I think, if the women (or men, I suppose) providing these sorts of things, go to such great lengths to be discrete, keeping things very quiet... then the least anyone else who goes to them should be expected to do... is offer the same discretion, stop blabbing your mouths off, you have no idea what devastation it may bring to someone in their private/work life. I have been increasingly concerned that the discussion in the massage section may lead to problems for the providers. Especially the places that do other salon services. Escorts control their phone and location. Massage parlors such as bw, to/eb, Nevada's all have specific licenses but when the place is catering to a whole other clientele for other services I really think we need to keep our conversation much more vague. Some providers are students and I really worry that too much publicity through this review board could have negative implications for them. If we're talking solely about sites like Craigslist where the posts are about as anonymous as you can get, then no. The negatives (and even positives) the get posted are something I totally ignore. This probably should be in the Highlight Of The Day thread but it's a biggie. I was informed by my doc today that I no longer have cancer. The pathology report following my surgery showed that there was cancer in 20% of my prostate but the margins were clear. The blood test I did last week returned a PSA value of 0.0. And that all translates into Bingo, we have a winner! There will be future periodic PSA tests to ensure that all stays good but for now, I'm going to enjoy practicing saying "I do not have cancer." I've been around this game for a long long time and have found no real value in the reviews or recommendations from the various sites. I take everything into context as far as comments are concerned. Still seeing a lot of comments stating WHO is giving extras and that sort of thing. I too have gotten the HPV vaccine shot, and feel it is worth every penny. The new Guardasil 9 is out, but you have to call ahead and have your pharmacy order it. Each shot from Shoppers Drug Mart is 193$. You need a series of three shots within six months in order to be protected for life. After you get your first shot you get your second shot exactly two months later. After your second shot you will be protected for a year. Finally, you get your final shot six months from your first shot, which will protect you for life. While pricy, getting the shots sequentially makes it affordable, and the protection it offers, especially for an SP, balaNce out the cost and effort. The total comes to 579$ with tax. Make sure you book an appointment with a walk in clinic or your GP after you pick up your shot-it cannot stay outside of a fridge long. My pharmacist was nice and gave me mini icepacks free of charge. I then rushed to the nearest Apple Tree clinic and had them place it in the fridge while I waited. Since I was there solely for a shot they tended to me fairy quickly. I will say that as far as shots go, this one is a bit more on the painful side, but is definitely bearable. If you have any more questions but sure to post it on here; it's nice to see that a few ladies in the industry already have the shot, and I hope it encourages more SP's to go for it. Additional Comments: Sorry for flooding the thread but I'd just like to say a few more things. The 193$ a shot is for the newest form of Guardasil and it protects against a few more strains. I always clean up and use lotion and antiperspirant before an encounter, just as I would for a date with a civilian. No TV either, or playing on my phone. No alcool either. It contains a LOT of sugar that could prevent me from sleeping. I keep a little night stand light with a 40watts bulb to read a little it. Just for 15-20 minutes. If I wake up during the night, I stay up for about 10-15 minutes before going back (or I take this occasion to have some lazy fun...). When I go in my bed room, whatever the time of the day or the night, I leave my problems at the door. My room is a calm and peaceful place. A refuge. I don't want any negative energies where I sleep. Problems will still there when I wake up, and I will be able to solve them in the morning, with a fresh and peaceful mind, ready to attack my day. I wake up at 4:00 in the morning, fresh and ready to start my day.

I've lived by this fact for most of my life. I tend to get a tad cranky when I don't get my fill *rawr*

I've had mine, and I recommend it. Gardasil is now approved for use in Canada for all sexually active women up to age 45. It's not an opinion that HPV can cause cervical cancer, or genital warts, it is fact. It's also true that you can have HPV with no adverse health affects at all. It all depends on the strain(s) contracted... But why take the risk? The medical community pretty much agrees that the results have been a staggering achievement in the reduction of HPV cases in people who have been vaccinated, cutting infection rates by more than half! Also, with very little adverse reactions to the actual vaccine. And actually most health plans do cover it. Alternatively, it is considered a health expense claim for self employed individuals (SPs) when filing our taxes. I don't know how common it is among other sex-workers, as I can only take care of myself, and do what I can to protect my own health as I see fit.

The way I quit was somewhat unusual. I had tried at least 4 times before. Furthest I got was about 3 months but I still had the mindset of a smoker and if I was around smoker friends it was really difficult. Then about a year after the last time I tried to quit I got a really nasty cold for about a week. A bad enough cold that I could not smoke a cigarette unless I really wanted to torture myself. It takes a big desire to quit, and as a former smoker (16 years), and a fortunate lung cancer survivor, I hope for you all the best in your attempt(s). Don't quit quitting, as although I quit, also "cold turkey", it was on my 4th attempt that it took. I remember having to remind myself that a physical craving might last 5-7 minutes but if I attached my brain to that it would last an hour or more with my bargaining and rationalizations as to why I could relent. That's when you take a bath, go for a walk, clean something, to take your mind off it. Good going!!

I am definitely a night owl and insomniac too. It does catch up with you. I find the best sleep I have is when I've had good sleep......in other words, getting good sleep promotes more good sleep. Being up too late and gettting strung out just makes it worse. Also, and this always works, a few good weeks of hard labour every day and I can't help but sleep at night! My body just takes over. So get yourself a pile of dirt or gravel and finish off that big project you've been thinking about...shovel, dig, hammer, lift.....and you'll sleep, I promise!

I use Melatonin 5 nights a week, wednesday through friday I take it half an hour before I get off work @630am on saturday sunday I take it at 11pm when I get off work. My days off I don't take it and haven't seen any change in my sleep pattern, it just helps me fall asleep way quicker, have a deeper sleep and if I wake up go back to sleep sooner but I have done some research into it and at the very least it can effect people in different ways or not at all.
