I have been wanting to participate on this discussion but time has not been on my side as well as I wanted to read some of the other members opinions I am one of the people that shouts the most.. if not the Most and YES 90% of the time is to advertise... Unlike some of you think or state is not out of desperation.., as I keep myself busy..., is not secret to anyone... is simply the fastest way to let my clients know where I am.. I've often found that statement confusing too. Especially when someone is asking about an appointment then asks if I'm a clock watcher. ?? My rates are based on time and I can break them down into 15 minute chunks. So just book for the amount of time you want. We'll spend it all. And if we don't and you leave early, I'll be happy to rebate you to the price of the actual session length. I've done it many times. I don't watch the clock, but since my rates are based on time, I do expect to be paid for the time I spend. Just as you'd want to get the time you paid for. Sometimes things go a little over and sometimes a little under. Most SPs realize this, and there is some wiggle room built in. But we know the difference between a session that simply flowed over a bit and someone who's trying to take advantage. Just like we know that, if we get you in, grab your money and rush you out the door, you probably won't repeat. Have an honest heart, and trust your SP to too. We'll give you a reasonable benefit of the doubt.

Me, I choose to post silly shit there from time to time. Like tonight I posted about my very bad hair colouring job. Yes I miss those good old days too in the shout out box, it is now become strictly advertising from my perspective. Does it make me rush out and go see that MA/SP that is on there all day long....no, but I do quickly glance read them, but prefer to go right to the actual sections of advertising for MA's and SP's. I think he was saying that members should go and visit sp profiles to view their albums rather than posting more pics in more picture threads. I don't think he was saying sp photos should be in the picture threads :) Maybe there is a little used subforum that all the picture threads (all 21 I see lol), can be moved to and new ones, (ack! more????!!!) can go there instead. Why is it so hard to look at your own body in an objective way? Most people always apply a certain standard when their look in the mirror. This standard is influenced by the media. But I don't think this fact can fully explain our behavior. Even without the media telling us to loose weight or be ultra-slim, we would still create standards for ourselves. We would use the mental image of a woman or man we once saw at the beach and turn it into our comparison standard. I guess it's a person's way of expressing him- or herself. It's in our nature to be ambitious. And it's our unconscious way of improving our self, because we hardly ever choose an unwanted and unhealthy lifestyle as our goal. It's an ongoing spiral, though. People have plastic surgery, get a body part fixed, build up muscle mass, or loose body fat... but only very few people can see and accept their improved selves afterwards. It's not right to blame everything on the media. Individuals usually want to belong to a crowd of other people. It looks like nature has given us the burden of constantly being unsatisfied as a way to improve ourselves.

I think it will only take 3 to keep helen, and truthfully the only way GM is going to progress in the game is if Aaryn had put up say Amanda or McC as a pawn, and she, spencer, and Elissa all voted him out and kept Helen. voting out helen means for sure they won't have the numbers to get out McCranda. it also means when the Jury HGs compete to come back to the game, now their return isn't going to impact the game much. if Amanda was the pawn and voted out, and competed to return, there is little chance she would win any competition to get back into the house, so she'd be out and someone with an axe to grind about Andy, Aaryn, and McC alone would be in. That would be an interesting game, and far too late now to make that happen. If they do vote out Spencer, there is a really good chance he will win the back-in-the-game comp because he shows he is actually pretty good at the challenges. He might be pissed, but only at Elissa and GM, and Helen as well, and if he gets HOH, or even just voting, is likely to vote

A tip is a great way to reward great service... and ensure that future service will be great as well! One of my biggest pet peeves in life is a person that treats "service providers" whether in food service, transportation, delivery or what we have here, as persons beneath them. It makes my skin crawl when Joe Average treats a waitress like dirt, or Jane Average gives a quarter on a taxi tip.... ARRRGHHH. I know that tips generally linger - and when you see a bartender that you have treated well or a waitress that has been well tipped, the likelihood is that they will deal with you faster, more efficiently and the gratuities might even flow both ways.
