I awoke to the news that an old acquaintance had suddenly died. We used to be close (roommates for 3 years) but then . . . life happened. As a young man he was energetic, funny and full of life. In recent years he was difficult. His career had not gone as planned, his unhappy marriage had dissolved and he was estranged from his children. I no longer travelled much to his home city so I saw him very infrequently. Writing or calling often felt awkward. I feel sad that his life was as unhappy as it was and for any part I might have played in that. There were things he could have done to make his life better but I could have made more of an effort and helped too. I'm doing a bit of self-examination and thinking that, while it may be too late to have a positive impact on Albert's life, there are others that I love who would love to have me in their life more. It's a reminder (a sad one) to take off the blinders and look around a bit more. Be present in your loved ones' lives.

All of the hard work that I have put forth in the past 2 1/2 years towards goals within my personal life is now paying off! 2014 was a really good year for me, and I can already feel that 2015 is going to be the BEST one yet, have not felt this much HOPE and happiness in years :) :) :)

One envelope had two windows, one with my name/address and the other saying amount $50.86 to RG (well my real name) Paper was blue, looked like a cheque...I'm all smiles, found money you know Open it up, no cheque, hidden print was rate adjustment, a two year magazine subscription for $33.00 instead of $83.86 Making a magazine subscription offer seem like a cheque, not too f*cking impressed RG

Going "indy" isn't everyone's cup of tea and certainly not as easy as it might seem, especially now in this new environment. Some just prefer leaving facilities and location issues to some one else. Lots of decisions to make when entering the indy scene, lots more work to do, more investment and much more organization is required if one wants to be successful and develop a longer term business model. Some one once said to me that while there's good money in the game... it doesn't mean it's easy money. Peace MG

This was from January 8th, I have been cleared by my physician after my very long time away healing/recovering from surgery that I have been putting off for too long but I'm strong, healthy and doing very well. Hmmm let me think.... what do I like to nibble on.... what do I like to get my mouth and lips all over as often as I can... it would have to be something mouth watering... can't see myself liking something all dry... definitely the wetter the better... maybe ice cream because I love things I can lick... but no maybe not ice cream is cold and I kinda like things hot and wet.... hmmm this is hard.... the question I mean. Maybe I will just sit here for a while and think about all the great things I have tasted this year and I will get back to you later when it's not so hard. I think this thread is kinda sweet, and funny too! I did not get married, I am back in school for the moment. I took a year off to recover from some health issues, and after some much needed healing, decided to go back to school to complete my degree. I miss all the lovely moments I was able to share with you awesome people, and miss all the amazing women in this community also. See, that is kind of surprising. The Simpson's are on their 26th season. its like never seeing an episode of Saturday Night Live. Family Guy though, is an acquired taste of the Maturely Immature. Walking Dead can be quite interesting. they leave you on some good cliffhangers. And has many moments you don't see coming. I was hooked by the first scene. I find many of their scenes are done really well artistically. but its hit and miss I guess. Whether you'll enjoy the post Apocalyptic Zombie land or not

I get what you are saying about the not shooting Properly. They are not my favourite kills anyway. I like those close up bash its brains in stuff :P I'm sure the riffles are for dramatic effect. not too sure they ever lined up a shot in the Graphic Novel the show is based off of I as well though find that if loses something when you go from book to screen. Like the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, they left out so much of what was in the book. Twilight too. It happens as well sometimes they add charicters and mix up plot lines when they do this (like Dexter for example. ANd Pretty Little Liers) NINJA TURTLES!!! they messed with my turtles. My son Almost didn't want to watch the movie with me because the tv show, April O'Neil is just some little girl that hangs out with them. They're her pets. I was like NO WAY!!!!! April O'Neil is a KickAss investigative reporter for the Channel 6 News!!! He Loved the Movie, and I even got to explain to him as it started a a Dark style Graphic Novel in the late 80's. Then was Developed into a live action movie. Then a cartoon followed and 2 more movies and a wackton of Comics and Merchandise from there. So sometimes when they Relaunch these story lines they have to tweek it a little so it can keep you guessing or interested. SO I was Still Shocked Beth died. Maybe mostly just the way she did. lol SHE was a crappy shot. I expected her to get eaten lol

Do unto others as you would have done unto you. I'm sure most of us guys would rather our "companions" be discreet outside of our encounters, so they should expect the same of us. They're people too, with family and friends and living in a society which still very much stigmatizes what we do. Unless you've been explicitly told it's okay, don't assume you can insert yourself into their private life.

Rotting meat - this happened once when a freezer got unplugged and wasn't discovered until it was too late :-( the freezer was a write off, couldn't get the smell out. Cleaning it out was the worst experience.

I have not seen her but I love her pictures too. She is a very active participant on another review board (baby cow). The reviews on her are mixed but overall I think most are positive. I think I'll have to find out for myself .

Two smells that stand out for me.... Rotting milk Vomit

In a weird twist of worlds, I can remember a time when an SP I met before came for a series of scheduled interviews I was doing for my company. My heart went out to her as I am pretty sure she was even more of a nervous wreck after I came in to give the interview. Never once did I let our SP/Client relationship interfere with her candidacy for the position, but I definitely never heard from her again in any way (not that I blame her). So discretion was definitely compromised but not by either one of us. Really weird experience.

I LOVE the Chicago mix too. I like gelly type candies like watermelons, twirlers, bananas, gummy worms ect. and Chips. there really isn't many chips I don't like. I recently had a former client friend-request me on my personal Facebook because we had a mutual friend. I found it highly inappropriate and somewhat disturbing. I promptly blocked him and it is safe to say I would no longer be comfortable seeing him as a client, were he to contact me again. If you see a lady outside of the workplace, whether it be in person or on social media, pretend you didn't. It is a game we all play for the sake of discretion. I have no illusions as to how private, or public my identity may be, but as members of this community, I think we can all agree to be cordial and limit our interactions to the hobby space, unless both parties indicate otherwise. That said, there are circumstances where relationships formed in the hobby can migrate into the rest of our lives. If you and your client/lady maintain contact outside of the hobby, it is up to you how to handle chance meetings etc. But if you only connect with your lady/client for the purposes of hobbying, then take care not to make any assumptions, no matter how friendly your client/lady may be during appointments.
