I thought long and hard about posting something here but decided I needed a forum outside of places like FB and Twitter where everything just turns into white noise. By now, everyone is aware of the story of Amanda Todd, the young girl in Vancouver who committed suicide to escape bullying. And here in Ottawa, we just observed the one year anniversary (what a wretched word for such a sombre occasion) of Jamie Hubley's death, a young boy who suffered such relentless bullying that he too chose to take his own life. There are countless more stories and they seem to pile up with every passing day. And the callous and the cowardly crawl out of the woodwork, mocking these children even in death. I don't wish to rehash what caused these children such pain that death was the only solace they could find, and I am not a religious person by any stretch of the imagination, but I think most of us should offer a prayer to who or whatever you believe in for these lost souls and for the families left behind. Thanks for indulging me.

They could actually be independent yet work out of a spa. I've known a couple who offered incalls by renting space at an mp and paying the management their standard room fee. I kind of assume if the individual is posting ads for herself, that is still a level of independence, versus the business posting ads for their spa. It still gives you the client the opportunity to deal directly with the MA. I would assume she would be up front about her incall arrangements knowing she isn't offering a private location?

This is a free site for most of us on here. There are banners from the agencies and indies, the paid advertisers are marked in red, and a little bit of homework goes a long way.... ;)

I think the important thing is that the SP feels comfortable and respected as a professional. If you happen to be a great lover, that's a bonus.

I would donate some money to charity of my choice and then take one nice trip to somewhere I've always wanted to go with someone special. Depending on if there was any money left, I'd buy some new furniture, or more clothes and definitely a 60" flat screen for my finished basement.

I'm with Christy on donating some to an animal shelter. Volunteered in one for a few years and it was gut wrenching but also it was amazing as well when seeing an abused dogs eyes when actually receiving love and affection. I love my mom, and cannot imagine childhood without her. But I love that I have a father too, and even though we are very different people with little common interests, I am ever grateful of his presence, wisdom, and teachings throughout my life. I'm sorry if this point is a repeat (I tried to read as much of the other comments, but there are a lot!), but think of it from the child's perspective. They are successful single parents out there, but why intentionally subject a child (or in the case of twins or more) to that?
