I believe both Ironman and all-in have some very good and valid points in their posts. Both Cerb and other reviews boards have their advantages and down falls. But I think what the OP was trying to say is that even though "you" are posting anonymously on a review board, people should still show a little respect and maturity and not degrade and dehumanize women/people in a disgusting hurtful way. It's just wrong. I think there is a way to communicate your (negative) experience without putting down, trashing and bashing the ladies. I think by "honest", he means comments like: - She is not the spinner type or a perfect 10 but pretty enough... - She doesn't offer the best BJ in town but it was still ok - Her rate is too expensive. She was nice but not for that price. Next! - etc. I guess a little "negativity" will prove that the reviewer is objective and honest in his review/reco.

I do have to agree that the shoutbox seems to be dominated by ads... and since I do post in the AD section, I don't really see the point of adding to the shoutbox since that isn't what it was intended for... as one member previously stated in this thread, it seems "desperate".... To the ladies who "spam" there all day: please take note of the majority of replies to this thread from gentleman; they say they look in the ads section when "shopping" for a companion... I would second the motion to disallow ads in shoutbox....otherwise having the ad section at all seems rather redundant.

I've noticed in ottawa they have cerb socials where cerb members both SP's and Hobbiests get together off the clock for dinner and drinks. I'd like to do one here in thunder bay:D I have friends who own restaurants so I can ask around to see if we can get an after-hours party so that we don't have to worry about "the public". A social around halloween sounds perfect so that we'll all be in costume so if anyone is shy they can hide behind their mask. Truthfully, I don't really believe there are many norms in sexuality-related topics because every person is different and prefer different things on even a momentary or situational basis (there is always exceptions to every generalization, though!) I have actually answered this question before, so I will just paraphrase what I have written previously: Speaking from my own standpoint, I have fairly small breasts ("B"s) and they are very sensitive. I have always been fond of a light touch in general (kissing, caressing, licking, etc) but especially on my breasts. I had one ex-boyfriend when I was younger who bit my nipples and I almost sent him flying across the room trying to get him off me. I have found, though, that too much nipple/breast play can cause it to go from pleasurable to painful if the man is not careful, even if he is using a light touch or soft licking/kissing. It should be noted that the pic threads seem to be enjoying a burst of popularity at the moment; they seem to have proliferated somewhat over the last few months. Well I see there is no one here representing the other board's point of view, so I might as well be the first. Allow me to state my case. I used to be a big fan of this board, and I still use it to check schedules and the odd discussion. However, I recently have migrated over to the other board and use it as my main source of information. As a client who pays upwards of $250 an hour plus tip, I really appreciate being able to read honest reviews both good and bad. Yes there are a lot of children on that board who are keyboard warriors, but most of us are smart enough to not take them seriously. I do not condone derogatory comments, but I do support fair reviews. I think it is actually doing the SP world a disservice by having only positive recommendations. Some ladies work really hard to maintain their shape, some go above and beyond to provide amazing service, and some go to great lengths to maintain their appearance. To say that every SP is wonderful is unfair to both clients and SPs. Not every client is wonderful, and not every SP is wonderful. I have met some wonderful ladies through here, and I have also met some not so wonderful ladies through here. Even though there have been good recommendations for them, some experiences were less than stellar. I don't agree with putting them on the same level as the ones who completely went above and beyond to make the experience amazing. If everyone is wonderful, then no one is wonderful. So really I don't think it is too much to ask to be able to know exactly what I am getting. As a working class citizen, I really don't have the funds to find out by trial and error. Some of us have specific preference, and pay big bucks to get it because that is our fantasy. So yes sometimes we are looking for nice firm breasts, or a toned bum and flat stomach. If the lady's ad is giving the impression that this is the case, then it is reasonable for us to expect that. I think I have the right to know if a provider is misrepresenting her appearance, or using outdated photos. I say again, I do not agree with some of the childish postings on the other board, and I have recently been a victim of such. However, I rely on that board a lot more when doing my research. As a client, I have been using Cerb less and less because I personally don't find the recommendations as reliable. Personally, I tend to save my money for the SPs who are well recommended on that board. How can one possibly rely on recommendations when they are ALL positive? I am ready to admit that the other board is very rude and is not the best environment. But I must also say that this board is all the way on the other end of the spectrum, where really no one can say anything bad at all. Would be nice if there was a happy medium.

What more could a newbie expect from his first MA experience. I think the word surreal sums up the experience very well. First, no argument, there are some bad providers out there, just as there are some bad clients. That said, if you have a bad encounter, there are already review boards out there to post a review of that encounter. No need for CERB to become another review board Second, recommendations on CERB are written for ladies who provide great or good encounters. If a lady doesn't provide a good encounter, she isn't going to be recommended, well at least I wouldn't recommend her. I think it comes down to honesty. If I go to a fancy restaurant and order the 90$ kobe steak touted by their chef as being the culinary experience of a lifetime and I am served an overcooked minute steak, you can bet a scathing review on Yelp is forthcoming. If I go to a lowkey diner and order the 8$ late night chef's special and get served the same steak, it might get a positive review. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, we all have our preferences and that shouldnt be judged. But sadly, I've yet to read an ad stating "come enjoy my triple chin and play with my overlapping fat rolls while my toothless gums bring you to extacy and my facial acne squirts its delicious pus into your mouth as you lick my jaw." Someone may be into that out there, but if you portray yourself as a runway model in your ad and thats what the client ends up getting for his hard earned money, the reviews should reflect that.

Please allow me to add my voice to the chorus. Since joining CERB, I have met some of the most beautiful and amazing women in all my many years of hobbying. Market trading - Seriously, I got into it when I was 10, my parents ignored my advice and lost a lot of money. They then gave me the password to their account and told me I was now in charge. I believe that so many reasons abound as to why men choose paid company rather than a GF, wife, what have you, but I look at asshats who post shit like Curious describes this way: They are paying us and the reality is that these guys fall into the "NEED TO PAY FOR IT" category. I have gone on some of the erb sites you mention, and I hate the crap they post. I weep for the ladies who they are referring to, because no matter how thick your skin is, it always hurts to hear that type of negative talk. There is no need for it. I am glad there are no erb sites for the maritimes. I am so glad that cerb exists.

Not foolproof, but if the poster is a longer term member, has numerous posts, and has posted information on other providers that corroborates your own experience with them, then you ought to give the comments made by that member some weight. It is not unusual to see positive comments provided with low post count members (1 to 5 posts, for example). I place far less credibility on the comments offered by 'low' post count members. It is easy for an sp's close friend to become a member and post one or two positive remarks for the girl, to help her out. Call me a cynic, but it does happen. Personal preference will play a part. I may be looking for a kinky provider, but a reliable member who has vanilla interests may not enjoy or value the service in the same way as I would. Conceivably, we could provide different perspectives or comments on the same provider. If you're curious and interested in a provider, and if the reviews are mixed, then maybe you should pay her a visit and see for yourself. Lastly, and most important; read between the lines. If someone is on the 'no fly' list, it is because a member has either been offered or experienced highly risky and unprotected sex services. Keep Safe, Have Fun, and Happy Pooning! :)

Just thought you guys might like an update. I was at the SCC when the case was heard. What an experience! We are very hopeful. The court asked some really good questions, seemed like they were sympathetic to the decrim side. They made it clear they didn't want to hear about the Nordic model. At one point, one judge got pissed and tried to get the abolitionist lawyer to admit that by putting forth the Nordic model as an alternative, that they really wanted to criminalize everything. We should hear a decision in 6 months to a year. Legal minds tell me that this is so the government has time to come up with some new solutions if/when the laws are struck down for good.

In Ottawa, i could see a policy like this being in place because it's very conservative white collar governmental town, tattoos aren't really part of the everyday accepted culture or accepted in the work place. The style of dress, cars, clothing and subculture is very "beige", very safe and no one likes to stand out. In Windsor/Detroit, we are blue collar auto workers. We are the home of Motown and everyone knows Detroit Rock city. We as people and our culture are quite flamboyant and creative, as reflected in our music, speech and dress. Tattoos are culturally part of the norm there, its quite common to have numerous tattoos before your twenties, whereas here its not very common to be tatooed at all, and if you are they are in places that are easily hidden. I've never seen facial tattoos here, and hand tattoos are rare ( i have a hand tattoo myself).I think it has to with what is culturally accepted as the "norm" or "beautiful". No one ever had an issue with my tattoo's back home or in places like Toronto or Niagara Falls, it was only when i arrived in Ottawa that some potential clients had an issue with them. It's just what you are used to i guess. I figure, if my tattoo's are a bother to a potential client , then we probably wont get along anyways, i'm wayyyy to openminded and free spirited to get along with "cookie cutters" who judge people on their differences and outside appearance,and i don't mesh well with people who think everyone should be in a nice little box and all look the same. Life is art, and its should be expressed. What is the point of having thoughts and creativity if we cannot express it? Maybe I'm just a product of my environment, but give me colour, light, noise and freedom of expression anyday!!!!
