As a Habs fan I have seen this happen when we were down 3-0 to the Bruins, Yes it is possible confidence builds with each win, hands on the hockey stick get tighter on the other team trying hard to win the fourth game so I am hoping Montreal wins in four I respect the Ottawa team enough to think this a little.

Quite frankly with what I've seen of governments lately, here and the US, I would be fearful of being licensed. While it may start out with good intentions, that licensing gives power to whatever collective holds the information. If it's government run and a shift occurs, that license information could end up being a "round up" list or a "monitor" list. Also, with this type of thing, the control of the information would be out of your hands. Would it be classified or public record. Would your real name be associated with it or could you use a 'screen name'. Until there is a great shift in the perception, stigma and reality surrounding sex work, I doubt I would feel safe and protected in a licensed situation. This on top of already mentioned issues associated with travel, leaving the industry, not being able to afford licensing etc.

Forgot to update that we did take the trip this past winter. The visit to the breath-taking Columbia Icefield, the scenic drive on the Icefield Parkway, the encounter with wild animals like the Bighorns sheep/Rams on the Parkway, and the skiing at Marmot Basin, are spectacular and profoundly memorable. Next on the to-visit list will be Banff and Lake Louise - with my lovely Lyla lady, of course. :icon_biggrin:

With our record (Habs) in Ottawa over the last 10 games it should be an easy victory tonight for the Sens. I have one big concern for the Sens the Habs are getting full commitment from all four lines in both ends of the rink. Add in the balanced scoring we got the first two games plus great defence and having the best goalie in the league at the top of his game all leads up to the Habs winning one of the games in Ottawa. I would not be surprised if we have two more OT games in Ottawa. Go Habs Go Big wins for the Islanders and Chicago this afternoon, two very good hockey games.

Something to keep in mind. Not all ladies who have no recommendations have them (well don't have them LOL)because of bad service or ripping off clients. One highly respected companion (now retired) for a time wanted no recommendations written due to personal circumstances in her life. But she was an excellent companion. And definitely recommendation worthy. But she didn't want recommendations posted of her dates. Second there may be new ladies just starting in this business. And they have no recommendations/reviews. Does that mean until they get a recommendation you should assume bad service or she ripped off people. Pretty unfair assumption Third not all reviews/recommendations are accurate. You are getting the opinion of a "board handle" one for the most part you don't know. I can think of one lady highly reviewed, and she was one of the six worst ladies I met. And I recall a review of another lady (on another board), a bad review. Done by a guy who reported what he heard from another guy who had a friend who saw the lady. In short a third hand review by a guy who never even met the lady. The lady btw I have met and she was a great companion. Finally every encounter is between TWO people. Yes you may have had a poor or fair encounter, but how much of it was due to a lack of chemistry/connection between you and the lady. And I'm sure the ladies understand that, which is why ladies don't blacklist guys after a lacklustre date. If the client is a bad date (ie pushes boundaries, poor hygiene, haggles etc) he likely is reported, but if he does everything right, just no connection, the lady won't blacklist them. So likewise, some guys need to realize a date, no matter how "perfect" both try to be, still needs a connection/chemistry to be good. And no matter how many reviews/recommendations posted by an anonymous board handle, at the end of the day, it still is the two people having the date who either have chemistry or not. And that determines whether a date is good or not One last point. It is surprising how many ask for recommendations/review on ladies, but don't write any recommendations on encounters they've had. Personally, I don't use recommendations to decide who I want to see. That said I do write them because it is a) a public way of saying thank you to a lady for a wonderful time together, and b) it may help the lady in her business by telling guys of a lady to see, and the opposite side of that coin, c) it may assist guys in helping them choose a wonderful lady to see And to me, part of being on this board is not just as a consumer of information, but as a contributor too Writing recommendations is a way to contribute to this community A rambling RG

Montreal - Ottawa, Game 3 and this time in Ottawa. I went to a game there last year and its a great venue. I hope the game is as fast and good as intense as the last two were. As someone who tours full time, I will say this. Not one city is any better than the rest, they all have their flaws in some way shape or form. Some have high rates of no shows, others WOTS. Some are hard to get to, others are full of hagglers. You have to take the good with the bad. To me that is the great company I am fortunate to enjoy - it makes everything better. Every city has something different to offer and its about finding out if it's good fit for the lady travelling. No amount of advertising or interest will prove if its a profitable place until you have visited on a few occasions. The days of showing up in a city and making fantastic money on a first trip are few and far. Many men have been ripped off or had bad experiences and they are more leery to book. In this biz to travel now a days you need to spend the money to make money. I travel everywhere, as I said I would visit all of Canada before I retire and well Ive almost done that. As for clients, they vary for different reasons and none I wish to publicly repost here (search will bring them up) in this thread, Ive done so in other posts on the no shows and time wasters in a few sections and my views still remain the same in that. Every lady is different and how she conducts her business will vary and that will attract the clientele she chooses to book with. Any city can be a great city, however quite a few places have been wrecked in this business and its very sad. Any city can be a wonderful place to work, its how you choose to market yourself.

I find it funny when I read on some review boards that the session felt rushed and she was a clock watcher when they only booked for 15-30-45-60 minutes. I mean, isn't it the time they paid for? If you feel like you need longer not to feel rushed or you would like to spend more time with the lady, by all means, book a longer session. I also think there's a huge difference between someone reserving a lady's time for 30 minutes and finishing on time versus booking an extended dinner date and going over. If I offered sessions of two hours or less, especially the short ones under an hour, I would definitely finish the appointment on time with the expectation of being compensated for the extra time (for example, 30 minutes). Basically, the longer the session booked, the more flexible I am with my time, within reason. Jenny, don't let people intimidate you or push you around by saying you're being a clock watcher.

Just had a thought. Let's reverse the situation and ask the same question. Would you as a client, who I assume values discretion, send a picture of your face to a complete stranger who may or may not end up meeting you? Be sure to send a pic. everytime you get asked to!

Something that I find a turn off is when one companion pronounces her opinion of how other companions conduct their business publically on a board like this. Every lady has a business model that works for them. To publically make comments and posts as if there is one "right" way to do things and thus by extension every other way is wrong, and their way is the only right way. True story: A gent once gave me an envelope and when I counted it, there was $100 too much. I told him so and he took it back. Now if I notice extra money in the envelope, I just say thank you. The only time I ever wished clients tipped more was when I worked for an agency and I wasn't keeping the entire fee.

There has being times when I haven't tipped or brought a gift, I do try to book if possible a visit more than a hour. If possible at the time when meeting someone travelling to Island I have given a Bridge Pass to help with expenses plus a small gift like something from the Island i.e. Anne of Green Gables Chocolates. As I have mentioned at present I do have a regular here in Charlottetown, I feel pretty lucky so I try to Surprise her with a gift when I can. So far it is mostly Gift Certificates plus a certain kind of Chocolates. As you you can see with all the replies everyone treats tipping a little different.

There are fakers and scammers everywhere but I can tell you that before classified ads like CL and BP, there weren't as many as there are now. As soon as these sites came onto the scene, that's when some women who thought because they had a cell phone and throw up an ad and the ability to rent a hotel room that they were now considered ;in the business. It was never like that before. Most ladies started out with an agency and many moved onto establishing an independent presence. Not just put up an ad and now they're ready for hire so to speak. As soon as people starting using classified ads, no longer was the escort industry a taboo thing with their own websites. Now you could buy tires and a "date" in the same place. Without that kind of exposure, the adult industry remained more out of the day to day public eye. </p> And before anyone claims im putting down new ladies, understand that if these classified ads didn't exist, I don't think they would be as much bait and switch. Sure there are new girls who put in the effort but how many are out there thinking they can make x amount of money without putting a lot of work into it? Or worse, some ladies not being able to make their own choices as to who they can and can't see when it comes to clients. And the worst is a guy going on a site with reservations and hoping it will be the same girl in the picture and not have a big dude hiding behind the door waiting to rip a person off. These sites are so mainstream now that some people are in it just to scam people and that's it! Sorry but it's true. It didn't happen this way when a new girl entered the business or scammers passing through ripping off clients who want to just meet someone nice. Didn't work like that and in the last couple of years has gone downhill. There is no more effort anymore. Throw up a classified ad and you're now in the business. Everything is instant gratification and times it's like pulling teeth to try and get some guys to take a look at a lady's website and being told to eff off because they don't have time. It is known that I'm not a fan of BP. I tried it yesterday for the first time in 8 months and wanted to rip my hair out. I guess you could say I'm from a different escorting era.

Booking an hour minimum with a lady and after the quick introduction and shower and clothes removed she proceeds with a great BJ so good that I know I'm about to blow my load and ask her to slow it down a bit she agrees and 30 second later goes back at it to finish the job.
