4 pointsDearest Ladies and Gentlemen, I was out to dinner with a very close friend this past March when she received a phone call from her young adult son. She was shocked to hear that he was in kidney failure and rushed to the hospital. He was immediately put on dialysis and diagnosed with end-stage renal disease. His kidneys were functioning at 5%. While the dialysis is saving his life in the meantime, his quality of life is greatly reduced as is his life expectancy. He has had to leave his job and must be at the hospital for 5 hours 3x a week. There are no vacations from dialysis. He is on the waiting list to receive a kidney transplant from a deceased donor. He has been told that the wait in Ontario can be 5-10 years. In order to maximize his life expectancy and improve the quality of his life, it's important to get a transplant as soon as possible. While the kidney of a deceased donor is a wonderful gift, the kidney of a living donor both works better and lasts longer. His mother was screened to be a kidney donor and does not qualify. At this time, he has no one who is both willing and qualified to donate. At the beginning of April, I offered my kidney. I passed the initial screening over the phone, and filled out the initial paperwork. Everything looked great and I was sent for bloodwork to determine if I'm a match. I AM!!!! I've now filing out stage 2 paperwork and will have to go for numerous tests to make sure that I am in perfect health. While it's not yet for sure that I can donate, as I "pass" each step, it feels more and more real that I could be in surgery this coming winter to have a kidney removed! I've done extensive research and am not nervous about the actual surgery. I will likely be out of it for a month or two, but that's something I can deal with. I have no children and as of January 2015, I will be done my coursework for my Master's and will need only to work on my thesis. This makes it easy to take a month or so off. I just need to work hard in advance :) What does worry me a bit is that I will have a scar after the surgery. I love my work as an erotic massage provider and I want to continue for many years to come. I've thought about it extensively and I am confident I will be able to continue offering my services and gain clientele. Most of my clients are looking for an experience of intimacy and connection with an attractive real woman, not an inhumanly perfect sex toy. My tummy is also usually pressed up against my clients during bodyslides and play. The scar isn't something I would be ashamed of. I would still wear bikinis and display my scar proudly in my photos. The only concern I would have is my privacy. I like to keep my Megan website and advertising such that if someone who knows me "in real life" came across my website, they wouldn't know it's me. In fact, I'm a tiny bit nervous posting this because my family knows that I am being screened as a donor. I've posted a couple photos of scars below so you can see what it will look like. Fortunately they now remove kidneys laparoscopically which reduces scarring and speeds healing. Gentlemen: How do you feel about seeing ladies with scars, stretch marks, etc. ? Ladies - How do you feel about working with scars, stretch marks, etc. ? Please feel free to contact me privately if you would rather discuss off the board. Thanks in advance, Megan

3 pointsWouldn't it be better for you to contact a lady you are interested to spend time with and ask her if she would be okay with your plan? I doubt any lady will PM you as you didn't even give details on what you are looking for in a lady. Also, you may need to explain what you mean by 'special' car ride to make sure you don't mean anything illegal.

2 pointsPetey's parliamentary secretary Bob Dechert debated Francoise Boivin (NDP) this morning. Go to http://www.cbc.ca/thehouse/podcasts/ He asserts that the bill allows escorts to advertise, rent space, and hire receptionists and bodyguards within normal commercial parameters. He also says any purchase of sex will be illegal. He sees no paradox. How can anyone reason with such insane mentality? Definitely worth listening to!

2 pointsI probably didn't explain myself clearly, the type of fun us CERB ladies can provide is illegal in a public place and discussing or inquiring for that is actually against CERB'S rules. So yes, here's is where fantasies do come true as long as those fantasies are not against the rules :)

1 pointI wonder at times if there is anyone left in this with world with true personal integrity, myself included in that general statement. I've been pondering this for a while now and and some recent events have caused me to jot down my thoughts. The first two events are political in nature and many may argue it's not an integrity question at all, just politics. The first is this. My own Member of Parliament, a long time Liberal member is also a devout Catholic. He has gone on record as being against legal abortion in Canada. As much as I may disagree with that I can at least respect his decision based on his vision of morality and religious belief. However, based on Justin Trudeau's recent comments that all Liberal nominees for the next Parliament must be Pro-abortion, my MP just prior to the nomination meeting went on record as saying that if it ever came to a vote in the House he would vote for the right to choose. Personal integrity? Whatever respect I had for him is gone. The second political event is the Bill C-36 legislation. It is most interesting that as far as I know, not one single solitary Conservative MP has spoken out against the bill. It is equally interesting that as far as I know not one single solitary opposition member has spoken out in favor of the bill. As this is legislation that has the potential to have women killed, do I believe that every single Member of Parliament is, by pure coincidence, supporting their party line? Not for a single minute do I believe that. I have not heard one opposition party leader state that they will reverse the legislation if they are voted into power. They could but do they care either? Political office is merely to them a game, a power game. I probably have as much respect for a Joy Smith as a Justin Trudeau or a Thomas Mulcair because at least I believe that she believes, even if I think she is terribly wrong. I don't know what anyone else believes. That's a political side of the personal integrity question. How about our own integrity? This could be a question for the game, "Scruples," but consider it for a moment. Let us say that, God forbid, you as a client are the unfortunate one to be arrested and charged under this new potential legislation. In a court room, under oath after swearing on a bible, are you going to lie and say that you only paid for time and companionship and that there was never any sex? If you as an SP are called as a witness, are you, under oath after swearing on a bible, going to mislead the court in order to protect your client? You cannot be charged for a crime if you tell the truth but perjury is a crime. Personal integrity. I recall well a few years back one of our absolutely most respected and well thought of women on the board said something to the effect that if she were in a hotel room with a client and a fire broke out that she would quickly find herself all alone. I challenged her on that at the time and we had a good private discussion on that. Was she right? Personal integrity. I am now just past sixty years old. I have always prided myself on my sense of idealism and personal integrity. I am feeling quite badly that over the last couple of years, for a number of reasons beyond politics that I am losing that. Personal integrity. I wonder..........

1 pointSo! I am currently visiting some girlfriends in Toronto. We decided to grab some dinner at the Mandarin, I'm starving after shopping filled day. While traveling down the escalator hungry as ever, my long summer dress gets caught in the escalator! OMG! it's eating my dress! ... Thankfully someone hit the emergency stop button in good time. So, here I am at dinner time stuck!!, people going around me and all we can do is laugh our butts off. The manager comes out and tries to free me with no such luck. He tells me the maintenance man will be ten to fifteen minutes or he can cut me out. Again I am absolutely starving so I replied "cut me the out!!" , and he did! My girlfriends recorded and photographed the event! Priceless! Lol

1 pointUp early... did not sleep well as I have a lot on my mind... so watching TV.... surfing the Web and now Checking all the New CERB posts. Unfortunately we are getting the rain from what's left of Arthur today so this may go from an early morning activity to an all day plan.

1 pointIt's bright and early on this Sunday morning on PEI and I am looking outside to see no additional damage here overnight from Hurricane/Tropical Storm Arthur. In terms of past history with storms like this, it was for me pretty easy. I lost a few big trees and that will keep my mega bonfires going for this summer and next. A giant maple came down on my established high bush blueberries so its natures call to do some serious pruning on those shrubs. My heavy duty well anchored (expensive) gazebo was lifted from its moorings and blown across the top of my driveway, right exactly where I park my Jeep. But a last minute impulse had me park my Jeep in the middle of the hay field behind my house. Patting myself on the back for that call! The power had been off for most of the day but came back in time for me to see the last few minutes of the Costa Rica - Netherlands game. All in all this was nothing too much. It's way worse out in Manitoba with their flooding around Brandon. How you doing out there Lee??????? Hmmm, the first storm of the year, the one starting with A came straight at us, Not an omen I hope! Have a great day everyone.

1 pointI would like to start of by saying that you took a step towards a very selfless act that I honestly am not sure I'd take for a friend's relative. I feel horrible admitting that, but your selfless deed did push me over the edge to do something else I've been contemplating for a while. So thank you.

1 pointI think its so nice to sincerely support each other and that we all know each other very well. Such a help to everyone. When I have a gent I can't help out I have just the right lady up my sleeve for him and he is always so happy. The other night I was in Sydney and I had a call form a known guest from The Lord Nelson, he was a surprise visit even to himself and was so happy when I took the time to look up Sierra's number. Don't know if he was successful but he was grateful and its a must to go that mile. He he, is this a hijack?? Win, win for us all girls, lets keep up the good work. Kisses to one and all! xoxo

1 pointThere's a new Jessica at Playmate! This one is a young blue eyed blonde and she's hot! She's also very good in the cr. Pretty close to the experience one could have gotten from the other Jessica!

1 pointI have scars, some with funny stories and some without. Not one person I've met intimately has commented on them negatively. Some don't ask at all. Some ask. Those who would mind... well, I doubt they'd pass your screening requirements anyway ;)
-
1 pointThis is such a blessing and a gift. I have a friend who did this exact thing as well a few years back for a close friend of his. His scar is very miniscule and his recovery time was short. He is still enjoying life as he did before with no negative impact. His friend is likewise enjoying life again compared to where they were. We all have scars and marks; these are the stripes we have earned going through life. Badges of honor reminding us how strong we are and what we have endured to get where we are. If anyone will judge us negatively on these or consider us "less anything" they are not worthy of our time. Life is too short to be impacted by small things and small minds.

1 pointPersonal Integrity, An interesting question: In my business relationships it's easy and my integrity is beyond reproach. I act honestly, am straight forward, demanding but very fair and say what I mean and mean what I said. Not everyone loves me but they respect me. In my personal life it obviously gets more complicated, case in point, I'm commenting on this question on an escort recommendation board and have participated in something that my partner is not privy to, so one could argue there goes the integrity question out the window. It is but one facet of personal integrity but it's a big one for sure. In the end I know and accept that I'm an imperfect person, I strive to be a good guy to all and in almost all aspects of my life I believe I act with a high degree of integrity. Peace MG

1 pointI'm procrastinating about making a decision about my future involvement here on CERB and my continued engagement in this hobby. Some decisions are hard so you put them off.

1 pointPeople who let little kids run and play in the house. I now have an upstairs neighbour, and she had some family in for the weekend. Including one or more small children who repeatedly ran the length of the house, shrieking at the top of their lungs. I know kids do this, but heck! This house is on a farm. Put the little tiger(s) outdoors to wear themselves out. When I was a kid, we certainly weren't allowed to run in the house. Nor was my daughter. These people will probably be wondering, in about ten years, why their teenager has no respect for his or her home. There's only one response to loud neighbours: OPERA!

1 pointRG... it now goes to the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights (JUST). The committee will meet whenever scheduled - we are not privy to it at the present time. Silver lining??? The vice chairs of the committee are Françoise Boivin (NDP) Gatineau @FBoivinNPD and Sean Casey(LIB) Charlottetown @SeanCaseyMP ... both of them have been absolutely AMAZING and extremely SUPPORTIVE in their interactions with sex workers and clients over the past week and a bit on Twitter. One notable mp member is who is NOT on the committee - Joy Fucking Smith. Eve Peclet (NDP) @evepeclet, Pierre Jacob @PJacobNPD (NDP) also are on the committee and also voted against the bill. There are 6 CPC members on the committee. This is where we MAY be able to make headway. I urge you to take a look at Francoise Boivin Twitter feed... she is ENGAGED. Sean Casey is also ENGAGED. They DO HEAR OUR VOICES!!!!!! Add them to your twitter feed and engage them. The following are the CPC members of the committee who may also be on Twitter Mike Wallace (Chair) @MikeWallaceMP Patrick Brown @brownbarrie David Wilks @DavidJohnWilks Bob Dechert (no twitter) Robert Goguen (no twitter) Kyle Seeback @KyleSeeback Get involved!

1 pointI feel the same here as in Cristy's thread. Paul Newman & Elizabeth Taylor. They crackled on screen. Others: Bogey & Bacall. That overbite, those eyebrows, the confidence even at 19 & you could tell he was already in love with her. They were great together. Burton & Taylor in Cleopatra. Still love them. Most expensive affair ever. Kathleen Turner & Michael Douglas in Romancing the Stone, Jewel of the Nile & War of the Roses. I love 48HRS. too but Eddie Murphy & Dan Ackroyd in Trading Places were hilarious. And of course Jay & Silent Bob in anything. lol Sandi

1 pointI have to go with the pairing of two of my favourite actors, Sean Connery and Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the last crusade. I'm a huge indy fan and just love that pairing. A close second would be Al Pacino and Robert Deniro in heat. They're really only in one scene together but it is an awesome movie.
