They release information to that third party with your consent and after you request it. Of course a lady will have to remember you as a client, because she destroys all contact information about you after your encounter which is why a lady you saw say four years ago, just once, won't likely give you a reference but one you saw at the most a year ago would be a good reference. The only exception to discretion is if a guy turned out to be a bad date, then the lady may have the guys name added to the black list/bad date list I don't know how long you have been involved in this lifestyle, but I've been involved since 2010 (not all that long compared to most) but most of the ladies I've contacted for dates, starting in 2010, required full verification/screening including a reference and my real name. As a client I guess I want the best of both worlds I want a discrete private location with parking that will ensure I am not seen by family or friends...but I want that private discrete location to be public enough to afford me the safety and security I want especially if I'm meeting someone new. Lolol... yea I know we want everything. So a Upscale Condo or apartment building in a good part of town with parking that has security features like buzz to enter and/or cameras would be fine for me. As a lady who does not normally require references, but is reference-friendly and understands the dynamics, I will take a run at answering your questions. 1) Ladies do not normally go around talking about which clients they have seen. But if a lady is reference friendly and doesn't mind disclosing to another provider her experience with that client and the client is the one requesting, then how is there a problem? 2) We all have different screening requirements. Some Sps require that a client complete a booking form and/or give his real name and other information such as a reference for verification purposes. 3) The client should always ask the lady first if it's okay to give her name as a reference and tell her which SP will be contacting her. That way she will know it's not someone's wife. If an SP contacts me out of the blue to ask me about a client, unless I know her from her board presence or reputation, I do not disclose anything until I've spoken to the client first. And her email address must match the one she advertises. 4) There are some of us who do not normally require references. After all some of us are same day bookers with short notice windows and asking every single new client for a reference would be logistically unfeasible. That aside, does not mean we might sometimes ask if there is a special request or other reason we feel we may require one. It's your perogative who you would like to book with, but that eliminates you being able to see those who do require them. Your choice, but if the lady has a good reputation, there is no need to assume that she will do anything nefarious with your information. For ladies who tour, only take pre-bookings, etc. whatever reason they choose to ask for references, this practice has been going on for many years and those who avoid that, to me, I ask, what is you have to hide?

At this moment, it is just theoretical discussion. But if this law passes as is (or similar to the current reduction) it will be change to the game. The client is the target of this law, it is intention of this law to put clients at risk. When it becomes the reality, LE will need to demonstrate this law is working. And we will see new cops activity in this area and some charges will be imposed, at least for some first period of time. At that moment each of the potential client will have to decide to take the risk or not. Pool results show that 65% will go out or stay with the regular provider. I believe, this percentage will be really higher when this new law becomes a reality.

Agreed 100%. When Valerie Scott testified, she was calm and cool. Plett STILL told her that sex workers need to "act like a lady." Translation? Don't act like a whore. The only good whore is a repentant whore...at least in their eyes.

It's an interesting question. I imagine there are lots of reasons guys make this mistake (well, people in general, but here we're pretty much talking about guys), particularly when an established "regular" SP calls things to a halt. A few things that occur to me, from least sympathetic to most: Some guys are control freaks and don't want to have another person dictate terms for any kind of relationship, no matter how little the "r" in "relationship". There can sometimes be an element of misogyny here too ("the guy is supposed to call the shots", and other sad and pitiful ideas about gender roles). Other guys are just insecure and see any "no" as a blanket condemnation of their whole selves, and a threat to their sense of self-worth. They'll fight unreasonably to avoid facing this particular terror. Other guys just think that you're supposed to fight for everything you want, to press your case and persevere in the face of obstacles. This is even sometimes a good idea in civilian relationships... other times not. But it's NEVER a good idea in a professional entanglement like this one. Other guys (here we're talking about those "regulars") are just yearning for the connection with this particular woman to continue. It has come to fill a deep emotional hole within them. Letting this kind of emotional fog descend over the relationship is probably why the SP has called things to a halt in the first place. There's no question that it's a mistake to try to change an SP's mind once she's made a decision. But if I try to fully understand the human dynamics at play, the reasons range from contemptible (#1, #2 above) to just badly misplaced (#3) to outright tragic (#4). When you get the news that any kind of human connection is over, or simply refused, it's tricky as a human being to find the right balance in response. It's somewhere between the one extreme of feeling nothing at all and just giving a shrug, and the other of losing all perspective and tilting desperately at a windmill. Even for people with good emotional balance, it can be hard to resist the allure of persisting in the face of adversity to honour your own feelings -- "sure, I'm a Montague and she's a Capulet, but what's that next to my earnest desires?!" That's not really what's happening, but people can re-frame a situation in their own mind to fit that noble model no matter how far off the mark. Learning our way though this minefield and finding the right balance is part of becoming an adult. Not everyone has made it there regardless of age -- and even those who have can forget for a while under the right (wrong?) circumstances. Returning to your original question: I guess those are some of the reasons some people make dumb mistakes like persisting when an SP has declined a client, or called an ongoing thing to a halt.

I agree with you 100% Rebecca. There was another thread that outlined the same problem and it's very irritating to say the least. There are members that do not take the time to look at our profiles, our services, if we are all inclusive or if we are even an SP or MP!! The fact is, we are spending time with you and these "only ???" solicitation requests are very disrespectful. Some of the ladies do offer a single service but a few are too lazy to look and start soliciting everyone it seems to get what they want. At the very least, it's not attractive or makes a lady feel good to ask for these things before you have even met or have taken the time to check out her services and reviews.
