I think everyone just really needs to calm down seriously lol .. It's really not as bad as what the media etc. are making it out to be. As an activist for this industry sp's and pooner's alike, the abolishment agencies have their own agenda and it takes WAY too much manpower and tax dollars to go around busting indie sp's. You come to a city like Vancouver where there are literally thousands of sp's and it'd take them forever to bust every single indie in this city, although Vancouver has already made it quite clear they have no desire to partake in enforcing the laws in the new bill. As for an sp outing her clients, come on guys seriously? No sp in her right mind is going to damage her business reputation, for those of us that have been around for YEARS (decades in my case), the police better dig a grave for me before they ask me to out my clients. I come from a very different era of being an sp and outing clients was one of most taboo subjects my first indoor boss ever taught me. I'm stubborn that way, heck it took me years to even offer girlyfriend exp because that was so taboo when I was taught. For the gentlemen who was commenting about posts on the baby cow, the sp in question used face pics in her ads while touring (which is a big no-no) and the Alberta hotel industry has a big beef with sp's for the past two years, this is WHY she got busted. I'm also sure there's probably a bit more to that story and technically she wasn't busted, she was asked to vacate the hotel, she wasn't taken down the station, fined or anything that I recall. That's not being busted, that's being removed from a hotel that didn't want her present there any longer. A client could've outed her, a disgruntled sp, a guest in a room next to hers, who knows, but there's more to it than what was said. I have an online business, have had it for years, one of my best friends of over 20 years, is the GM of a major hotel chain in Alberta. She's totally cool with sp's working in the hotel, as long as they pay their bills and don't cause drama. Every year they host conferences (few times a year), share information and tactics to prevent being ripped off. Two years ago a guy was sent from Montreal with a bunch of ladies to Alberta and instead of legitimately paying for the rooms the ladies and he were using, he decided to be a clown about it and use a credit card scrambler machine, raking up over $600K in bills in various hotels along the gateway blvd strip - my girlfriends hotel was one of them. The hotel owners have a right to be mad, they have a right just like we do to protect our business interests. So this is what the put into policy and I did send someone over to the baby cow to let them know and the majority of people didn't take it seriously, that's their problem. If you dress in a manner that the hotel staff deem to be inappropriate you get put on a watch list in the managers office. If you are acting derogatory or demeaning to any of the staff and they have you on that watch list, guess what? They're calling the police. They'll look you up on backpage and whatever other sites, see if they can spot you using face pics, boom you're outta there. I'm not saying it's right, but at the same time if I was ripped off a few hundred K, I'd be a little choked too. When I tour and am in hotels, I'm probably one of the most grubbed out looking customers in the hotel, whenever the staff see me. My hair is up in a bun, no makeup on and I'm wearing sweats and sneaker's, I'm always very polite to all of the staff and reveal bits and pieces of my other work, so they never suspect anything. I'm always super quiet, tip well to housekeeping and ensure there's nothing in my room that will give me away as being an sp. I don't run around half naked, giving attitude, partying it up in my hotel room and bring myself unwanted attention EVER. I went to one of the hotel owner and managers conventions with my girlfriend earlier this year and another sp, all of that information about their new policies came right from the horses mouth. If that incident wouldn't have happened, things would probably be lax just like it used to be, but when you start ripping people off, they're going to take action and you can't blame them. Alberta does have stings every year that they partake in, usually twice a year .. October is definitely one of the months they do it, every year like clockwork. They meet their quota and boom it's over with. Additional Comments: I just wanted to add a few more things, as an activist, I've had more than my fair share of dealing with abolishment agencies and I know first hand what their objectives are. Minorities are number one on their target lists for being "rescued" and anyone suspect of being a minor (insert sarcastic tone -because you know all younger ladies are pimped), people that they think have a high possibility of being "rescued". So older ladies and those that are well established, I highly doubt will have any problems with police. The police will go do their door knocks on some Asian massage parlours and micro's to shut up the abolishment agencies, so they've got some people to rescue and it keeps everyone "happy". For the record, I've worked in this industry for almost 3 decades, just a few years shy of that, I started when I was VERY young ( a minor in fact) and I've had ZERO dealings with police personally, about me, pertaining to my work. And any time they've shown up at my door, they've point blank said, we know you're working and we don't care. My bad for having a crazy ex boyfriend and working with an sp that had serious personal issues. They know I'm a lifer and not going to give them squat for information, so they don't bother. Don't panic guys, just mind your P's and Q's, stick with long term established ladies and do your research, you'll be fine.

This topic has been discussed before in other threads. I don't think Terri Jean Bedford's comments to the Senate are representative of what most of us are thinking or willing to do. The bottom line is that no established companion would risk their reputation to do something like this. There is no end reward for them and would basically be business suicide.

I'm wondering is Law Enforcement will waste any resources on this victimless crime. Its not like photo radar, which generates money. It is 100% revenue negative, and will tie up courts, judges, juries, legal aid with zero benefit to society. I think the strategy to defeat this is to attack its defenders, and take them off their high horses. Expose the skeletons in their closets, even take one or two down in their own stings. That'll get everyone to back off...

I agree, this and school zone/ playground speeding are my biggest road "pet peeves". I am sick of these people that think their lives are so important, they can't wait 30 seconds or slow down and be aware of children crossing the road or debarking from a bus. Hell, I have a busy schedule in my work but even when the bus has just the yellow light flashing, I stop and wait. I remember one time stopping for a school bus that was just starting to stop and had the yellow lights on. The two cars behind me did the same but behind that some idiot pulled out and barreled past us all doing about 120kph to get by before the sign came out and the bus had the red lights going. I seriously wanted to track the guy down and beat his ass but I was so stunned, I didn't even get the license plate.

Almost nothing pisses me of more than drivers who ignore school buses stopped with lights flashing and picking up/letting off children. Now in a few buses in Saskatchewan and Manitoba they are installing cameras. So far in about 4 weeks they have caught a huge number of offenders. Bet your boots cameras will be in all across Canada very soon. Couldn't be happier.

Consider downtown, airport, North York/Markam 3 different touring ground. Some people will travel the one hour to see you if they really want to, but most people will look who/when you are in their prefer area. For my personal experience there is no best weeks or days. It vary. I personally prefer Monday-Friday 9am-7pm so I cather to this crowd. Sunday I found is always a hit or miss. Or not one call, or everyone calls/inquired.

No, not at all. It just means the governing body that has the final say in .ca domain names is Canadian and falls under Canadian jurisdiction. Where .com domain names are USA domain names and no jurisdiction. We are still a canadian company and we are still complying with the new laws as everyone should. The dots/dashes are annoying, we all invested a lot of time and me myself many years of my life building this site and to have to conform this because the government pulls this BS makes me sick to my stomach! The stress is killing me! No one HATES this more then I ... i can assure you of that. But short of packing up the company and moving to another country we must comply. Other sites that changed domain names and moved servers to Amsterdam are NOT safe as the owners are still in Canada. If the police wants to go after them it's not hard to find them if they are taking any sort of payment. They are breaking the law, we choose to comply and no break the law so that we can keep the community going.

As cautious business women would probably not have these details on her site. Like I have, and many before me, only sell time and not those kinds of things. Good morning my Friends, Enemies, Countrymen I entered this land of Cerb in 2010, longer than some, but not as long as others. Through this time I have made some great Friends, wonderful relationships and fun / sassy encounters that I have fully enjoyed. If you are reading this, I am assuming you have previously read the ones on getting cancer (the fu....oops sorry mod, the bastard) and the ups and down, trials and tribulations (sounds like my sex life!!) over the past couple of years. Well the end is nigh. The objective is to be around for Super Bowl, to know what that is and not think it is a luxury, Japanese toilet. Although the surgery to the shoulder removed a good chunk of cancer cells from the bone and muscle, it ended up travelling to the cortex and continues to grab onto chunks of the brain (what little brain there is!). The chemo treatments, especially the experimental ones helped to delay, sometimes shrink the bastard but it still crept along. Memory has become a huge issue with holes as big as Ottawa's sink holes in the expressway, the gps has become my day to day companion when driving, starting to need one when walking! Thinking of wearing a sign around my neck along with my mittens with strings, that points to my house, or a bar that serves great single malt scotch. You know you are on the way out when the docs are arranging your next treatment when they say, "we will fit you in when convenient", not sure who it is convenient for...... Squirrel!!! sorry I wandered off for a bit Anyway, back to the Ladies of Cerb. Whether a MA or .., as previously stated, I have been lucky enough to enjoy a friendship and a kinship with and I am ever grateful. It's not very often I am at Pigale's in the evening, but boy, am I glad ( also pissed ) I decided to go. The talent was exceptional, I had my eyes on a few ladies and met several others. I was at Barb's last Tuesday. It was a very slow night. I am not a regular so don't know all of the names....but I did get dances from two girls. Turn offs? Not many. At my age, I am always pleasantly surprised that a woman will not throw up when we are naked in the same room. These are more general observations than anything else. If there is any advice I can pass along, these would be a few things that I would suggest: 1. Time: Hobbyists are consistently reminded that they are not compensating a provider for a specific service, they are compensating her for her time. Keeping that in mind, the idea of "shoot and scoot" just doesn't fly. A two hour appointment should last two hours unless the hobbyist leaves early at HIS discretion, unless of course he has been a total dickhead. If he has been a dickhead, you have the right to kill him and dissolve his body in the bathtub. 2. Punctuality: These days, everybody has time pressures. As much frustration as it is for a provider when a client is late, it is equally as frustrating when a provider shows up late. Life happens. We all make mistakes. We all get delayed. Just remember, when things start on time, everyone is a lot more relaxed and happy. 3. Social Media Interaction: This is a biggie for me. Whether you are writing here on CERB, on Twitter or on a subscribed Blog, your words are a window into your provider personna. The most beautiful person becomes ugly if they express themselves in a hateful manner. It cuts both ways. Some providers use what we say here as a screening tool - they don't want to deal with assholes and misogynists. Keeping that in mind, we won't see you if you have shown that you don't respect us. We won't see you if you are mean spirited. We won't see you if you twist our words against us. Food for thought. 4. Live rabid monkeys: Don't have them in your incall. They are intimidating. 5. Divided Attention: Everybody has a life. Sometimes we have stuff on our minds that we can't shake. The mark of a true professional in ANY line of work is to put that stuff on a mental shelf and get through the day. It's especially true here, where intimacy is so much harder to achieve when a provider's mind is obviously elsewhere. 6. Unnecessary commentary: Eeeeek. This is a tough one. Have you ever been in an intimate moment that has an undertone of soft and romantic when all of a sudden the badly delivered porn movie dialogue starts? I'm getting the shivers of discomfort just thinking about it. Ohhhhh... and please. Don't speak if your mouth is full... mid BJ commentary is kind of a boner killer. 7. Turkey Bacon: Only if every pig on the planet has died of a horrific flesh eating disease will turkey bacon be acceptable. 8: Outside communication: Turn off your cell phone. Do it. Now. Unless you have a friend or family member that is dying, your attention is with me. I've ended two encounters early because the provider was constantly checking her messages. In virtually EVERY other business, that kind of behaviour would merit discipline or termination. It's a disservice to your professionalism if you can't give me our time. The person on the other end of the line is NOT paying you now. I am. 9: Talking badly about other providers: This is tough. It's a very competitive business. Like many other hobbyists, I don't necessarily provide reviews or recommendations for the majority of providers with whom I have spent my time. Keeping that in mind, you have no idea of the nature of my relationship with nearly any other provider. I may absolutely adore a provider that you have just torn a verbal strip from... and that really doesn't help your cause. 10: Just another client: The biggest mistake any provider can make is to treat a client like "just another client." I have chosen you because you represent something desirable. I have brought my hard earned cash with me because I think you are special. I sought you out because I think you are going to be wonderful to and with me. Treat me like more than a donation envelope. Act as if you want to be with me. Make me feel like you want ME. The best providers (and we have so many great ones) know that the encounter is so much more than an intermingling of moistened body parts. They understand that the fantasy is passion and desire. If you want hobbyists to respect the fact that you are so much more than just a series of desirable body parts, treat HIM like more than a penis with an envelope. Jeebus. I was on a roll there.
