No offence, but I am uncomfortable with this and prefer to just have my hair trimmed" She was very upset, face dropped and I felt terrible for having to say this. BUT WOW...why do beauty salons have to turn into a bitch fest? Are there that many things to complain about in life? And to a stranger at that? I LOVE MY NAIL TECH! He asks simple questions, how are you doing? How was your vacation, etc...then he gets to work making my hands soft and pretty! I even told him I appreciate his style, and he totally got me on this issue. He said he understands, cause he does the same thing. JUST WANT MY HAIR CUT, lol I guess it is another reminder of how different we SP's are from the general population. My opinion and answer to the above scenario as it's explained is no, it is not okay. Step inside, explain that you can't stay, give some respectful reason and offer her some compensation, that is decided to be fair between the two of you. She was there, on time, prepared, so why would you be so rude to not even step in and offer an explanation? I would say that scenario would only be acceptable if you were mislead, felt threatened/unsafe or because of some other dishonesty. The fact that you weren't attracted is unfortunate but not her fault. There have been many men that I've met that I didn't find physically attractive but thankfully I didn't just shut the door because most of them certainly had other traits that caused me to have a very good time! Hold on here one second, sending an email is one thing, but actually thinking of or approaching someone in public is a COMPLETELY different thing. I started that thread, because the person in question (WHOM I DO NOT KNOW) made me uncomfortable and crossed the line. You commented on that thread that you saw nothing wrong with walking up to a "Lady" in public - do you know how many steps of wrong that is - you expect discretion yet you don't provide it in return. (your post clearly validates that) Do you ever think for one moment that when you send off a text to a "Lady" that there may be repercussions? Not every "Lady" can be trusted nor practices discretion. Its been seen time and time again and texting should be at your own risk - I don't text and I won't text anyone ever. I use email for communication, if you contact me and want to know of my travels you will then be advised of them in the future.
