last fall (and now for a short while I have switched back to strip bars to see my good old friends still working as dancers). I thought it may be useful if I start a thread on the strip bars in the National Capital Region to share my views and how I think these bars rank in comparison. It is important to note that the review and ranking are based on my personal experience and views and may vary widely for individuals and must not in any way reflect badly on any bar or individuals in the bar reviewed. Also if a bar is missing from my review it simply means my experience with that bar is not wide enough or recent enough to comment. Please feel free to share your views or add your comments to this thread that may confirm or be contrary to mine. Barbarella’s Diamonds: This was my most favourite bar. I met the most beautiful and classy girls in this bar. They have younger dancers in a classy environment. It has become an even better environment to have fun and relax with friendly young classy and beautiful girls. Used to be a bar with good mileage, however, recently the mileage has dropped because of the new bylaw closing the private rooms but dancers still try to give as much mileage as they possibly can. My most favourite dancer in this bar : Mary Jane – A beautiful classy dancer studying in the college and used to dance there for several years. Soft fair skin and big absolutely beautiful gorgeous blue eyes with very friendly attitude. Regretfully she stopped dancing there last year as she graduated from college. Another favourite (Suzy tall slim brunette) also stopped dancing recently as she went back to school. Present favourites: Kitty (beautiful brunette), Divine (beautiful blonde) and a new girl called Sin (incredible soft skin, I hope I spelled her name right) and Missy (pretty brunette). Pigale: Located in Gatineau, it is a classy bar. I haven’t been there for a long time, however, the mileage used to be low (dancers had to keep their underwear even for $20 dances - not so anymore), the mileage has improved in recent year. Some more mature dancers (with possibly not real breasts) and a day time waitress with attitudes. Good place to have a beer or wine and watch the stage after a hard day, as many dancers, some very good looking dancers will perform one after the other. Barefax: Located in Downtown Ottawa it has a large number of girls (shared with Pigale) in the evenings only. Not the friendliest bar, but have a large number of good looking girls. The mileage used to be low (dancers had to keep their underwear even for $20 dances. Not so anymore), the mileage has improved recent year. Best to have a beer or wine and watch the stage. The open champaign rooms are upstairs and the air is not fresh within the bars (no air circulation). Playmate Club: Used to be my favourite bar. They had many dancers with best mileage in town. As a result of new bylaw, many dancers left and nowadays they have relatively fewer dancers with lower (than previously) mileage. It is a friendly environment as many regular customers chat with girls and the staff. The environment has improved since they have new staff. My most favourite dancer in this bar: Nadia – A beautiful brunette born in Canada who lives in Montreal with roots from Slovenia. Very friendly girl with soft fair skin. Regretfully she stopped dancing couple of years ago as she graduated from university and started working in her field. My present favourites: Suzy (a blonde) and Jessica (a brunette with glasses) both look younger than their age and Tamika who is a very cute small very young looking doll with great attitude and friendly dark brunette (spanish) Mia and small French Jessica with cute accent who swiches bars all the time. Nu Den : Very large bar with plenty of evening girls. The stage is so far up that it is not possible to see the girls on the stage. Not a place to sit and watch the girls. Average mileage in the champaign room. The day time bouncer is walking all the time and preventing people from having fun and girls making money. My most favourite dancer in this bar – Jessica a very cute tall and slim short hair brunette with soft fair skin and very friendly attitude and Vlasta (a very sexy dancer of dutch origin). Regretfully Jessica has stopped dancing as she found another job last year. But I think Valaska is still there. My long time favorite Porshia (aka Foxy at CC) also dances at NuDen. She is a beautiful natural blonde doll who I met 7 years ago at Cabaret Canada when she was only 18. A real doll and friendly lady/ Club 77 : I haven’t been to this bar for years and I am not sure if they are still open. Used to be a great bar offering $10 dancers many years ago packed with customers from Ottawa and Gatineau. They changed to $20 dances (although no contact $10 and $15 is available) and lost most of their customers. They have a big sign in the Champaign rooms saying NO KISSING OF BREASTS and most dancers obey that. Not a high mileage bar and too far to drive from Ottawa. My most favourite dancer in this bar – Virginie – A beautiful brunette (half Hungarian) travelling from Montreal used to dance there many years ago and regretfully has stopped dancing many years ago. Cabaret Taboo: Used to be my favourite bar with high mileage. It has quiet down recently and some staff with attitudes. The place used to be packed with customers day and night with many young beautiful girls. Not so anymore. My most favourite dancer in this bar – Bailey – A beautiful brunette (Neve Compbell looker like at 21) with very friendly attitude. I think she has stopped dancing. My present favourite is Jennifer who just started college and is now dancing part time there. Cabaret le Pink: A large bar with plenty of late evening girls. They are closed daytime and real action starts only are after 9 or even 10:00 pm. A good place to sit and enjoy the stage. The mileage is relatively low in the Champaign rooms.
