4 pointsI want to take a moment to say thank you to a very special friend of mine who is amazing not only as a person but as a supporter of what we all do here. This is the sex trade video from CBC and while there is a distinct focus more on the downside it at least has some positive comments. http://www.cbc.ca/player/News/ID/2669201792/ Patrick has always been a supporter of what we do and views it as necessary and beneficial thing: health work. The connection versus just focusing on the naughty aspect. It's all part of the equation. With C36 in place, he went on camera, showing his face to say how important he believes what we do is. That would take some serious thought and contemplation on a good day but today, he could be charged because he admitted it. I will send positive and supportive energy to him that he is not targeted but I expect if he is, they will have one heck of a fight on their hands. Patrick puts his money were his mouth is and I respect him so much for this and applaud him for always standing up for what's right even if it's not easy. So to him I say thank you. Thank you for being who you are, for being amazing and for being a friend :D

1 pointDon't get me wrong, I have met a wonderful lady (you KNOW who you are ;) lol) who works out of a MP that, unfortunately, has no shower available. I was talking about places where cleanliness IN GENERAL is an issue, not just the lack of shower facilities.

1 pointI decided I had to clean the cottage eaves troughs. What a dirty job. I thought it would be easier to take up the leaf blower and walk carefully along the edge of the roof blowing out the debris. I put up the 20' ladder, climbed up hauling up the blower and 50' of extension cord. Cleared the trough on that side of the house. Worked great. Went up over the peak of the roof to clean the other side. Turned on blower and did half that side, then pulled on the extension cord to get more slack. Finished cleaning and very proud that my idea worked. Turned off blower and crossed back over the rooof peak. No ladder. My cell phone was on the kitchen counter so I had to sit on the hot roof in shorts nearly a half hour till my neighbors came by, he put the ladder back up, she just stood there. Guess what she was thinking.

1 pointOne of the sexiest pictures I've seen was Brittany Andrews at sunset, waist deep in a lake wearing a wet T-shirt. Wish I had copied it.

1 pointWow, Patrick's the bravest son of a bitch here! He puts us all to shame, that's for sure. Patrick, if anybody in Canada stands a chance going to court to fight for your right to party, and winning, it's you! Any offers coming in from constitutional lawyers yet?
-
1 pointWhats worse than that is showing up to date and the phone goes cold all of a sudden. You might think that someone got cold feet, but when it then happens twice in a row and the person starts making it clear they are trolling you and just sending you on a wild goose chase... well, sort of makes you lose your faith in humanity.

1 pointThanks Patrick, better man than me... Something I could never do in going public..

1 pointHow are Saturday days at BF these days? I remember it being nothing to write home to Mom about but it's probably been over 5 years since I was there on a Saturday but was thinking of checking it out tomorrow in the early afternoon. Anyone have any suggestions of dancers to keep an eye out for? Additional Comments: Yes she did. I saw her at PM today and she is indeed the same Ashley who was at BF way back in the day, then at Barbs for a few years.

1 pointYou are most welcome Satai! It can take a lot of skill, my tips for providers: be really organized(keep soap bottle handy, opened, tuck wand under your arm when necessary for both hands to get soapy, etc.), install a shower wand(I even used to bring one to the hotels I would sometimes see clients at, such a geek, lol), be sure to tie your hair up, move slowly and steadily, and stay in control- save it for the table! I agree with most of what you say, but even though I don't get many massages like the ones we talk about here, I don't think it's fair to exclude everyone who doesn't have shower access from the "BEST MPs" category. I haven't been scoping out the competition's reviews as much lately, not being so active on the board lately, but I imagine that there are some stellar ladies who simply choose to work out of locations without shower facilities for myriad reasons; proximity/location, exposure, contentedness with/loyalty to their first employer, friends, culture, etc. I think the more that is said about any amazing providers, the better, especially sharing details about the facilities so perhaps people aren't disappointed if they had had expectations that are simply not available at that location. I think we all should give thanks, and reviews whenever deserved, even if there is no shower, and remember that this site and others like it(Yelp, Tripadvisor, etc. for other businesses) can be a great source of new business. Which reminds me, I have a review to write about my last vacation, it was awesome, lots of showers there, lol!

1 pointI always knew this was an issue but I'm sorry to hear how prevalent it is. Life does have a way of throwing curve balls at you, however I find it hard to believe that there was that little time to let the lady know, and so often. 10 minutes notice is only marginally better than not showing up at all. My work schedule is a bit unpredictable at times which is why I don't like to book that far in advance. I don't want to be that guy who has to cancel all the time. So far I have only ever had to cancel once. I came down with the flu a couple days before the date but I was still able to give her 2 days notice. (I figured that even if I was feeling better by then I wouldn't want to chance giving it to her.) That being said, I have also had 2 occasions where the lady had to cancel that day on me. Both were good reasons and I certainly didn't hold it against them. The point is though that sometimes the unpredictable can happen. Everyone should simply do their best to be as respectful of the other's time at all times and give as much notice as possible in the event of a change. And if you really can't give her more than 10 minutes notice, be prepared to offer some compensation. It's only fair. Email transfers are pretty easy these days.

1 pointGood morning, Thank you for a lovely visit. it was great to enjoy the lovely weather and warm hospitality. I look forward to seeing you again soon. xoxo Emily

1 pointunfortunately, these things happen a lot. When someone cancels 10 minutes before they are supposed to see a lady, that lady: - has taken the time to book you - has taken the time to get ready for you - has turned away someone else, perhaps, since you have her time booked - is now losing an income that cannot be replaced These 'last minute' cancellations are brutal. Obviously, serious issues come up, and those can certainly be overlooked. Someone getting into a car wreck would certainly be forgiven by a lady, as that is beyond your control. Being called into work, another compounding issue. I have had some whopper excuses in my time in this business, most of them incredibly unbelievable. I'll give you an example. Someone, outside of the community of Lyla, that consistently books me, has so many car accidents that he shouldn't be allowed to drive! Do I believe it when he says it? NO, I just don't book him anymore. Another guy's mother passed away, three times, guess he's not seeing me either. Things are going to happen that can't be helped, but please be respectful of the time and effort that a lady puts into reserving your special time with her. We cannot always have someone else that may be able to take the booking, so it is lost income to us. Think of how you would feel if you walked into work and the boss said he couldn't come in to work today so he's not paying you. It's the same principle. If you cannot afford to see us, don't book until you can. This way you are not wasting your time or ours.
-
1 pointThat's really not good. I only ever cancelled once and it was a date booked months ahead and cancelled weeks ahead. I still felt badly about it. :(

1 pointWellington Street in Ottawa is more awesome than most people give it credit for. And here's why. If you've ever been to Parliament Hill, you may have noticed a beautiful building across the street along side Elgin. It's currently the Prime Minister's office, and over the last century has been used for various government offices. Langevin Block Now I'm more interested in the architecture of it. It was designed in a style that was prominent at the time called Second Empire. Originally from France, buildings were designed in that manner because it was fashionable. That's right, buildings were a fashion statement. Ottawa, specifically downtown Ottawa is a great time line of architectural styles that have been prominent over our nation's short history. Parliament Hill was constructed in a Gothic Revival style, partly to show the world our difference from the United States. Compared to Capitol Hill And while there isn't an example of American Neoclassic design on Wellington Street, there is another great building which has a style very prominent in US. And when I found out what it's original purpose was, it made perfect sense. Located at 100 Wellington Street, it's proposed use was a National Portrait Gallery before the Conservatives came in and scrapped the idea. But it's original use - The American Embassy; the only embassy ever on Wellington Street. Now the last stop is the Bank of Canada. Between Elgin Street and Bay Street, it is the only glass tower to grace Wellington. And again, it is an excellent representation of Canada's history. Almost like layers of soil overlapping the previous one as centuries pass by. The original building was designed in the Neoclassical style so commonly used by banks in that time. In the 70s, much needed additions were constructed, but in a very different approach. And here is the result. Not my favourite, but apparently made it to the top 500 list of Canadian buildings of the 20th century. So if you didn't read all of that, I'll try to sum it up as best I can. Ottawa is new, but has some awesome buildings if you're into that sorta stuff.
