See, to me, that is as far as this story needed to go. . I'm not saying every worthy sp has a recommendation, or even a review. But like mod points out, as does CK, can any of the negative comments you read be verified? He puts up 10% of the reports he receives, which seems really really low in comparison to the number of trashing and bashing reviews I've read over the years that make it onto other sites. One thing clients don't see when they read these reviews and comments is the comments from the other side. His "rushed" is her "I couldn't get him to the door, he spent 20 minutes past the time the session was over, just getting dressed". His 'cold" is her "he made me uncomfortable, i couldn't wait for the session to be over' or 'he kept asking me for things I already told him I don't provide'. His 'distracted' is her "I hope he doesn't hurt me'. Lots of things affect a first appointment. I don't know many sps who can fully relax until someone is visiting for a 2nd or 3rd time. To review based on a first one time visit doesn't seem helpful, unless it is a review only about the advertising and pictures, and the basics of did she do what she promised, and did she charge what she was supposed to charge, and are the pictures accurate. You know, all those things that review sites were created for in the first place, but now evolved into a place to try to intimidate them into providing more for less, and nit pick over the small details that shouldn't even be an issue.

I don't have strong feelings on this, but I can certainly understand how ladies on the board might feel differently. I agree with Christy that there is something a little creepy about it. In general, i think the whole notion of blocked/hidden profiles runs somewhat counter to the philosophy of the board as a community. Since we are all anonymous anyway (unless we choose to disclose more to certain people), the whole notion of hiding your profile seems somewhat redundant. Interesting Question that Cristy raises. It would seem that most of her concerns are addressed in the post by PistolPete which indicates that verified SP's can access private profiles through the SP only access. That said the basic premise of Cristy's question remains... should a member who chooses to keep their profile private have the right to view other members profiles. Each member has the ability to include or not include as much private details as they wish in their profile so if a person does not want to reveal and personal data just don't include it. If it is your preference to keep your profile completely private maybe it would follow that you either not have the privilege to see other people's profiles or that other members would be able to choose a setting that would restrict access to their own public profile to anyone who has a private profile.... sort of a you only see mine if you show me yours too. I kinda think this would be a much fairer approach. I fully appreciate and agree with the current SP access to private profiles but other members should also be able to see the basics of individuals who are lurking them. Now having said all that.... this is certainly not a burning issue for me.

No not all, if that term is being used in a thread (See Cowboy's Diary) Most of those comments are really saving gents the hassle of dealing with fake ad's and scams, or in fact rip off artists. I think there is nothing negative about anyone stating see CK's Diary. In fact saving someone actual harm,or getting ripped off is a benefit to ALL of the gents here on this board that may want to use other sites looking for ladies, he has our best interests. I personally trust ck, he is human and can make a mistake but he is more diligent than anyone.... And he does not want to hurt someones business who does not deserve it, if everyone was as diligent as ck i am sure no one would have issues of negative reviews. I would not give anyone a infraction for referring to ck's diary if someone asks for info. P.s. Sending people to a site hosting negative reviews no matter how clever you think you are being with stuff like "a site othen then this that rhymes with erb" or whatever way you try to circumvent this rule will get you a infraction. It makes me and other members angry when you do this and is not appreciated. Ck's diary is the only please i let people reference in a negative way as his track record is amazing to say the least.

Let's also keep in mind that the focus of CKs diary is Bait and Switch and sometimes potentially dangerous situations. These things are allowed to be posted on CERB too. There is an actual section for this for almost all cities, but it hardly ever gets used. I think these areas could be used much more than they currently are, since B&S/perceived danger covers a lot of the most serious issues with providers. CK doesn't post negative reviews or subjective information about ladies. The info he posts is not usually a matter of opinion, which "reviews" are. That's the difference. While I am not in favour of "review" sites, I do think that getting out information about b&s/dangerous situations is important, and will only benefit the honest providers, the honest gentlemen, and the industry overall. This is not the same as posting negative (and often hurtful) reviews about perceived appearances, services, expectations, etc, which are all always subjective and always YMMV. (And btw, life is YMMV. The phrase existed long before online escort communities.) I don't know about others, but just from casual browsing, I find it pretty easy to figure out by looking at ads, websites, photos, recos, etc who is legit and who's probably not. I don't understand why it's so hard for others to figure this out. And I find it unfortunate that there is still people who think it's appropriate to publicly post about such intimate, and subjective matters having to do with another fellow human being who may just have had a bad day or didn't like the cut of your jib. Pistol is correct. I should have started the thread with Cerb is a recommendation board. However, negative recos are not allowed. CK's diary is a great opportunity to save someone from getting ripped off, or sucked in to a bait and switch situation, and for that, I am happy that such a research tool exists.

No SP's would avoid a virgin however most would want to have that information up front in original conversations. As much of a cliche it is, everyone remembers their first time and it should be a great experience. For many, it's not. Only you can know if it's hurting your social interactions. Your friend can offer an opinion but you are the only true expert on your life. If you feel waiting is important to you, do it and screw what your friends think. If you feel that you can't relate to women on certain levels or with a certain confidence because you have not ventured into sexual territory, then making a date with an SP is a wonderful way to delve into the unknown. If you do your research and find someone who excites you, she can provide a great experience and show you everything involved in the sexual/sensual side.
