Yes my friends, I have done it "my way"! Some may have noticed that my posts and threads are becoming minimal in nature (could be a good thing!). So as an update, the cancer continues to spread and has started to effect some nerves and cognitive stuff on a random basis. Docs tell me this is what I can expect for a while, nothing major, but all things being equal, by spring, my nerve endings will be really screwed up, memory may or may not be effected, speech may or may not be effected. They looked at me funny when I asked about my tongue! Anyway, hanging in, trying to get rid of this blasted cold provided to me by some uncaring asshole. Will continue to stay in touch while I can, hoping to be good for the next Ottawa Social, that is a focus! Will continue to drive and visit as long as I am able. Well I'll be the stick in the mud here, but frankly I'm kinda sick and tired of hearing about Justin Bieber. Seems every time I log on to the internet msn.com has another story about him. Funny thing though, for a "singer" none of the stories have to do with him as a singer. To me he's just a spoiled little rich kid. Is anyone else heart sick over the latest news of his arrest? We are all watching this young and talented Canadian fall and I find it so sad and heartbreaking. I am wondering why his family isn't bringing him home or doing something drastic to stop the insanity that has now become his life. I believe he is surrounded by leeches, ner do wells and those who are fame hounds and are on a path to no good and he is following their leads. What ever the reasons for his actions I do hope someone will step in and help.

Yeah... like others I'm pretty sick of Justin Bieber the meme/image/celebrity. But I withhold my judgement on Justin Bieber the person. Poor guy got waaay too much fame, money, and (thanks to those) power at too young an age. For most of us, occasionally hitting limits and facing consequences teaches us a healthy degree of humility. Then we grow in character by doing the work required to overcome those limits. Power earned is more often power employed responsibly. But when Justin Bieber hits a limit that somehow didn't bow and scrape out of the way before he even reached it, he can usually just throw some of his money or celebrity at it and it goes away. He never learns. Justin Bieber did earn his fame and money by using his talent (whatever you think of it... it worked). But I can't imagine anyone in their teens being ready to deal with the power and freedom that came with them. Surrounded for years by enablers and fawning sycophants, he's got every reason to think he's the master of every situation he gets into, and all rules will bend to accommodate him. I agree with others who think his arrest is a good thing. Maybe it'll just bounce off him; maybe he'll be contrite for a brief period and then return to who he was a week ago. Or maybe it'll take hold and actually penetrate his celebrity aura, and impact on whatever is left of his original person. Guess we'll see.

It is after great thought and consideration that I have decided that it is time to announce that I will be leaving the Massage business. It's always best to stay positive . Good energy, positive thoughts does bring about positive results. My even steven story. A while ago I went through a time when a few idiots kept posting lies and childish bullshit about me on another site. Mean and hatefulness and every time it happened I would get a reco, or something good would happen like a booking with a new client and usually a really good client, with long sessions and repeat visits. Lesson-ignore hatefulness, accept that bad things happen to good people, we all hit bumps in the road. Move on and know that good does come to those who wait and to those who ignore:)

That is definitely a bad stretch. I'm a scheduler too and usually book well in advance. You have to recognize that people are frequently busy, and juggling bookings, sessions, and all the "hidden from view" aspects of the business can be demanding. In general, i usually use e-mail or pm to make contact. If I haven't heard in a 2-3 days i might send a polite follow-up e-mail. If I don't hear after that, I'd likely move on. Of course, it also depends on when you want your appointment. If you're booking for 3 days in the future, and you haven't heard anything in two days, then it's likely reasonable to assume your preferred time can't be accommodated and move on. If you're booking 3 weeks in advance, you might encounter a slightly longer wait as the lady may be busy booking appointments that are coming up sooner. there are a lot of factors that come into play in deciding what is a "reasonable" timeframe. It's been an awfully long time since I last recommended Lilly, so it's been overdue. This time there was something genuinely new that was tried out.
