Monastat may take care of the itchiness but will not take care of the real issues if you have an sti. For the sake of this community , go see a doctor, please. WORST case scenario if you have a yeast infection or something, they tell you to continue to use monastat. If you have STI, you save numerous people to potentially be exposed to it.

I regard this apparently new standard to be better, and really have always abided by it, it is a matter of being in tune with the other on a new level. Should there be more conversations on consent and less assumptions? Also, considering the impact of C36 and the non legality of discussing anything sexual in relation to the industry, could this then become a fighting point against this bill as it limits the ability to openly discuss consent? Yes, you can still discuss it in private but is it infringing on the right to discuss it where and when one feels comfortable? Any other thoughts surrounding this?

If they do read into it that it is representative of all providers isn't that their problem? Anyone who assumes any comment as "all encompassing" isn't about to be convinced otherwise and I would think would be the type to generalize most things. Human interactions can be complicated even when carefully selected and screened. I think no matter what some read they'll already have their preconceived notions and opinions formed anyways. As with all relationships communication, imo, is the key. Especially when concerning consent and what each partner is comfortable with. I believe consent goes hand in hand with respect. First to deal with Traci's question regarding male consent... well to be honest until you mentioned it I never really considered it... As I think back about the encounters I have had over the years I don't recall a time when the activities initiated by the lady have been unwelcome by me.. I appreciate that I am a pretty open guy so most likely even if i was surprised by the activity I most like would be ok with it. I do think that my choice of ladies that I have seen may play a part in this whole thing as well as my general desire to connect with a lady during a visit. In terms of the ladies I choose to see they tend to be very reputable well reviewed ladies who are experienced in the industry and normally want some discussion on what type of experience I am looking for this prior discussion while not normally a menu based discussion does sort of pair a picture of the type of experience and therfore as long as the activities stay within this general area then I would think consent was implied by the continuing with the booking. In regards to my looking for a connection in my encounters I think this tends to manifest itself initially in the encounter with a longer period of chatting at the start of the encounter and this often sets the tone. I read the article posted by Berlin that contained the concept of "enthusiastic consent" with great interest... Is enthusiastic consent necessary in my opinion probably not in most cases... I think people engage in sexual activity for many reason and that it is wonderful when both parties are Enthusiastic about their involvement I can think of lots of occasion when it might just be a part of their relationship that they willingly consent to even if not enthusiastically. In the case of this industry I think it would be silly to expect that every engagement involves "enthusiastic" consent especially on behalf of the provider. I would hope the client was enthusiastic or else why is he making the booking but let's be honest this is a business relationship so while there certainly should be willing consent there is no requirement for enthusiastic consent. The lady is providing or fulfilling a fantasy so of course her behavior should seem enthusiastic engagement as she is creating an environment for her client. Of course there is some risk in all of this... us men want the fantasy of enthusiastic engagement and to be made feel that we are, even if for just the duration of the appointment, the most important thing in the ladies day. If the lady or for that matter the client crosses the line from business enthusiasm into feelings that this is real then bad outcomes can happen so it is important that both parties not encourage the idea that there is more to it than a business arrangement if they don't really believe there is. @CasinoMIng while I totally understand your points I assume (and hope) they're from an outsider meaning you don't have someone too close to you with this kind of illness ,from my perspective (an insider) it all boils down to one word which is actually in the title of this thread: Awareness, from both society and the person with the illness. It is true that in general these illnesses are not always given the importance that is needed in order to fight them but to use the same analogy you used, if someone who needs surgery refuses to get it done and instead leave with that problem then there's nothing anyone else can do. As a relative of someone who has a mental illness and whose direct family have dedicated their lives to try to help him and even suffer from aggression (physical and mental) I can tell you that is not always society's fault or lack of interest and in this case like many others is not friends or family who are ashamed but the person with the illness who asks them to keep it private and yes, this maybe because others have treated them poorly but just thought I'd point that out. I've also met the other side of the coin, people who are screaming for help but whose friends and family just don't see the extent of the problem/situation so the information and sources are out there, oh and yes, I've also seen those who don't even accept they have an issue (we all do) so IMO the real problem is lack of awareness/acceptance which is ignorance but that doesn't mean there's no sources just like the ones for a patient with a broken leg or in need for surgery. And speaking of sources, here's a Facebook group where they constantly post articles and useful information.

Them damn racoons are back and very bold. They never come in my back yard that I am aware of but for some reason they must not have seen my 3 mega fur babies. I'm just glad they didn't attack my dogs or get hurt themselves. I doubt this will be the last time they come in. I have no garbage bins in my back yard but I do have a garden (nothing is there to eat yet). I'm glad I was out there this time, my dogs are amazing and came when called (as they should). It was very nice of you to have responded to him privately but why not just post that info in the beginning? No one here "bashed" you, all replies were polite and justified as you've admitted to using not so wisely chosen words so I'd think you wouldn't be surprised by the comments. I guess if we were really paying attention it would seem that OBE was not asking for advice or opinions but mostly just stating his problem and wondering out loud if he had a yeast infection. I guess if you live alone and and can do whatever you like without worrying about your smell and bathing habits then you get a common sense exemption. In my opinion CERB handles have a great deal of value and you contribution and conduct go a long way towards getting the most out of CERB. Why OBE is working so hard to get to ZERO is beyond comprehension to me. Good luck getting a reputable lady to go near you or getting a reco from another guy here from now on. As Malika said you possibly have and may continue to put others at risk in the community if you don't get a definitive diagnosis for the problem. Strange behaviour all the way around.

the words 'open minded' seem to conjure up in a guys mind (not all of them, just some) that I am willing to accept and do anything they wish and want. Not the case. Open minded is not something I put into my advertisements, because I would end up with someone that didn't ask enough information to find out exactly what I do offer. With the advent of c-36, a lot of information is no longer available on our websites. We have had to resort to letting you know verbally what we do and do not offer. Open minded, to me, is that I am open to requests that you may have. It means that I may be able to provide a service that you are requesting. I am open to listening and letting you know if it is something I provide or not. (and no, I don't provide certain services just because someone else does, but I do offer some services that others don't provide) Way too often a guy would expect me to provide b b f s, or accepting drugs in exchange for time just because I used the words 'open minded'. I don't do that for anyone. I provide a lot of different things. I have a few restrictions. There is a reason my 'hour' is a little longer than an hour, I want to know what you are truly seeking when you get here. Certain things can't be discussed over email or text, but once you are here, or I am with you, those requests can be known. Items like how I can dress for you, a scenario you would like to play out, these are definitely items that can be taken into consideration when planning time with me. But to assume that any lady with do anything, just because the words 'open minded' are there, you could be in for a rude awakening. Take the time to look at what a lady has in her ads, try reading between the lines to get a feel for what she offers. Contact her in the manner she wishes, don't be rude or condescending, and get to know if you will be a match or not. Almost all of us are open minded, we may try something we never thought of before, it never hurts to ask, just be polite about it.

Go to your doctor or a clinic. It could be yeast, fungal, bacterial. It could be nothing, it could be an STI. Don't try to treat it yourself with weird home-made remedy or stuff you find on google or what people tell you on this forum as depending on what you have it could only aggravate it

I wouldn't agree with the 'avoid MPs or avoid agency' statements. I've felt comfortable in recent months. To me the key is reputation. If you've been around this area in past you'll know who the reputable independents and agencies are. And if venturing into a new area do your research looking for reviews etc on reputable sites. Cub

I see so many posts on forums like this that talk about the first words from a potential client. It absolutely boggles my mind how many guys just won't take a minute to introduce themselves properly. They go right into negotiations or asking extremely explicit questions about services without so much as a hello. Then have the nerve to get angry when you ladies show offense to this behavior. Every time I read this thread, there are more stories of this. I think this has been touched on many times too but guys that don't read. You ladies take the time to post an ad here and elsewhere, pay for said ad, carefully explain what you will or won't discuss as well as specific instructions on contact procedures (i.e. "first time clients please use booking form on my website"), yet guys shoot you a text with, "yo baby, you available?" or "How much?" It is enough to make a persons head explode like the opening scene in "Scanners". Ladies, God luv ya for putting up with guys whose brains are somewhat south of the equator on a good day.

I don't mind speaking to you and giving you some minor details as in rates for my time and services offered and general location but the non stop questions especially explicit ones I will not entertain(some may feel I am being harsh or cold) not my intentions...I just do not want to discuss anything explicit I prefer to have a full conversation in person .....much more fun in person

Someone covered this in a rant before, but lack of manners and politeness bothers the heck out of me. -neglecting to say thank you when a door is held open -dropping a door in peoples faces -hogging priority seating on public transit -treating people like dirt because you feel more important then them. This one I see often as I bring customers to nice restaurants quite a bit, some of the VP's and directors I bring out are the rudest most condescending people I have ever met. if I didn't want (actually need) their money I would have choice words for them, generally I give an extra big tip, put my best face forward when dealing with the server and try to make an apology when we leave (out of earshot). Sometimes they see me being extra polite and turn it around, generally not so much. -general lack of respect is my biggest pet peeve.
