5 pointsIm really sorry I don't like drama either - however it was my site you stole and I had it removed yesterday by your host. I have an email from your hosting company to prove it. As well the heartfelt apology you apparently sent me, was far from that. You are a grown woman and you are responsible for what you put on your website and ads - NO ONE else is. If you can't read and search the content of your website that someone makes for you, you should not use it. Because you STOLE my text WORD for WORD, it does affect my business as when people google the text you and I both come up - makes people wonder WHO copied WHO. As you said in your email, you don't see how this could affect my business... The fact you advertise in the same places as me and used stolen text on your site is low, apology or not the email you sent me yesterday is not even close to what you publicly posted today - thats like a slap in the face to me and everyone else you are trying to get sympathy from. You did wrong yet you make a fake apology to me then post this post here - don't you think I deserved the REAL apology? I have worked hard for 6 Years to brand myself and nothing makes me more upset that another woman stealing my hard work. Yes I'm upset and I have every right too, I was not going to make this business public here but as you seem to think it was ok too, Im entitled to my side of the story. I am in no way am attacking you, but if I stay quiet this crap will continue to happen.

4 pointsThis is ridiculous. You want to stay safe? Don't have sex. You want to take reasonable precautions to prevent transmission of something? Assume everyone has an STI and protect yourself accordingly. The end.

4 pointsTo whom it may concern\ I do not know if I am posting this in the right area but here goes I came out of retirement last year after a 3 year break,,my daughter was in a very bad car accident and i was dealing with that.I had a website built and I paid someone to do my website,i gave them my photos and a rough outline of things I would like said. They gave me the finished product and though it was not bad and never thought anything of it. Tonight i was informed it had been copied i had no idea and was shocked immediately i took down my website and should have a new one up in a day or so,a letter of explanation and a sincere apology was written to the lady and i carried on with my evening.I do not like drama so this is the last i want to hear of it or will speak of it I also out of curiosity googled my name it is unbelievabe the things that came up im on sites i never heard of things are written that are not true..welcome to the land of the internet \In short dont believe everything you read. sometimes bad business is good as it makes ppl look at you so i think of it like that To those who know me they will laugh as they all know i am horrible with computers so it can easily be understood how this could happen i am sure i am not the first i hope i have posted in the proper area alexoxox

3 pointsJenny, assault is a crime and the police will investigate. Whether you are an escort or not. It is not illegal to be an escort only illegal to purchase sexual services. Don't ever feel you cannot go to the police if you've been a victim of crime.

3 pointsThank you Emily and you are right I would feel the same and perhaps even more angry. But I don't have a horse in this race and can only read whats been posted so I have to accept whats been said by both of you. As I said, I think theft of anything is wrong and so is insincerity. If you are right then I am so very sorry for what you've gone through, truly and hopefully her conscience will cause her to rectify the situation at hand. If she is likewise, either way its a sad situation. This business is hard enough without having to deal with this type of thing.

3 pointsMy blog is public and anyone can read it.... An apology is one thing but when its full of lies, its no longer an apology. Alex chose to make this public on the general area of this board and I am entitled to my side as is anyone else. i did not post this publicly on here or my blog relating as it goes against the policies of airing dirty laundry. I am one however who does not tolerate liars and enough is enough. If it was your site that was stolen my another member of this board you would feel the exact same way Cristy, especially when what was emailed to you from the culprit is not even close to what she posted here. If you are adult enough to be a companion you are adult enough to be responsible for your site and ad content. Theft is theft, and blaming someone else for ones actions are wrong. Im all about forgiveness when it is genuine and heartfelt, not full of lies.

3 pointsHello Trans Girl in Guelph! Welcome here ;-) You might find it a bit difficult to know how to do things here at the beginning, but as Cristy said, after a while it will be easier, and it is worth it! Now, know that as you are a new member, and that your account is moderated, there are many things that you cannot do yet. But as time will pass, and if you participate to some discussions here, it will allow you to do more things. The rules can be overwhelming but they are here for good reasons ;-) Have fun!

2 pointsRadicalism should worry us all, no matter what religion or source it stems from. I think this is certainly an important discussion and one that should be of interest to this forum, especially and since the highest populous of Muslims are in Ontario and is growing fast as is the religion of Islam. I can't pretend to understand it completely, or any religion for that matter. As I'm a believer that all sentient beings are equal and should be treated so. What confuses me most is how we( North Americans) send men and women to fight against particular beliefs in other countries and then we allow citizens from those countries into ours in which they then are allowed to practice the same beliefs in the same way. Perhaps that's the democratic way, imo though, this is what causes radicals. As one religion, one group, will always feel their ways are the right ways and fight to lead. In these groups will always be the lonely, angry, directionless and violence driven, it is to them, regardless of age, that radicals prey. I don't know the answers to eradicating or controlling them, but I don't think the ones within the particular religion are best suited to. I think a perfect example of this would be our own government. I deem evangelical Christians to be radicals and look at what they've done to our laws and how they distort democracy. Perhaps the answers aren't within a particular religion, but in morale building. Perhaps we need to better understand humanity, it's needs and become better at promoting love, acceptance, willingness to share, etc. But that is expecting a lot.
-
2 pointsAs Cristy pointed out, extremism occurs in every major religion and there is a good chunk of Islamaphobia accompanying most stories of "terrorism" (including the OP's post). And yet, it is rarely pointed out that Timothy McVeigh was raised Roman Catholic or that he identified as agnostic because those facts are seen as irrelevant to why he bombed the Oklahoma federal building. If we treated McVeigh the same way we treat those terrorists assumed connected to Islam, we'd be railing on about the terrors of Catholic teachings. DID YOU KNOW THEY EAT THE BODY OF CHRIST?! I honestly think we have bigger issues to worry about than the potential for Canadian y*outh to be seduced by big bad Islam.

2 pointsTo make this issue about faith of whatever brand is to miss the entire problem this is an issue of radicalisms of islamic people around the world but it is not a religious issue. It is a political issue related to power and control... it has been happening for many many year but as long the Islamic radicals were just killing each other and were operating in areas of the world where the west had no strategic issue (ie no oil) we did not give a shit. Now this disenchantment by politically oppressed groups who are using religion as a rallying cry is important because the violence is in our back yard and affecting strategic areas. These political groups are using religion to reach out to people who feel oppressed to tell them that they are not alone and they have used very slick social media approaches that have caught the attention of youth in western countries who feel marginalized and unimportant. Do we really care about these few thousand radicals in western countries... No... our concern is that it is so much harder to fight terror from within then it is to bomb terrorists in other parts of the world. The issues in the countries where this radical approach is playing out Syria, Egypt, Iraq and a number of African countries are political and social issues and relate to the age old reason men fight wars... power and control. On the local front we need to support and encourage muslim leaders to continue to speak up and we need to look at t!he social and economic conditions that are creating fertile breeding grounds for the disenfranchised. This is not about religion Just my Opinion Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk

2 pointsI think the world has come to a point in history where the function and purpose of organized faith must be re-examined. (Perhaps for some for the very first time.) No longer can we afford to blindly adopted teachings of any sort with a verbatim application to life. This does not mean the loss of spiritualism, but rather, a refocusing of where the responsibilities lie. We must be, our own teachers for both the individual, the communities we live in and ultimately the world. This is a long-winded way of saying that the buck stops here on earth, with the good old human race and while we are all alive. A friend of mine asserted that: "We need religion in order to give us a moral direction." This statement, not so subtly implies that the human race needs a baby sitter and that we do not know right from wrong. I suggest, this belief was ingrained in early communities in order to control them, but that was a very different world and one that is unimaginable to the modern person. At this point in time we must find our own way and realize that the human race is indeed not in the center of the galaxy. We must grow up emotionally and not do the "right thing" because of some reward after death. Which is an inherently greedy motivation that usually backfires as current history will attest. Unfortunately, in the 21st century, people, groups and governments have come up with a new religion which once again takes responsibility for one's actions away from the individual [and people often do this willingly] it's called "Political Correctness". Different label, but on a social level it is the same animal. Again it takes responsibility away from the person. A placebo to make things comfortable for the moment. But rarely if ever solves anything. It can actually be used to do great harm but because an action is phrased in a nice politically acceptable tone people not only except it they may actually defend the action without thinking on a deeper level. Look at the crazy and insane arguments for Bill C-36. That is the phrasing of political correctness in action. In short: People must reengage their critical thinking and realize that there is no all-encompassing answer to simplify life. What we can do is be responsible for our own actions and the effect we have on others. The hereafter -- can we afford to be concerned about it, when there is so much in here and now which we can change for sure? A very interesting book on the issues raised in this thread and one which I highly recommend it is: "The End of Faith" by by Sam Harris. To be clear this is not just a believe bashing book. Rather, it asks much larger and broader questions about beliefs in general and all of the major religions are challenged as to their core motivations. I listened to the eight disk unabridged audio version. Here are the details for both printed and audio copies. PatrickGC

2 pointsI have two people with the same name I frequently text. Today I got a txt from my banker and worked out some arraignments. Then I had to txt a business partner some fine details on a venture we are putting together. I always text my partner in partial code rather then write things out. So as part of my code I asked my partner did he prefer a draft or c i m. Now reading that my banker if he is up on the latest lingo might wonder why I would ask him if he wanted c i m lmfao lol If he asks this will be hard to explain lol and c i m is cash in the mail lol

1 pointIf neither one of you like drama then why publicly post anything. I goolged Alex's name and I didn't see anything bad or nefarious, other than an idiotic comment from someone stating that an older sp shouldn't command a high rate. It appears that Alex has many followers, As does Emily. None of us who haven't seen any of the emails know what has been said, and those who follow each will believe and support that side. The rest of us have to accept what's been said and she's apologizing publically which takes guts, it doesn't appear to me an effort to gain sympathy. So perhaps it should be left at that. It's awful to have your work stolen, it's happened to a lot of us and many haven't received apologies of any kind.

1 pointHi Everyone, council has asked me to "TRY" a health forum out. The contents of this section are just discussions on health and wellness subjects and not published by doctors or heath care professionals (they could be if a member is a doctor or heath care professional but lets just assume not!) We don't want a forum just filled with paranoid questions either or any comments stating that someone specific has a illness. This section can be used to discuss everything heath and wellness related. Discussions must remain positive (same rules of the entire site) and please try not to pass on bad information. Discussions are NOT to mention anyone with any specific heath issues or to vent about someone you think may have an illness or to announce you caught mono or something else from someone!

1 pointI wouldn't worry too much if a reputable S P has different duo partners. It can provide variety. Many girls with one phone number is a different story IMHO or when they say to "ask for [insert name]."

1 pointNo matter the laws, economy, etc, there will always be gentlemen looking for companions, especially someone new. Yes things have changed, the key is to change with them. Follow the rules/laws, advertise well/often, present yourself in your most comfortable style, by that I mean find "you" know what type of clientele you'd like and market to them, in your own special way and as the law permits. Don't follow others styles, being true to yourself is always best. When business is good put away a nest egg, as this business is as up and down as a rollercoaster. Last but not least, enjoy those you meet, most of us are intuitive and can tell when we are wanted/liked, return clients are what keeps us going and imho, they are better than any reco's. I hope I've helped:) Any other questions, please feel free to pm:)

1 pointLook, the majority of reputable providers are just as concerned about their health as you are of yours. I'd posit that hobbying is safer than picking up at bars, dating sites, grocery stores, whatever. Getting HIV from oarl sex, whether giving or receiving, is minimal; trust me, I've been doing this for 25 years and every time I go to the STD clinic I come up clean, even for minor bacterial things. I've been eating professional pssuy from the very beginning.

1 pointI had to dig back in the files to find this thread again. I have been home now for weeks and am bored out of my mind. I feel bad for the ladies I talk to on a daily basis. And I would like to take a second to thank them from the bottom of my heart for putting up with all my bs. I hate my work so I'm not looking forward to going back in a week or two but I need some kind of excitement or entertainmen before I start microwaving stuff to keep me busy. I sat and talked to my dog the other day and I swear he looked at me like "shut the f up". I play a game online but cant sit and do that all day. Another thing I did a few days ago because I was so bored, while I had m dog out I turned my BBQ in the snow into a huge snowman giving the finger so when the mail man shows up it will be priceless. Another thing I am guilty of in my boredome is answering the telemarketers phone calls. I talked to some poor sap for 25 min about cleaning the vents in my home. #1 I dond have any vents #2 its not my place I rent it....he was a little pissed and I dont think they will call again. Lol Another fun thing I have been doing is hiding thing and scaring my kids at randome times. Today I was watching pranks on the internet....what will the next few days bring....hmmmmm...

1 pointFirst I must say thank you Carlosage, I had missed this thread and wasn't aware of your choices:) To answer your questions and speaking from a loners, woman's and companions point of view, yes we get lonely and one shouldn't be ashamed to admit it. I believe human beings need to be nurtured, interactive, touched and feel loved most of all. To know there is someone on this planet that has their best interests at heart. Without any of that it can be a very lonely place. Interaction with another person can certainly help appease loneliness, even when and especially if, that person is a stranger. Everyone's needs are unique. Everyone's loneliness is different. For some, seeing a paid companion could most certainly help. Paid companionship can be very fulfilling, it satisfies my lonely times. My loneliness comes from a need of male attention, and a need to be very open with someone, to be able to express the side of me I feel the need to hide from those I interact with daily. It's nice to share time with someone who wants to have fun, to meet someone new, to feel no pressures, to just let go without judgement or commitment. For a gentleman I think it's a wonderful opportunity as many of the ladies in this profession are so nurturing, non-judgemental, giving, caring human beings, part time therapists actually:) Who truly want to make another human being feel good while in their company. Now some may require more than this, they may need this on a continuing basis, a full time monogamous relationship, so seeing a companion may make feeling lonely, "lonelier" as they might continue to crave that attention. Only you know if this would work for you. We all have our own answers sometimes we just aren't asking ourselves the right questions. To answer your other question about divulging your "secret", should you fulfill it. That again is a decision only you can make. We all share what we want others to know and we all have to be our own judges as to how much that should be. Take the opinions of others lightly, listen but don't let what someone else thinks or does form yours, only you knows what is best for you. Sometimes you just have to take more time to think on it to gain your answer. As far as worrying about contracting something, you're as likely to with any human being that you become intimate with. Being in a particular profession doesn't make someone more likely to be a carrier. It's responsible to be concerned. It's irresponsible to be judgemental, just do your research:) and be happy:) you'll know in time what is best for you.

1 pointI agree I love it when a client makes me feel special and important and I try to make them feel that way also,,,but speaking from experience I have a lot I am 45 yrs old have had different businesses and have raised three children two of them have are on the road to being quite successful....how can I say it ......when I spend time with a gentleman as "alex" I am for the most part myself and real this is the place where I can be who I am as most if not all of my friends do not know that I do this......it stresses me greatly if the line is crossed,,but guess what in my real life I am the exact same way!!!so for me this is a perfect fit as its all I can give anyone...if I date someone out of this profession if they want to much I also stress greatly so for me this is who I am so I am greatful that I have the opportunity to enjoy this part of my life alexoxox

1 pointHmmmm This is a very interesting topic.I should be out riding but its raining so I am here and came across this thread. I can only speak for myself but I have made some really great friends in this profession. For myself I find it easier then dating so I do this by choice not be cause I have to.I do think it helps with loneliness if even for a brief couple of hours...everyone needs a human connection and to be touched and feel wanted and cared for. Different things happen in life that cause us to handle things differently or perhaps be more guarded. This is a good way to be held, have a human connection but yet still not have to completely open up until we are ready for that. 1 pointThis is a very common thing with the ladies... Always looking for the "Reason" the business gets slow at times and always looking for answers as to why they get no shows and cancellation more at different times of the year. Most NO SHOWS can be stopped by screening your calls properly. Use the Caller ID and CALL BACK the number to verify it. Most guys will not pull a NO SHOW on someone without having the decency to call and properly cancel if you have their number. They know that come appointment time one very upset SP is going to give them a call asking WTF! It's not 100% but it sure helps for those who screen calls. It also makes the call a little more safer as that phone number is now a connection between the guy and the lady... I doubt someone dangerous is going to want to leave a number that can be traced back to them. Most of the ladies look for reasons when things are slow. I guess most of us do that when the business we are in takes a drop in sales/traffic/work load/etc.... You can spend a good portion of your day trying to figure this one out but it's not really worth the effort. It's WAY easier to just plan for these lows (Put some money aside for the slow periods) and just accept that this is part of EVERY business and it will happen. Stop stressing out and trying to point a finger at what you think is causing the slowness as your just going to convince yourself of something that is probably not correct. We have been tracking patterns in this industry since 1996 and the answer for this is... (Drum roll please)... It has no pattern EXCEPT for a few obvious LOW spots. 1) The end of Aug is SLOW every year! (Kids out of school, getting ready to go back to school, family summer vacations, etc...) This is the most popular summer weekend in the tourist industry!! 2) 1 week before and 1 week after Xmass (No need to explain this one right?) New years day too? NOT... 3) January/February for 2 weeks every year (We sum this up to winter blues and getting your credit card statements from Xmass! but we never know what two weeks it will be but for sure 2 weeks around this time it does drop... one year we did not see this and come April we saw a real low drop for 2 weeks and that was obvious weather patterns (Long winter/early spring ... warm winter/cold spring etc...) it does effect this business and you never know when this is coming exactly... so just put some cash aside for these times. 4) First nice weekend of spring (A lot of the ladies take this time off too) 5) Thanksgiving, Easter, Valentines, long weekends, really large sporting events (etc)... they also effect the business. The rest has NO identifiable pattern. You can try to blame it on the economy as a low economy brings more people into this business causing more competition and the overall amount of "Recreational money" the guys have gets a lot smaller so yes the economy does effect it but a low economy BUT it also brings more guys (New guys) in to the mix as well so it's not hit as hard as one would assume. Remember money and sex are the two big things couples fight about... When the economy drops and the money gets tight the stress levels go up, the fighting between couples goes up and the sex stops!! FACT OF LIFE... and I hate to admit it but that is good for this business for all you ladies!! When economy starts to get good again business will decrease a little at first! It's OPPOSITE of what everyone ASSUMES! As for NO SHOWS... This time of year it will obviously be higher. Kids are still home from school, Family vacations, relatives coming for visits, back to school shopping, etc.. etc... and all those people taking time OFF work for family vacations makes other people have to work more (Overtime to cover shifts, higher work loads, etc) it's all relevant.... A lot of LAST MINUTE things come up this time of the year for the "Family Man" and well... kids and family (for most people) come first so recreational visits take a back seat so stuff will get canceled more this time of year. Picture this... The guy is all ready to come see the lady he has chosen and the door bell rings and it's his brother or uncle or who knows who just "DROPS BY" for a visit... URH!? Probably with his annoying kids and wife... (Many of us have been in similar situations) This happens EVERY YEAR... Come September 17th (Or around that time) once the kids are back in school and the routine is back... things will pick up. Summer sucks as a lot more things can get in the way or throw a guys schedule off. Don't spend all your time looking for reasons why the business slows down.... it happens to EVERY PROVIDER & EVERY BUSINESS ... It can not be busy 100% of the time and it does take a little planning and anticipation.
