I am not a regular poster, nor a long term hobbyist but I am looking for some feedback on the issue of booking appointments. My experience applies to both SPs and MPs. On multiple occasions I have booked appointments in advance (1-2 days) either by PM, email or text; whatever is most appropriate for the provider. I then am asked to confirm the day of the appointment typically several hours in advance...okay no problem I do that. But where I have an issue is when I do the follow up a couple of hours in advance and I get no response. In some cases I only receive an email several days later with a reason why they couldn't make the appointment. Now I can see if it was a emergency or a serious issue, but that isn't often the case. Isn't it common courtesy for the provider to let a scheduled appointment know if they are not available (via PM or text) as the client is planning their day accordingly just as the SP does. After all as a client I wouldn't want to be a no show w/o explanation for them. Am I missing something or do I have the wrong set of expectations on fairness goes both ways?!?!

I agree completely. I have met some very wonderful people as an SP and I love to help make my clients feel good. But when it starts to seems like they are relying on you solely for their happiness it begins to become stressful and can be a very harmful situation for the client and SP alike. Seeing an SP is a great way to help feel good in a number of situations but relying on anyone or anything but yourself for your happiness is not going to lead good places.

A reputable provider has built a reputation based on discretion. In this business, lack of discretion will sink you. Do your research, look for someone who has been in the business for awhile, has a website and ads. Check reco's and posts and look at the relationship they have with others. This will tell you a lot about their business practices including discretion and confidentiality.

The lineup is a bit degrading and I for one don't like being recognized by one MA in the lineup but choosing another. I'd much rather make an appointment with my MA of choice based on pictures or past sessions. That being said, Ottawa still has a long way to go to reach Toronto standards. Oh dear. This makes me think of what to me now is a rather funny story but originally, not so much! Ya, OK, I'll give you that :) And we should also allow an exemption for genuine emergencies, obviously. And things may differ if you're on a long appointment, rather than just an hour or two. But for most appointments, and for just chatting to friends or arranging the next appointment... never.

I think any time you can experience companionship with someone it can help with loneliness Unfortunately we tend to think if loneliness as the absence of people in your life... i can tell you from experience you can be surrounded by people but still live a lonely existence.... if a regular meeting with an SP helps meet that need then yea it us a great way to deal with loneliness. Just remember, when things start on time, everyone is a lot more relaxed and happy. 3. Social Media Interaction: This is a biggie for me. Whether you are writing here on CERB, on Twitter or on a subscribed Blog, your words are a window into your provider personna. The most beautiful person becomes ugly if they express themselves in a hateful manner. It cuts both ways. Some providers use what we say here as a screening tool - they don't want to deal with assholes and misogynists. Keeping that in mind, we won't see you if you have shown that you don't respect us. We won't see you if you are mean spirited. We won't see you if you twist our words against us. Food for thought. 4. Live rabid monkeys: Don't have them in your incall. They are intimidating. 5. Divided Attention: Everybody has a life. Sometimes we have stuff on our minds that we can't shake. The mark of a true professional in ANY line of work is to put that stuff on a mental shelf and get through the day. It's especially true here, where intimacy is so much harder to achieve when a provider's mind is obviously elsewhere. 6. Unnecessary commentary: Eeeeek. This is a tough one. Have you ever been in an intimate moment that has an undertone of soft and romantic when all of a sudden the badly delivered porn movie dialogue starts? I sought you out because I think you are going to be wonderful to and with me. Treat me like more than a donation envelope. Act as if you want to be with me. Make me feel like you want ME. He can also say things that can be very poignant and articulate. He has the ability for both and if I may say does both better than most. EMail (confirmation email) not returned in a timely manner. And no, I don't expect immediate replies to emails, but when it is coming down to the crunch, travel, leave, and hotel need to be confirmed, I need to get confirmation that the lady is going to show up Lady shows up at your hotel, providing a less than good encounter, saying "I gotta pay the bills hun, gotta pay the bills" Nothing like feeling like a wallet Another encounter, lady once she received the donation, says "now I can buy groceries" And again, nothing like feeling like your nothing but a wallet The pièce de résistance was a lady showing up, smelling of cigarette smoke, she asked to use mouthwash and all was fine...about an hour into a three hour encounter she asked if she could go out for a smoke break. Me being me, I said OK, she left with her purse, never came back...it wasn't so much losing $500.00 as it was being ripped off of an encounter All that said, my encounters overall have been terrific and recommendation worthy, and I focus on those positive memories instead of these few aberrations and am thankful to those ladies who made and make this a wonderful lifestyle and experience A rambling RG

Someone covered this in a rant before, but lack of manners and politeness bothers the heck out of me. -neglecting to say thank you when a door is held open -dropping a door in peoples faces -hogging priority seating on public transit -treating people like dirt because you feel more important then them. This one I see often as I bring customers to nice restaurants quite a bit, some of the VP's and directors I bring out are the rudest most condescending people I have ever met. if I didn't want (actually need) their money I would have choice words for them, generally I give an extra big tip, put my best face forward when dealing with the server and try to make an apology when we leave (out of earshot). Sometimes they see me being extra polite and turn it around, generally not so much. -general lack of respect is my biggest pet peeve.
