Well I am widowed and after she passed away very unexpectedly was when I discovered this whole world that I had not even realized existed. I do not publicize my participation in seeing SP's but my kids all know and are very supportive of me in that regard. I got into this hobby when I was single, on again, off again. But I don't think I've ever needed this hobby as much as I do after getting married. Typical problems, we can't communicate with each other properly, trying to communicate only makes it worse. She constantly misinterprets what I'm trying to say, weirdest things end up in fights. Recently due to time and budgetary reason I have done several 45 minute sessions and have found that the time is just enough time to take a shower before and after, chat a bit and have a lot of play time. A buddy and I dropped in today (well yesterday by now), in the evening. It was relatively quiet, today strangely. For me, the chemistry isn't really something that I can say is a factor because I never know how that will be until we actually meet. I would say that looks are a very small pert of things as I am attracted to a vast variety of ladies. Reviews are something that plays a small part but they can be subjective. I'm not sure I'd say it's a direct side-effect, but perhaps can serve as an eye-opener. What I mean is that while there are plenty of people who are naturally and happily monogamous by nature, there are also those who are more inclined and suited to a non-monogamous (or monogam-ish) lifestyle. I'd say it's similar to how different people have different sexual orientations. It might be that seeing escorts is what has made you realize monogamy may not be for you (as opposed to it being the cause of it). I'd argue a non-monogomous person can still have a meaningful and deeply loving relationship. It's just that more challenging because for the most part people and society are not approving of non-monogamous lifestyles. The truly unfortunate thing, I think, is that too often people only find out monogamy isn't for them when it's too late.
