Ok so here is how third person got involved. I called the SP for outcall to my upscale hotel in the city. When the knock came at the door I looked through the view hole and could see the girl. Lets be honest, things happen at times in our second life that we lead (clients and companions) and sometimes things are out of our reach. I can say I have had a few clients over the years that have disappeared for when our date was to happen. Days later I heard from them with an explanation of what happened. I feel the need to start this thread, due to the lack of respect and attention to following simple instructions lately. Ive worded this in reference to no one, just a generalization to a few things. You contact me, we go through screening and agree on the date and time. You are told you will be contacted a few days prior with details to confirm. 3 days prior you are emailed with detailed instructions with a number and a date and time frame to call and confirm on. Scenarios as follows: Scenario A) You don't call within time frame - Encounter is cancelled and time is available Scenario B) You email letting me know you cant call within that time and we agree on another time in which you don't call - Same result as above - encounter cancelled. Scenario C) You call and confirm and encounter goes ahead as planned Scenario D) You email the morning of to ask if we are still on, yet I never heard from you - What do you think the answer to this question is? Scenario E) You leave a voice mail with we emailed and Im calling no name, number or anything else in the message - Chances are the encounter will be cancelled as its very rude to call a number back and say Who's this? And Ive asked you to call me, for discretion I would rather not return the call unless I have been given the ok to do so. We have a system in place that works for our own personal business, if you dont wish to follow instructions, dont waste our time. I value your time and respect your wishes on privacy, discretion and everything else. If you value mine, why does one feel its okay to not follow the simple instructions that I have given. I can be flexible with my confirmation policy when you let me know in advance. I ask you to call as that is how I confirm my dates, I wont email or text you any details so you have to call (my confirmation email is very clear on this), at this point if you don't like this policy it is your time to say that you are declining our date, I wont get mad as I would prefer your honesty over wasting my time and that of someone else who would have enjoyed the visit, but due to the games someone else has played they were unable to visit. When I ask you to call when your parking - I MEAN it, dont call from the lobby if I have asked you not too(considering discretion is SO important, why does the fact that your calling from in front of the hotel staff and repeating the suite number aloud not strike you as indiscreet?) Just because im not a revolving door, does not mean I want attention drawn to myself at any time. I enjoy the places I stay and wish to keep it that way. I also enjoy the company that I keep and NEVER want to jeopardize anyones privacy ever. You provide me your number and ask me not to call, I follow your instructions so how hard is it to show the same respect to mine. For an industry where discretion is key, I am just astounded as to why it is expected from me, but not returned by you.

An sp can legally refuse to engage in sexual activity with anyone they choose, regardless of the reasons. The question of whether an sp can legally refuse to see clients of a specific ethnicity also applies to whether they can legally refuse to see clients of certain cultures, nationalities, religion, age, gender, size, hygiene, manners, ability to follow instructions, reputation, previous contact... Every reason that's ever been discussed on CERB. You name it! They are legally justified. The Canadian Human Rights Act prohibits the "denial of service" based upon "race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, disability...". Therefore if you only look at the Canadian Human Rights Act, you might think an sp cannot refuse to provide service to a client based upon race. However it's not that simple. Regardless of what the Canadian Human Rights Act says, neither the state nor a client can compel an sp to have sex with someone they don't want to have sex with. Why? Because compelling/forcing someone to engage in sexual activity conflicts with the sexual assault provisions of the Criminal Code of Canada. When there's a conflict between the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Criminal Code of Canada, the Criminal Code takes precedence. The Criminal Code protects the person who doesn't "consent" or want to engage in sexual activity, regardless of what their reasons are for not consenting. Even if their reasons for not consenting conflict with the Canadian Human Rights Act, they are protected by the Criminal Code. The harm caused by legally forcing someone to have sex against their will is greater than the harm caused by denying sex to a prospective client. The Criminal Code of Canada provisions for sexual assault require that "consent" be given when engaging in sexual activity. Sexual activity without "consent",regardless of why consent is withheld, is sexual assault. The Criminal Code also states that "Consent" "requires the voluntary agreement... to engage in the sexual activity in question." If an sp felt legally "obliged", "compelled" or "forced" to engage in sexual activity with someone because of the Canadian Human Rights Act they would be engaging in sexual activity under "duress". In other words, there would be no "voluntary agreement... to engage in the sexual activity." This is the very definition of sexual assault. This is also a good example of why "No means no." Not, "No means no... but only if you have a good reason." There's a fundamental principle at work here. Neither the state nor another individual can compel us to do something with our bodies that we do not want to do, regardless of whether our reasons are reasonable or unreasonable. This is a very good thing!

To be honest, this kind of thing is the main reason why I don't tend to request particular things in advance. Yes, there are particular things I like, and I'll definitely go and see someone who I think it likely to provide those things... but I much prefer to let any given encounter play out however it happens to go at the time. And yes, that does mean that I'm not going to tick all of my favourite boxes every time I see someone... but that's OK. If someone's good enough at X, then as far as I'm concerned she can keep me happy without doing Y and Z at all, even though Y and Z are things I generally like.
