They probably made the first reading very extreme in the hopes of losing less in re-writings. This would never pass constitutional muster.

Hi everyone, I just read this and I would like to clarify a few things. I believe like many have said, there are many reasons for SPs to prefer a certain clientele but please let's not generalize about black males being "pimps", "lacking hygiene" or not "being respectful" cause that happens with all races. And I speak from experience. Again, an SP has the right to choose the clientele she's comfortable with but I find such prejudice based on skin color very unfair and many black males that are very respectful suffer from this misconception. For your information, there are also black males that are safe, professionals, respectful, polite & definitely not pimps. Let's keep our eyes open to avoid the bad guys, but let's not generalize. Not just me either... We do have two mods here (and occasionally a third) and lots of great members who flag the bad posts for us. It really is all about the community.

In part they're playing to their 'core constituency' of social conservatives but this could have very serious and broad implications. I agree that most Canadians don't share these self -righteous puritanical attitudes, but that hasn't stopped this gang before. The law, if it passes, may well be struck down by the Supreme Court, but not before causing a lot of problems.

CBC News poll just said 12% support the new law, 86% do not. If this is true, there is good chances that (hopefully) the Tories will soften the laws

I have been a member for very short time, but every time I come to the board and read ANY thread, it is always comforting and refreshing to know that there are a lot of good people in this industry (from both sides) who are genuine and caring. It is a breath of fresh air to get such a positive energy from people who I don't even know, and who are thousands of miles away from me. It is nice to see a lot of men have a deeper level of compassion and understanding for SPs; to see that tolerance and respect can really make a difference in the industry, it's truly inspiriting. Seeing the dynamics n this board make me see a bigger picture... If every human being could follow very simple and basic rules the world could be a better place, and that we don't always have to agree, but we can also agree to disagree respectfully. Certainly the established set of rules and the excellent work if the Mod and council are major reasons for the success of this board but I also think the people who regularly come to this site value the community that has been created and want it to continue so they support the rules and the mod.... we know what an excellent resource this is and that if we don't support it the amazing SP's will not be comfortable being open here.

mod is the key. There is a strict no nonsense approach to things, including slander, trolling, negative attitude, and even questionable ad titles. Anyone can come here and know they can freely post, even disagree, and not be attacked by moderators with personal vendettas, or favourtism of posters who are hostile and aggressive. Nobody who says nice things about sps gets called names or gets discredited. We see that kind of behaviour on other sites all the time, question it and the whistleblower becomes the target of abuse. Blow a whistle here, and a happy parade starts :)

Unfortunately you're probably not going to get many replies. Most of the SP's in that age range do not have the experience in life or this hobby to provide the level of service you are likely looking for in a regular. There may be the odd exception but most of the ones that age get clients because a guy wants to bang some young hottie not because she has a solid rep as an SP.

I've been a member on here for a couple years now and as you can see have not posted many times, however have gained some valuable information in my decisions of who to see and who to avoid. It's really a shame that some of the SP's on here are being treated in a way that is so disrespectful to the point of them saying that they are "retiring" because of a few hacks that just don't get the message. Move on. After conflicting schedule I finally met nina. She had been here before so I tried to find a review. With no luck finding any I for on this lady I decided to TOFT. I even booked an extended visit. As will you, apparently. I can't speak to pimping; I have not directly experienced or witnessed such a thing. However, I did know a provider who preferred not to see blue (because really, what does the specific race matter?) male clients, because she had once been assaulted by a blue man. It wasn't explicitly advertised that she wouldn't see blue men, but she could often ascertain a client's race via screening methods. She knew that she didn't want to take the risk of having a client who would remind her of her assailant. I also knew a provider who came from a small, close-knit community, and preferred not to see clients from that same community, because she didn't want to risk encountering someone who might know her in "real" life. So, let's not jump to conclusions. There are a myriad of reasons why someone might choose to exclude certain clients.

Reading the comments is SO frustrating. Such ignorance and these are the people influencing the laws the government makes. We don't pay taxes, we're diseased, even if we're in by choice it's because the demons won or because we're poor and destitute or have a drug habit. We're out to desecrate people and relationships, I mean *ARGH*. So frustrating. Let's hope the Supreme Court is still on the ball as I have no faith in the government or the voices being heard over those of sex workers. Would have been nice to see a comment or two from them.
