Over the past year, I would say I spent between $4,000-$6,000 per month on ladies if I include tips and gifts. And it can go fast if you count duos trios and quads, and the parties. I'd say that when I am in Ottawa I would see ladies see 2-3 times in a week. That being said, I much prefer quality over quantity. It's just that I am getting more frisky in my dirty thirties. While I do not have a ''budget'' for this part of my life really, I go with the idea that I do not want to dip into my assets, so as to always increase my wealth. The passive revenues I generate would comfortably allow up to 10k a month towards the ladies if I want and continue to increase my net worth without lifting a finger. So for me, time and location are the determining factors driving my spending on the ladies here. That, and I dislike being out in the cold weather (other than skiing). I retired at 31 and gave up the notion of ever having a full-time job again. So I am always on vacation, except for when a special project interests me. That being said, I keep quite busy and am always searching for new experiences. I spent about 10 weeks travelling to other countries and throughout Canada, so I did not spend on the ladies during those weeks, except for foreign strip clubs.

Trying to figure out if there is a seasonal pattern to the way hobbyist spend their money on women. This is my general observance over the years to how I spend my money and probably how others spend also. Jan - A lot less spending, It's after christmas and after all the sales, I have less money to spend and more bills to pay off. Also the UIC and CPP deductions are now being taken off the pay checks again. This can cause the bi-weekly pay cheques to be up to 300 less each pay :(. Plus the cold weather makes it harder to get around at noon. Feb - Still paying the bills and weather is still not good. March- Spring break, holiday spending. and the Tax season coming up. April - Weather is better, Maybe a tax refund coming, Getting hornier :) May spend a bit more depending on cash flow. May - Spring is hear, May have more money to spend. June - Warm weather is hear, but have to spend money on getting the house ready for summer. July - Summer is hear, bbq's may have more money when EI and CPP deductions have stopped. May have up to 300$ more per paycheck till the end of the year. May see more women each month now with the extra money. August - Summer holidays and summer spending. But may see 1 to 2 women while on holidays that I would not normally be able to see during the rest of the year. Sept - back to school expenses if you have kids in school. Oct and Nov - try to see as many women as I can depending on Cash flow. Dec - Still managing to spend some money, but need to spend on Christmas gives and parties. I think my situation is like most other hobbyist? Let's see what your seasonal spending patterns are like. This may explain to the women why times are sometimes slow?

I have told this story here before on CERB in some thread but I will tell it again because it was in fact a first meeting... A few years ago I was meeting a lady for the first time and if I am honest I was pretty nervous... I though I had everything pretty well covered... shower... shaved... card with a donation in it... I was set. But like I said I was nervous so got downtown early went into Starbucks to kill a few minutes and then headed to the hotel... i was about halfway up the street to the hotel when I realize i left the envelope with the card and donation in it on the seat at Starbucks...I rush back and lucky bastard that I am it was still there.... now I am gonna be late so I rush to the hotel. I get to the hotel and am greeted by an amazing lady and we spend a wonderful hour getting to know each other... i think everything went great and left the room on a high. As is my normal practice after meeting a lady I sent this lady a quick text to let her know how delighted I was to meet her and that I looked forward to seeing her again. The lady replied saying she was happy to have met me but apologized that she had forgotten to brush her teeth after having a coffee before I arrived and that perhaps in future we both could remember to do so..... lol... yea this wonderful lady found a very polite way to let me know that I forgot the mouthwash. Well that first meeting with all it's hiccups has resulted in return visits to that wonderful lady and has I think benefited every other lady I see as I now keep toothpaste and mouthwash in my vehicle for use immediately before meeting anyone. I found "The Theory of Everything" to be quite astonishing. It's about Professor Stephen Hawking and his wife Jane. There were so many nuances, both emotional and physical, which the actors had to convey in order to bring the humanity of the story alive with sincerity. Not all of it could've been scripted. This is storytelling at its best. Not overacted but, very passionate. In particular the people here at CERB are likely to really appreciate this movie, because SPs and clients understand and work with the passion and pain of being human. Eddie Redmayne, who plays Professor Hawking, is remarkable. We see Hawking before the onset of Lou Gehrig's disease, through the beginning and up to the present-day. There are tiny little changes in his movements which are utterly imperceptible unless you are looking for them. The actor must've worked very hard with Professor Hawking in order to achieve this portrayal. The same can be said for Felicity Jones who plays his wife Jane. Indeed, it is likely that a documentary about the making of this movie would be similarly captivating. It is being quite a while since I've seen a movie like this. Highly recommended. PatrickGC

Agreed. Your whole post makes perfect sense. Very well written, with valid points. I will just try to answer your main question though. For most people I think that is enough information. Knowing if something is good or bad, high or low, right or wrong, is enough. I'd say the majority of people fall into this category. And then there are the few people, like me (and Manitoba I assume), who continuously question what these terms mean. High to you, may not be high to me, and vice versa. For anything. Not just this topic. I call myself analytical. I love to formulate my own opinions on things, and I question everything that people tell me (well actually not everything as people tend to hate to be questioned). I love to know why. I am new to this but I cannot understand why anyone would be dumb enough to try to negotiate to save $20 or $40. It shows a complete lack of respect for the ladies and I assume they would respond in kind. This is not like buying a car where it has become accepted practice. When I contract for a service such as hiring an indoor house painter (which I just did) there was no dickering over the price. I wanted exceptional service and I got it. Contracting for a lady's time is the same thing. If I accept her rate as is I hope I am going to be well treated by her. How would you negotiators feel if the lady upped her rate once you arrived at her place saying it is extra for this or that. I would leave. Finally I am a professional accountant and I charge $x an hour -- if you try to dicker me down you are a dick and I wont have anything to do with you. Just saying.

In a previous business, I got haggled to death almost every day. Depending on my mood, I either dickered or I raised my voice and said, "The price is low enough as it is.... F you and get the F out!" I feel your pain. There are things in life which you can negotiate, typically the purchase of significant tangible assets, but when it comes to services (mechanic, plumber, etc.), I don't negotiate because I figure they'll get the price they want one way or the other (if one were to dicker for a lower hourly rate, they'd just bill more hours). When it comes to services I go for reputation, not price. This industry is unique of course, but if you lower your asking rate once, you'll get caught in a downward spiral (the discounted clients won't see you again unless it's at the discounted rate, and even worse, they could spread the lowered rate they received to other potential clients, thus snowballing into a bunch of drama: "he got that lower rate, so why can't I?!). I'm just an average Joe, but when I play I prefer a quality experience, so I have no problem paying the posted rate. I go for quality over quantity. If I have to set aside spare cash for weeks on end, I'll do so. If I don't have the full required amount, that's my problem not hers, so I'll be patient and wait until the piggy bank's full again. Only you can decide your own policies. Anybody who haggles with me now gets a polite "I'm sorry, I can't do that" the first couple of times; if they keep pushing and they push the right combination of buttons, once in a blue moon I'll still explode (I'm getting mellower as I age though). And you want to F-ing know something!? It's the fckers with the BMWs and the Acuras who are the worst! The richer they are the more they think they deserve a special rate!

These days I have pretty much crossed over to doing primarily massage. While I'm still a companion, I have been on the receving end of negotiating in both areas. There seems to be an overwhelming sense of entitlement and a new generation of clients that I am not accustomed to. I would have to say it's with the youinger generation which is why I have an age restriction. I'm not in my 20's anymore and do not relate to this crowd. Nothing personal. I'm older. However, in my experience most do NOT take no for an answer when rates are quoted and stated as non-negotiable. Most men who are older say thank-you, accept it and move on. This is a luxury service we are offering. It is a want, not a need in terms of basic necessities in life such as food and shelter, etc. It's a want but some think it's a need. It's a desire and forgive me if anyone is insulted by this but if a person doesn't have the cash to play then that burden should NOT be put upon the lady. It is not our problem that a person only has X amount of dollars. Would a person go to a restaurant and say I only have x amount but you better give me that steak dinner I want so bad? No! It would never happen! This is a service industry and the same applies here. However, when one person starts doing it or someone is strapped for cash and feels they have to negotiate with a client to have their certain needs met, suddenly it becomes an expectation across the board. Well it's not. When I started in this business, that didn't happen and very rarely did men negotiate. Times have changed and so has this busness. It's not about booking time to spend with someone anymorte, it's all about what they can get, how fast and for how little the amount. Sorry but true! I've been around to see the trend go from one place to further downhill. It's like going to work one day similar to someone working on cash basis day to day and having the boss tell a person "Well I can only afford to give you X amount per hour instead." How would the person on the receiving end of that feel when they show up, ready for work and being told that? Not good! That person would know the work they're willing to do for a certain amount and if it's worth it or not. When someone tries to negotiate with me, I tell them rates, are non-negotiable and have a good day. Anything beyond that such as "Please, come on!" I don't respond to. I have been threatened because of my age restrictions and because I don't negotiate. I tell them to fill their boots buddy, take a hike and to grow the hell up. I have fixed my rates that are very fair for what I am offering and also in consideration to what is going on with the economy. I used to make X amount an hour. I don't anymore. I changed that BUT it was on MY own accord. I like to think that I have enough business sense to know what the market can bear that is alignment with what I am offering. I am at a happy medium with the rates I quote and if someone thinks that is too much well too bad. They don't know what they're missing. I could be charging a lot more for the service I offer. However, there is a line I won't cross when it comes to rates and that's my own perogative. I am a professional and always have been and my services and the experience I offer reflects that. If someone wants to dispute rates then they are just out for a deal. Many do it just for the sole fact of being able to attempt to do it. I don't bother with people like that and they are not in my target market either. I advertise myself as offering an experience and the clients I see value that. For many ladies, this is their livelihood and if a person wants to negotiate and the lady has to lose x amount of dollars, be prepared to lose out on something as well. It's only fair. You ALWAYS get what you pay for. I don't negotiate with clients because I would no longer enjoy my job and there would be resentment towards them. As a result, they wouldn't be getting the service that goes above and beyond in many respects. However, that would never happen because I don't work that way and would NEVER put myself in that situation to begin with. I would rather exit the business before allowing that to happen. As soon as guys start to negotiate, I get that uneasy feeling in my stomach and I wish them well. I don't want anything to do with it. And the bottom line is if x amount of dollars as low as $20 makes a huge impact on who they see then they can't afford to play. I would tell them they need it more than I do but with negotiaters I'm sure they don't need it nor will $20 actually put a dent in the budget. It's a thrill for them to get what they want.. because they can! I choose not to play their game.

I have noticed a few people trying to use these apps and I decline appts with them. I ask to call back for my safety before an appt is booked. If they have an issue with my number showing up on records, I tell them I will block it or I have a private number that is not tied with anything if the number were searched. I use it for those who need to be extra discrete for whatever reason. I will not give out location details esp if someone is trying to remain anonymous and esp if there is a good chance they don`t show up. And just an fyi, it shows up on my phone when someone is using these applications in several different ways or those weird area code google or skype numbers. I don`t respond to them. I always go by my intuition when speaking to someone and know within 20 seconds if I want to meet them or not. Someone trying to deceive me using these numbers will not get them anywhere. I may have been born in the night but not last night. lol. Until I meet a guest in person without incident, people inquiring are strangers to me so it`s a give and take.

Trust has to be established before any meeting and if you don't want to provide your number we don't have to visit. I don't provide my cell (and yes it is a REAL number and its not published anywhere in ads or anything related to this business) until we exchange numbers prior to confirming. If you don't like a ladies policies you don't have to visit her, but if you want to visit with her, you need to respect the policies she has in place - they are what keep her safe.
