Ottawa police say 11 women will be deported after a human trafficking investigation into commercial massage parlours and body rub facilities. Police say they investigated 20 locations from April 27 to 29 resulting in 11 bylaw charges for improper licensing. Canada Border Services Agency also detained 11 women for immigration-related matters who appeared for admissibility and detention hearings last week. Removal orders were then issued for each woman. All 11 were found to be working without a valid work permit, police said. No criminal charges were laid but police said the border services investigation continues, which could spark more charges. I see so many posts on forums like this that talk about the first words from a potential client. It absolutely boggles my mind how many guys just won't take a minute to introduce themselves properly. They go right into negotiations or asking extremely explicit questions about services without so much as a hello. Then have the nerve to get angry when you ladies show offense to this behavior. Every time I read this thread, there are more stories of this. I think this has been touched on many times too but guys that don't read. You ladies take the time to post an ad here and elsewhere, pay for said ad, carefully explain what you will or won't discuss as well as specific instructions on contact procedures (i.e. "first time clients please use booking form on my website"), yet guys shoot you a text with, "yo baby, you available?" or "How much?" It is enough to make a persons head explode like the opening scene in "Scanners". Ladies, God luv ya for putting up with guys whose brains are somewhat south of the equator on a good day.

Tapatalk was, in my opinion, just a much easier (and quicker) way to access forums. Always out performed the browser for me by a wide margin. And most forums aren't very optimized (if at all) for mobile browsing. For a user who followed various forums, it was even easier. That said, I stopped using them quite a while back. I didn't like the way they did business and they earned a place on my "Do not trust" list. Some forum admins refused to install as well due to security concerns. Just a quick comment, not directed at you Danielle, but mentioned because you pointed it out. There may be competition in this business. But ladies really aren't in competition with other ladies. This is always a losing battle. In every business bad companies and/or people will always exist. While it is frustrating, there is nothing you can do. People will do some pretty low down and dirty things to get ahead but it won't be for long term. These people will be exposed as those who aren't good to do business with and the more they scheme, the more they think they can get away with it. Their arrogance towards what they think they are getting away with will ALWAYS trip them up eventually but one day they will meet their match. I won't get into the specifics of what some people do to get clients ( i.e undercutting) as that has been a sore subject for me in the past and have had to let it go. Like yourself, I am experienced in this business and have seen the changes before my very own eyes. However, like I said people who are unsavory do not stick around long term in the business or any business for that matter. The fly by nights will always only have short term gain and have to keep moving. The ones who win are those business people who focus on themselves and what they have to offer to their clientele. It is inevitable by doing so will garner them a favorable reputation. In the long run this will work in your favor and on your terms that your clients will respect. There may be clients who go and see these type of business people and lose money in the short term because they are thinking they will be getting a good deal or the situation looks appealing but there is always a caveat with the crowd you mentioned and that is the examples you listed above. Focus on yourself and who you want to attract. By maintaining the positives in your business, there will be no choice but to give back what you have projected to your clientele. I promise by doing so, it will come back in a very nice way that is always surprising. ;)

I agree! I have a throw away phone for work to keep costs down so it doesn't even have an image plan but I've got a good phone at least. I tell them this to those guys who ask for this sort of thing. What I do to keep these people at bay is like you said with the positive energy. When there is something I don't want, I will rephrase my comment about this in my ad. I should probably update my website too. lol. Instead of saying "I will not give out pictures on request", I will say "The pictures on my ad and/or website are the only ones I have. I take it you know from your previous comments that you know what you put out is what you attract when you mentioned positive vibes, etc. When a person says they don't want something, that's all the universe hears and it will give you that exact match. So I think it and rephrase in a way that it comes back to me favorably. The same with negotiating. Instead of saying "Rates are non- negotiable", I say "Rates are Firm". By doing this, it has cut down on the WOTS including the ones who ask for pictures. lol. "Rates are Firm" or "Pictures are only available on website/ads" is a more positive one that will attract the clients who respect this. I study law of attraction way too much often listening for a few hours everyday lol but it has helped me significantly in terms of maintaining a positive attitude and as a result has changed every aspect of my life. I still have my moments but they are less now and I'm able to deal with it a lot faster.

I honestly think bad apples are not on Cerb or not here for a very long time. Most ladies/agencies have built excellent reputations here. AND, thanks to Cowboy Kenney, many bad apples are weeded out on those other sites. We're very lucky to have him here. I love Cerb ladies and agencies.

A lot of spam detection works by assigning a reputation score to other mail servers; if a server starts sending spam, its reputation goes down, and when it gets low enough everything from that server gets blocked. Once the server stops spamming then its reputation will begin to recover, but it may take some time before it rises high enough that mail from that server gets through again, and different mail services may have different thresholds.
