I hope this is the right section for this thread. Maybe should be in new to this section? I want to start this thread for new and upcoming ladies to the industry. With this community being an excellent source of information, us providers who are experienced and have learned the hard way we can share our words of wisdom to those who are just beginning their business:) So post what you have learned over the years and let's help our lady friends get started in right direction:) I will begin with this word: Investments for ads. The cheapest investment is your effort and time you put in on your advertisements. You may not have much cash in the beginning to invest in expensive ads, photo's and search engines. But, by putting a real effort into making your ads well written ( IE: Do not use "i" use the proper "I"), fun and enticing is a good start. Make it interesting with theme, but still be yourself. What is that makes you amazing? Learn the tools that are available. Maybe write yourself a few good ads that you can copy paste, add or subtract from. Put time into building your own site. This will eliminate the need of hiring or bartering off for skills. There are so many web site builders are easy to use. Also for posting your ads, find reliable places such as CERB, EC, etc...Make sure the site you use reflects your standards. If using a paid classified ad such as BP and you only have a small budget, post them on the pay days or buy a month package. Read, watch and learn from other ladies. See what is it that YOU like about them, BUT do not copy them! Just ask yourself, why do I like this ad? This photo? Then see if it is within your means. Also more sites you use, the easier it is to find you in google searches. Hope other ladies will add to this? What is the next major step for new business ladies should consider?

When you feel uneasy about a client and your instincts are telling you so, listen to them! They are never wrong! If you don't feel right about meeting someone, there is always another client that will come along. I have declined many appointments in my time and have never regretted it. At the end of the day, safety and feeling comfortable take priority over money.

Another thing. If you post pictures, DO NOT use pictures you've used on your social media sites (Facebook etc). They can then use tineye (or similar) to find out your real name.

Learn to say no. Learn to set boundaries, and when they are set, no exceptions. Do not think that you are hurting someone's feelings or risking future trouble/harassment when you say no to someone rude, pushy, or asks for services outside your boundaries. You are showing them you are not a pushover, and you are freeing yourself up for the next caller, who is not rude and pushy. In other words, just because someone calls, doesn't mean you can't say no to them.

I always say safety comes first in terms of knowledge of the industry, especially for those who are new. Find a good doctor and/or gynecologist one who is open to what you are doing, some are and some aren't and educate yourself on the potential risks of what services you are going to offer (always a risk but some are greater than others). Find out where the free clinics are too in your local area just incase you really need one and your regular doctor is not available. They usually have a ton of information on different diseases, risk potential etc. and are more compassionate about your choice to be in the industry, easier to talk to sometimes than your regular doctor may be. Most free clinics also give out free condoms, lube, some have dental dams, female condoms - make use of that. Some cities also have condom fairies where they will come to your home or your workspace and drop condoms and lube off to you. Team up with an experienced SP or two, you certainly don't have to meet them in person but even just build up a relationship with them via pm, phone or email, whatever your comfort level. We are often left feeling isolated and most of us can't talk to our mainstream friends or family about what it is that we do, so try not to do that to yourself. You can also see if they're willing to help you with time checks etc. Educate yourself on local advocates in your area too, in case a serious instance happens (hopefully not) they are a great resources in terms of information, legal info and support. They too can provide you with tons of information of risks surrounding the industry and practices/services you're offering and they also have free condoms, lube avail. And well you can talk to them about EVERYTHING. Some of them are retired, part time or full time in the industry and some have never worked, but they choose to support us and you'll find they are a very understanding and wonderful bunch of ladies.

I am one who generally likes natural breasts. That being said, I know there is a time/circumstance when EB will really help a girls self esteem. Time-perhaps in her 30's and 1 or 2 kids. Circumstance-an average size girl with A or B cups which give her too much of the classic pear shape and she wants to be in better proportion, top to bottom. BTW spinners look best with A's or B's. The second is don't take advice from clients. (sorry fellas who have posted, I'm not saying your advice isn't valid but...) Initially, you should listen but if it isn't backed up by a peers or another experienced providers don't act on it until you know it's genuine advice and not self motivated for their benefit. There are some that will guide based on your needs but those that simply want to further their agenda will erode your success in the industry. Third is network. Invest time in getting to know other providers, even if its only online. The returns are bankable... cat

Montreal is very nice in the fall... At the risk of keeping this thread going, I'd like to add that I started telling the SPs what my racial background is in my introduction. In the past, I've had a few appointments that didn't go as well as expected. Can't describe it really, just didn't feel that the SP wanted to be there. Now I'm not saying that it was because of my race but since I've been telling the SPs upfront, I've not had similar encounters. I have, on the other hand, had several SP not respond to my request at all. I alway make three attempts, don't know why but I'm a baseball fan so three strikes, your out. It's safe to say that these SP definitely had the chance to respond but chose not to for what ever reason. I'm fine with this because the SP that do respond are happy to see me and we have a great time together. I know this is an N of one but it works for me and that's what counts in the end. In my head, I believe it also works for the SP and that's what counts for them. It works for the two parties that's going to get intimate together so It's a win win and I'm not counting it as racism. By the way, the weather sucks in TO right now.

They probably assume I'm very busy but truth be told as a seasoned SP, I have built up a lot of regular clientele over the last few w and there are days I dont advertise. This topic has been discussed before on cerb, most notably: http://cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=181140&highlight=blacks I am in no way speaking for everyone, but I have met some SPs who are will not see black clients, tell me the reason for doing so is their past/present boyfriends or handlers were black men and they don't see clients of the same race they date. I knew an Sp who was of another ethnicity who would not see clients of that ethnic group because she did not want to run into anyone she might know from her community. Sps provide an intimate service and are when it comes to our bodies, it's our rules. And we shouldn't have to explain ourselves to anyone.

A lady has the absolute right to choose who she is intimate with, irrespective of a clients race, creed, colour, religion, age, body size, hair/lack of it etc etc etc 2. Forcing a SP to be sexually intimate with a man she does not wish to be with is akin to a sexual assault. Doesn't no mean no...even if the reason is skin colour 3. Often ladies may have a BF/SO (some who may not know their GF/SO is an SP) who is for lack of a better phrase, part of a small ethnic group in her city, and seeing someone of the same ethnic group as a client could publically expose her to that small community where her profession as an SP could be discovered. Racism may not be the reason, it may be because of discretion and anonymity. 4. Yes maybe racism too. Not saying it doesn't happen. But that said what man would really want to see a woman who doesn't want to see him. There are many beautiful women out there that aren't racist and would love to spend time with a respectful gentleman of any ethnicity. That's just off the top of my head. Concerns of escorts and customers are serious and I respect them. But prostitution is not on the minds of many people these days. There are horrible conflicts going on all over. People worry about job security, feeding their families, building a future for their children. How many people sit at their dinner table wondering about whether escorts should be allowed to pay their driver or not....very few. There too may other and more immediate worries. This is my issue. Instead of working on things to actually help ordinary people the Tories are piddling away and playing games with C36. They could fix it quickly and quietly. They prefer to look like they are doing things instead of actually doing things. Image is all they care about. Of course C36 is flawed. The Tories know that and DO NOT CARE. They eagerly crap all over SPs and pooners just to get votes. C36 is not about safety or what is right, it is about pandering to an audience. é

I've been quite quiet about this bullshit bill but I am so sick and tired of the fear it's creating for the hobbyists, it's literally making me sick. I get PM's "You are on my wish list, I need see you before the bill passes", I'm starting to find these PM's insulting, I as many other Companions are established and safe to see no matter what and I'm upset that the hobbyists are in such a frenzy of manic panic and that is what they want. Screw the bill if it passes, we will need to change the language when communicating but how hard is that. I and many Companions have established businesses as Companions, we are reputable and legit Companions. From Coast to Coast there are hundreds of reputable Companions like myself that are safe to contact and you know we are not LE. Just a suggestion. Make a list, possibly an Excel sheet with the established, reputable and trusted Companions you see and want to see with all their contact information (Name, email, phone # and website), password protect it and either put it on a USB or email it to yourself or whatever but put it in a safe spot. Anyways, I see it like this. I Lexy Grace am an Elite Courtesan Companion, the donation I receive is for my time and companionship only. Whomever I am spending time with we could be watching a movie or having dinner. That person just wanted companionship and company. I am not selling sex, I am selling time for someone to spend with me. I have many encounters options that don't involve anything physical, if we happen to have sex, that was free. They paid for my Time and Companionship Only. I have something in motion if the bill passes to ensure my safety and that of the person I am spending quality time with as a companion for time and companionship only. Hailey Heavens, (Claire's new friend) is short as well! I'm not tall at all, but she made me feel like a giant. I think she has to be 5' tall at most! She's new. Still has a bit of the jitters but I will be repeating. She seemed to like what she was doing, and has a killer set of eyes!
