There have been earlier threads where clients discussed apps that generated numbers. The general idea being it protects the client's privacy and he doesn't have to reveal his "real" number. As I've read those threads I wondered how long it would take for this issue, multiple client numbers, to come up. Because the lady needs a real number for her security I'm not a fan of these apps. My personal opinion is this. If you, the client, are dealing with an established professional person, you have no reason to be trying to circumvent her security procedures. Give her your number. You know you're not a threat. She doesn't. Playing games like this is not the best way to demonstrate trustworthiness. If you think you need to point out the obvious, explicitly tell her not to randomly call or text on this number. If you, the client, are trying to hook up with someone where you think there are trust issues, you might want to reconsider that. But that's just my take on it. YMMV

If you restrict yourself, you will lose weight but the second you eat those things again, it's coming back. A lifestyle change is the ONLY option! I have lost 16lbs since the beginning of May. And I have been tracking my calories (MyFitnessPal app!) and making sure there's a deficit! I eat chocolate, I eat ice cream, I drink wine. I don't starve myself. But I AM mindful of portions. Tracking my calories has made me more aware of food and food choices!! (Did you know an apple pie from McDonald's has less calories than a raisin bran muffin from Robins Donuts? Lol) It's also about figuring out YOUR ideal caloric intake for the day. And also, what to eat that works for you to curb your cravings. For example... I tried having smoothies for breakfast. We are talking protein powder, kale/spinach, greens powder, maca powder, frozen berries, half a banana and almond milk. Same caloric intake as what I'm eating now - BUT I found that, psychologically, because I wasn't "eating" anything, I was finding myself hungry. Now, i sautée veggies and then add egg to make an omelet. Usually add black beans. I'll have it with a bit of fruit, and one piece of gluten free raisin cinnamon toast. Add my coffee, and I have a breakfast that's usually around 300 calories, less than 7g of fat, has 8g of fibre and 29g of protein!!! I will have a snack mid day, but really I'm not hungry til supper time. So finding what will hold you is KEY!!! I also start EVERY day with warm lemon water on an empty stomach. And I drink lemon water all day long (cool). HUGE benefits!!! Plus then you aren't drinking all your calories!!!

I'll throw my own two cents in here, or at least one of them -- since I can just borrow one of them Phaedrus, who expressed a lot about my own state of mind. CERB has served for a long time as a sounding board for my own thoughts about sex and human relations, and other things. And I read attentively and learned a LOT from the other clients and the women who posted their own fascinating perspectives. I found a few months ago that I had said a lot of what I had to say, at least for now. And as Phaedrus mentioned, even the discussions by others seemed to cycle around to the same topics. I've seen that wheel turn a few times now, and haven't been much inspired to post and (probably) repeat myself. Finally, I have some other (good) preoccupations in my life that are consuming some of the energy I expended here. C'est la vie. Some of it has been the new law and in particular the constraints it put on language here. A core part of the appeal here was to "speak" openly about topics seldom discussed elsewhere, at least not in the same way. With the necessary self-censorship and obliqueness, that charm evaporated. The double-think intruded badly into my own ability to generate and express my own thoughts. A few familiar faces have departed, and that puts a dent in things too. But that kind of churn and change is natural, not just here but in life generally. You miss people, but you adapt and meet new ones. So less of a factor than the others. As this post shows though, I'm still lurking. I expect my own wheel will turn too, and I'm hopeful there will come a time when I'm once again motivated to jump in with both feet. I've got only good wishes for the community in the meantime.

I would estimate 300+ spam posts are removed each month. title infractions.... we don't want the site to lookk like cl with all the crazy post titles trying to out do the next one and gain the most attention... so i have very specific rules to stop this and i use to take the time to pm each person and tell them what they did wrong... i found that even when i took the time people would ignore the pm and continue to break the rules so now i just delete the post and give them a infraction with a link to the rules.. I get people every day wasting my time asking me to elaborate on what they did wrong... did they read the link with the rules??? NO... They are just wasting my time. about 300 posts a month break this rule and more than 1/2 of them break the rule over and over again. Democracy is rife with "what ifs". Who moderates who? Who is to be trusted to be impartial and unbiased? This is an online, virtual, anonymous community. I would not want to be in charge of finding anyone perfect enough to meet the requirements of monitoring this board, as there is not one participant that doesn't have biases and self interest at hand, while still pleasing the masses that seem to demand their perception of perfection instead of practical application. Given the pettiness, immaturity and nonsense I have seen on the board lately, I would gladly choose to have MOD continue as always and permanently ban the whiners, complainers and shit disturbers. The manipulation and games would push anyone over the fragile edge. I know many "valued" participants would be gone but it would give CERB a fresh start and I for one would be glad to see them go. MOD is constantly taken for granted by both hobbiest and SP alike. Has anyone ever thought of what would happen if CERB were shut down? I mean literally, off the air. Having this board is a privilege not a right. It costs nothing to participate and we all gain from it, but it costs $$$, time, heart and soul to run it. This whole "democracy" issue should have never happened. Who has the right to question and complain about MODs decisions to begin with? It's his board, which means his game, his rules!!! He has the right to make decisions without backlash or complaint from anyone in any form. If you don't like his decisions, LEAVE. There are other boards out there for you to participate on. Don't like those, start your own board. To all of those who have pushed MOD to this, those who complained and pitched hissy fits, give your head a shake, grow up and get a life. You have brought this on CERB. It would serve all those involved if MOD decided to simply close up shop and move on to something that doesn't require hyperbaric sensory deprivation treatments to maintain his sanity. All of you who take petty squabbles to him instead of being an adult and taking the high road. All of you who feel it's more important to be right than it is to be happy. Life doesn't always work out the way you want it to. Accept it and move on. For those who have been banned, take responsibility for your part in it and....move on. Perhaps if some apologies and self policing were implemented, this would all go away.
