Not to take the thread in a different direction but GREAT story ICE4FUN. So many great ladies in this community but is extra special when something like that happens.

Was scrolling through posts and saw the thread on "playmate " and it brought back some great memories. A number of years ago I met a dancer at a strip club here in St John's we had a great night in and out of the champagne room and when the bar closed we went out to eat and played a little. I am a happily married hobbiest ... i love my wife and would do anything for her. We have so very many things that bring us together and make us both happy but you know I a Not sure I still believe like I use to that one person can meet all of our needs....perhaps seeing others provide a venue for me to meet needs for intimacy or connection in a way that is not possible with my wife. After a private dance with one of the girls yesterday, she told me that BF is expanding the second floor to add a legal brothel area to take advantage of the new sex-trade laws. Also the cops are not only aware they have treated me like a criminal and also outed my location more than once to individuals who have harmed me. Be warned. Oh and I find it amusing that after speaking with an advocate in calgary yesterday that 2 men from the same area code then attempted to book me and I now read that there are threads suggesting calgary is to be avoided by sp's. I AM LEAVING THIS INDUSTRY COMPLETELY DUE TO ATTEMPTED EXPLOITATION BY NUMEROUS INDIVIDUALS. I have had first hand experiences in what leads up to all the missing woman here and also the police corruption that ignores and covers these facts. I sincerely wish all the other ladies the best. With all the cops on this board you would think we would be much safer! And I spoken to multiple advocates across canada about what is happening to me here and I will not be your victim any longer!

YVR I cannot speak of, as I have not hobbied out west, BUT this is NOT even remotely true IME with ALL (okay maybe 99.9%) SP K-POP Gals in YYZ, YUL or YOW. ALL of them are 100% Korean SP's that are mainly from ICN (Seoul). There are a couple of real jerks causing big trouble. Scheduling dates they don't intend to show up for to waste SP's time. Post bogus bad reviews of rivals. A few consider this a cut-throat business and will do anything to eliminate competitors. I put up a bad review and get told someone is going to burn my house down. This is an excellent Article.... while I think that most Canadians who read this would generally agree the problem remains that for the majority of Canadians they don't have any real affinity with this issue so even if they agree with full unfettered legalization they are probably not going have any motivation to do anything to affect the outcome of the debate. Men like myself who participate in the hobby will chat on here and support sex workers in theory but due to the stigma associated with the industry we will not come forward and demand action. Who will speak loud and often... the right wing and religious fundamentalist who want all sex work to be illegal. Who is left to fight the battle a small brave group of Sex workers who so strongly believe in their right to make decision about what they do with their own bodies that they step forward ... they step into the spotlight... they challenge the laws and risk the public abuse they may receive for identifying themselves with an industry that still is looked down on by so many... they risk being seen as victims in need of being saved... they risk being seen as druggies or fallen women. Bottom line... we owe these individuals a great debt of gratitude for stepping forward to fight the battle for the rest of us. With a government like Stephen Harpers in power all the more so. It's more of a newbie mistake on my part. I was ignorant and unexperienced to many of possible threats one may come across as a independent provider. I didn't really consider that I came to become independent when I was ready too. I had several years experience working at winnipeg's upscale massage parlour that wasn't full service. Despite my many ups and downs over those years, I gained what I consider to be priceless experience learning types of clients, and ways to get along and or enjoy all sorts of different men's personalities and company. Without realizing it I gained valuable insight on little things to avoid and heard many experiences in general chit chat with multiple co workers over those years. I even miss my old boss, even though back then I was fired and rehired more times then I would like to admit, he was like a father figure, always giving me heck for not saving for school or a car. I didn't put much thought into darker elements of the industry or that some woman arent as fortunate in their experiences. I lack the competitive nature of many. I also lucked out and am very blessed to have attracted positive clients who were kind enough to share their experiences with other great clients. Having said that I am not ignorant to the fact that their are other woman who have suffered unfair reviews by disgruntled men for all sorts of reasons. Many likely pushed a boundary, and got mad at the result. Several indiv. tried to slander me with fake reviews and stories, and again I lucked out despite completely freaking out on them while waiting for mods to wake up and remove their late night posts. A few were even banned. I have never allowed myself to bullied, shamed or lied about on the other erb site. So many other others haven't been as fortunate. I feel for the providers as I honestly think many may not have deserved as much negative attention as they may receive. Everytime something negative is posted it is potentially a hit to her income, and some guys can't read a mention of a lady, even if it is positive and appears she may gained a better understanding as to what works for her and her clients, without slandering her name. I could of easily had things turn out the same way on several attempts to hurt my reputation as a provider. Most woman join this industry inexperienced and aren't as fortunate avoiding bad clients and or aware these boards to refer to. Here in winnipeg, I truly wish to see less bullying towards the providers. More respect and acceptance for individual restrictions, rates and WAY MORE DISCRETION! It isn't unheard of that we are sent copies of pm's between pooners and I got to tell you, SHARING OUR LOCATIONS AND EVEN AREA PUTS US AT CONSIDERABLE RISK. If you wouldn't want us doing it to you then don't do it to us. I lost my condo and literally everything I had worked for. I look forward to a new adventure in a new city. I know I would not be in this position except to lead me to bigger and better things. And I thank all the gentlemen I've met here and will miss many of you! Additional Comments: I would like to point out, that I am entertaining low volume from upscale hotels that frequently change all over winnipeg before my adventure. Good thread Sophia. Since I feel that I fall under the category you describe, I may as well take the plunge and reply my first real reply. I am fairly new at this, but I have about 5 encounters under my belt. The kicker is they have always been on the road while I was away for work. Its a little intimidating for me to take the plunge to contact a SP in a place like Moncton as Im a little paranoid that someone will see me or whatever (Im not THAT popular so Im not sure why I even care). What drove me to embark on this "lifestyle" if you will is a lack of passion in my life. My encounters have ranged anywhere from being a complete nightmare to my last encounter in Ottawa being an 11/10. That even ended in the SP giving me her personal number, which kind of freaked me out. I had shades of the movie Pretty Woman running through my head. And here I am openly talking about this on a message board....and I'm not even drunk.

By no means a deal maker or breaker for me. I understand a ladies choice for descretion. For some its a short term job while going to school or some other reason. Once a face photo hits the internet it could follow the lady around for long time after her career as a SP comes to an end. Remember there are a lot of people out there who are much more closed minded when it comes to hobbying. I would hate to think a lady posted a face picture today and 5 years down the road she is over looked for a job because of her time as a SP. Its a personal choice.

The thing is Ottawa has 2-3 reputable agencies (if you don't count the asian agencies, not sure how many there is) plus some more national one that will send a girl or two a week. Toronto has (at the top of my head) 16 reputable agencies and it's not uncommon for said agencies to have a rooster of 25 girls and more.
