Although this subject has come up on a regular basis throughout this thread, I think there is a lot more fire behind it this time. The timeline will depend on what's going to be developed. If it's just a Lyon St LRT station, the club may have as much as a year, but that's optimistic. If development includes condos/retail with plans to be ready for when LRT is finished, I think we're looking at only a few months. If notice has been given to Glue Pot staff, I think the latter is much more likely. I'd be interested in hearing from the girls about their plans. If you see someone who frequently changes their name, yes that can be a bit suspicious. That's why doing some research, rather than just going to see someone can prevent any potential problems. As Parker pointed out, she changed her name, as have many of the women on this site or elsewhere have. It's generally not a big deal, and they may just being doing it for the sake of change. There could be a myriad of reasons why someone working in this industry would change their name some benign and some for less positive reasons. I have met with a few ladies who have changed their name some complete changes and some subtle changes... some to better reflect the image they wish to present in their business and some to make a break with a past that has or is causing them difficulties either of their own making or more likely if they are well established reputable ladies to get away from individuals who are stalking or bullying them. People forget that sex workers have a life outside of their work environment and that they unfortunately often have to go to extraordinary length to protect both their own privacy and that of others who might be in their life. This will sometimes include restarting their business under a new name with a new website and new pictures often at considerable cost and impact on their business to say nothing of the effect on their personal feelings of safety and security. I read from someone who had spoken to a relative that is in health care, that brushing teeth before encounter should be a no-no because of the risk of bleeding gums that will allow a possible unwanted bacteria into your body.
