8 pointsThank you for all of your input on this topic I do appreciate it This individual is not a Lyla member This has been happening on another site And I do agree with not entertaining the situation and just laying low on it for now I am one for positive vibes and making positive connections and for us as women being there for each other and empowering each other especially in this industry
-
7 pointsI agree with everyone here, you should be the better person. Avoid reading or acknowledging any of their comments, and try not having it get to you (Easier said then done I know). No point taking the bait and escalating the situation. Eventually they will come off looking unprofessional. Without a reaction it should all go away in due time, hopefully. The Best course of action is if they get a lawyers letter for slander, but that may not be possible or practical all the time. Regarding Ice4fun's point, I agree that we should be challenging bullies, but this type of bullying should be dealt with a bit differently... in my humble opinion. -
-
7 pointsI will choose my thoughts and words very carefully as I too can relate to this situation. Whether it is done online and even via email or PM's, we either always see/read it or get told about what slanderous things are being written or said. It is very hard not to respond online or contact that person. We are human and the first thing when someone attacks us is to defend ourselves. What I have learned is you can't have a civil conversation with someone of that mentality and it's like communicating with a rock. It does make you question their motives and want to ask why but truthfully in my experience it's useless to even bother. You have a wonderful community of friends, fellow companions who also understand and have dealt with being the target of simply put a mean spirited person. You know who you can confide in and that you have a safe place to vent, there is no denying that these things are hurtful and upsetting. Don't ever let someone try to break your spirit and that is what I feel the motive in my situation among other distasteful things was and currently is based on. You are an amazing, beautiful, kind person and keep your head held high, do not give anyone that type of power over you and shake it off. Easier said, I know but this is beneath you. The best thing you can do is ignore and contact the sites where this slander and harassment is being posted to have it removed. This is cyber bullying and a crime. All my love!! xoxo
-
5 pointsTake the high road and ignore them. Karma will come around and bite them in the ass!!!
-
4 pointsI would suggest you take the high road and not discuss it (ie names etc) publically on Lyla. If you see a post on Lyla use the Report Abuse icon so Mod can deal with the post If on other boards, the site likely has a similar mechanism to report offensive posts. But giving public attention to the comments actually works counterproductively, it gives life to this person's trash talk Now if the talk falls in the realm of libel, contact a lawyer...but again, keep it between you, the lawyer and the writer of the libelous material. If obsessive writings, as in stalking, contact the police It can be frustrating but should be kept off the board Good Luck RG

4 pointsAs the creator of this thread it was about time I posted a highlight, not that I haven't had any but this kind of highlight when no one else is involved and remind me how happy I am are the ones that make me want to share with everyone so here it goes ... My cleaning/getting things organized day became my dancing around my place day (not in my underwear this time though) I put music on to get inspired to clean and I got inspired but not for what I had planned and then for some meditation, at least I did put some stuff away ... There's always time to take care of other things but taking care of the soul should always come first so I don't consider it time wasted :) Now I have to get off my butt and start doing the housework!!
-
3 pointsNortherOntGuy's advice is probably wise but more and more I am starting to think we should be challenging the bullies who hide in the shadows and make peoples lives unbearable ... they do it because they can get away with it. Just my Opinion

2 pointsHad the good fortune earlier this week to revel in an hour-long training duo with Julia and Skylar Heart. What a bounty of blondes they were together! Their interaction was wonderful to see and their teamwork in the shower and during my massage was wonderful to feel. As I have already recommended Skylar elsewhere (and continue to hold her in high esteem) in this post I am concentrating on Julia's contributions to making this such a remarkable experience. Julia came into the room and introduced herself with confidence and charm. She is a breathtakingly beautiful woman and she engaged easily in conversation with me. She disrobed effortlessly and my eyes found it easy and rewarding to travel up and down her tall, lean frame from the toes to her face and her flowing blonde hair. Her legs are long and held my attention. Her fingers are also long and she used those quite professionally and pleasurably to massage both Skylar and myself. Julia has some body jewelry which serves to accentuate her taut abdomen and breasts. Julia sensitively found what would maximize the experience for me and engaged fully in all the activities which occurred over the hour. I enjoyed her personality and was aware of her presence and participation every minute from her introduction to her final hug. Although Julia is new to massage, and has only just completed her training, I recommend her to you unreservedly. She has a great MA career in front of her. I was privileged to share some time with her and hope to do so again in the future.

2 pointsQuickly searched the boards and was surprised to find no mention of this. Highly recommended read for: -Exceptional clients (clients with special needs/accommodations) -Providers looking to understand why accommodations are necessary and how to deal with them. -Providers looking to understand the holistic nature of their craft There are many resources out there, the majority of which are academic in nature and plagued by meticulous vernacular. Give Don Shewey a read. He has published a series of articles related to the subject. He describes an SI as follows: I like to say that sacred intimates combine the roles of priest, prostitute, and psychotherapist. In other words, they approach sexuality with the understanding that it's related to soul work and to spirituality. They use mindfulness and integrity to help people identify, embrace, and practice desire as holy, sexual embodiment as an expression of the soul. They hold the body as sacred and view erotic energy as a crucial component of human life and spiritual health. Their primary intention is that of healing -- and by healing I mean not just addressing the wounds to the spirit and the flesh caused by sexual abuse, addiction, or disease but also acknowledging that the fun and the pleasure, the vitality and the divine mystery of sex have nourishing properties in and of themselves. That's a message that easily gets lost in a culture that is as ambivalent or sex-negative as ours. Sacred intimacy has a relationship to sex therapy as it developed in the second half of the 20th century with the work of Masters & Johnson and Helen Singer Kaplan, who performed a great service by bringing accurate information about sex to the American public and developed effective treatments for sexual disorders. Sacred intimates may or may not treat dysfunctions, and they generally work from a wellness perspective, not fixing problems but encouraging and expanding sexual joy. Although it would seem like psychotherapy is the field most appropriate for sexual healing, in practice many psychotherapists are terrified of dealing with sexuality, either because they have their own unresolved sexual conflicts or they are afraid of legal liabilities. How often do psychotherapists acknowledge that they themselves have sex lives? How often do they share information about erotic resources or facilitate detailed explorations of masturbation or sexual fantasies? Today psychotherapists are intensely focused on boundaries and shy away from sexuality lest they be perceived as provocative, seductive, or harassing. However, it's possible that deflecting or avoiding sexual issues reinforces shame and cultural repression" Taken from Don Shewey's article "The Sacred Intimate-- An integrative approach to sexual healing"

1 pointJust wanted to say that after being on Cerb for 4 years and meeting many SP's and MA's over the years that I have learnt a lot about the women who have chosen the is path as a career. Most of them have chosen this career because they enjoy the independence and financial freedom that it can bring. But this job is not easier. Many of them have families or kids to support. University educations that they are trying to complete. This job is demanding as it involves many hours of marketing, emailing, posting ad's answering text and PM's. Trying to get hotel, schedule appointments. The women who are most successful at this job are the one's that truly enjoy their work and like to please their clients. I've met many of these women and have truly enjoyed my time with them time and again. This can be a stressful time as they need the time to prepare the room and prepare themselves for each encounter. Some day's it can busy and other day's not. Some day's they meet some really fun gentlemen and other days, maybe some creeps. Some have been robbed, or beaten up or cheated. Sometimes there no shows or other girls that make fake appointments. This is a hard job. Sometimes it is physically demanding. They give their most intimate moments. It takes a certain kind of woman to handle the emotions and sexual activities that this job may entail. One SP, told me that it's not the physical aspect that is tiring. But the emotional aspect. To be able to pretend to enjoy themselves when they are not. She was saying that in this job she had to be the giver all the time and that most of the men were takers. Her Job was to give them pleasure and most men just used her to get as much pleasure for themselves. These women deserve more, they deserve to be treated kindly and with respect. Respect their time and their contact protocol. Be a gentlemen and be clean. Do not try to negotiate their rates, or push them for more then they are willing to offer. Give them a massage to start, make it about them in the beginning. They may have had a hard day, and appreciated a little kindness and tenderness and relaxation. Talk to them, they are people also, not just objects of your lust. Treat them well and with respect and kindness. I've been told by them, that it doesn't matter how old or what you look like. As long as you are a gentlemen and clean, you will be treated well. Remember, that they are there to make you happy and are providing a very intimate service, so you should appreciate they company they provide. If the chemistry and connection are there, you will have a great time. If the connection is real, it pays to return for repeat sessions. I have repeated many times with many of the women, and have found that each session get's better and better, as you get to know each other and are more relaxed with each other. I have had several good friendships developed over the years and have maintained them. Just wanted to say this to thank you to the women of Cerb for the fun and kindness that they have given us men over the years. I hope to meet many more of you over the next few years if I can :) Remember guys. Be a gentleman, be clean and respectful and you shall be rewarded. Oh yeah, one more thing. The woman should always cum first :)

1 pointThere are many yuks about our way of life, our expressions, our habits. All laughs seem to come from our American neightbours. Can't blame 'em. We are a funny bunch, aren't we? Had some very friendly experiences in the UK. They seem to like us for some reason. What makes you Canadian? Do you like being polite? Do you say "sorry" every 2nd word? Do you end every sentence with "eh"? Can you hide being Canadian? Can you disguise being Canadian by wearing sunglasses? I can't hide it apparently. People can see my Canadianess from outer space. Oh well eh. Americans can't believe we don't lock our doors or have bars on our windows.

1 pointI have used Mirage and enjoyed my experience. I don't believe they ever advertise on here, although I may have missed it. They are very professional and easy to deal with. I used to use Pink Kitty. I haven't used them in awhile. They kinda disappeared and now they're back, but none of their current ladies really appeal to me, so I haven't tried them recently. But the women were always nice.

1 pointI laughed when I read this thread as just the other evening when I went to a movie someone had bumped into me and I said sorry, lol. However, I have many American relatives and haven't really ever noticed a difference between our behaviors. I think people are people and in most cases reactive. If you're nice they'll be nice, be rude and that's likely what you'll receive back. I am happy to be Canadian though:)

1 pointIt has been clearly shown that a healthy sexual appetite and sex life lead to over all better health. In studies with men it's been shown that having sex at least once a week leads to less heart related incidents, better over all immunology, better physiological health and better coping skills, as it alleviates stress . So with all this being true why aren't doctors supporting sex workers? Many of their patients are single, some are attached with spouses unable to give their partners sex, others for various reasons aren't getting it at home. So where do they expect these people to go to get their healthy weekly interactions? The bar, a dating site, the grocery store? Many don't want a relationship, many just need the occasional boost with a trusted, clean individual, which in my mind is a respected sex worker, right? What hypocrisy for our government as well to take a stand against them. If they want their citizens to be healthy, well rounded individuals. Sex is a needed function of our bodies, we are meant to have it. Isn't it time many started thinking more openly and realistically about how and where one gets it. Realistically sex workers are healers in many cases, not only for the physical benefits offered but by some but also the mental benefits. Many sex workers are unbiased easy to talk to understanding people that can be confided in, much like other professionals. So if we are all to be healthy then sex workers need to be added to the list of health professionals, that's how I see it:)

1 pointWhat I've noticed especially about living in Ottawa as opposed to other cities ( lived in Toronto for a while) is that we are more considerate by holding the door when going in or out of a store or letting someone through in traffic. In my past experiences, when Americans realized I lived in Canada, they either think you live in an igloo or are very friendly because they've spent time here and know how we are as a whole. I've heard from ladies who toured there that American men like when they come down to visit. I remember watching a piece when I was going to school hosted by Rick Mercer ( This Hour Has 22 Minutes) "Talking to Americans". Apparently George W. Bush didn't know much about us either. lol. I'm not bashing Americans but just found it humorous. Prime Minister Tim Horton.. LMAO! Going to France, they like Canadians there as well. I've been to Germany and had a good experience there as well as a Canadian. We're like another version of neutrality. We are like Switzerland!

1 pointIt's that look in her eye, the movement of her touch, that's able to corrupt you into thinking of all sorts of lustful thoughts, when those thoughts were the furthest thing from your mind just a few short seconds before.
-
1 pointWell we can agree to disagree. It goes to interpretation. You and a few others read it as being one thing I read it as simply a comment. I then stated my turn off. To close a thread though because some interpret a post differently isn't necessary, but I'm not the one who decides either.

1 pointI think of seduction as the ability for an individual to cause another to fall under their "spell" via their sensuality, charms, looks, or something special that has caught that persons attention. To cause someone to want you in a physical way. It can be a dance of chemistry and connection. To be seduced by someone is to be intrigued by, attracted to and cause a need to have. It is best when it happens naturally but many will use their wiles and ability to seduce to get what they want. I can't say that I've ever been seduced nor have I tried to seduce, although I've been by told some that some of my pictures do that on their own:)

1 pointEnd of Regulation Time with HABS and Lightning tied at 1... both goaltenders playing Great... you can't beat overtime hockey in the playoffs. Unfortunately the Lightning score early in the second overtime to win Game 1... That means both Canadian Teams are down a game in round 2... time to turn it around in Game two.

1 point"Seduction isn't making someone do what they don't want to do; seduction is enticing someone into doing what they secretly want to do already" Benjamin T. Russell Whether it be through delightful, thought provoking conversation, holding hands while taking a stroll along the beach or that brief moment before your lips touch and your hands caress each other for very first time. I think the secret is the ability to let down ones guard willingly without judgement or reservation. Jas.
