I'm always honest with those I've seen before. Its a hard conversation, but I feel it's important to let them know why I choose not to see them again. For those I've never met, and I just know its not a good fit, I ignore. Explains why some guys say "I sent her a text and she never replied". Typically they have said something in their communication that is either crude, inappropriate or just down right juvenile. If they keep sending me communication, I explain to them I don't feel its a good fit and ask them to move on. I had a guy once who sent an email saying I was too old. No biggie, no skin off my shirt. However, 6 months later, he was begging to see me. He thought I wouldn't have remembered him, but I knew right away it was him, and I ignored him. He pestered me for about a month, then quietly went away. For those that are down right dangerous, I let them know any further correspondence with be forwarded to the authorities. It stops them in their track.

Well I don't know much about the industry in Winnipeg or about how these particular arrests might seem to the participants in the industry in that area so my comments here should really be taken as my general thoughts about the industry based on my experiences over the year in a few markets across the country. From my perspective it is pretty obvious that the sex industry certainly does have its element of exploiters who look to take advantage of sex workers who find themselves in difficult situations and that this element is more likely to be seen at the street level. Now I am not saying that everyone who works in the industry at the street level is being exploited just that I think the risks in that part of the industry are much greater and the elements of our society that look to take advantage might focus more where they think there is greater vulnerability. If the police is Winnipeg are operating on this type of premises and focusing on eliminating the exploitative elements then I guess this could be a good thing. My concern I guess is that we have often seen people professing to want to "save" sex workers when in reality the steps they take only make life for the sex worker more difficult and risky. You want to do something to remove the exploitative element out of the industry make it legal and apply the same safe work legislation to sex workers that you do to others. I recently saw a tweet from a lady who may need surgery and she commented that their are no medical benefits or EI in this business... There are so many things that could be done but we seem to instead want to only focus on the application of legal repercussion on one or the other parties to this industry. We used to persecute the sex worker and now we want to persecute the client. I think things are changing but we have a very long way to go. Just my Opinion

Last Saturday I decided to get a massage to start off my vacation in the NCR. I decided to try something new and headed downtown Ottawa to Star Health Spa on Laurier. There, I was greated by Lucy. Yes, now we are getting much closer to the heart of the matter or what I was really asking. So I try to have that frank discussion and for a wide variety of reasons. I don't like acting or think it is necessary, I don't want to be an unnecessary burden, I don't want to waste my time and effort (or hers) on something that could have been avoided. I guess the problem is trying to switch on the absolute honesty switch just takes time and a lot of explanation but I have managed it.

For me the bottom line is as follows: It is illegal to purchase a sexual service in Canada even though it IS LEGAL to sell a sexual service. So in my opinion the hiring of a Escort for the purposes of him/her providing you with a sexual service is against the law. As with everything in life the devil is always in the detail... what if you are only hiring the escort for companionship with no explicit or implied contract for sex just the pleasure of her time... that should be legal. I guess to a certain extent it comes down to what they can prove and we will only really know legally once this is placed before the courts and it makes its way back the the Supreme Court. As for me... th legality was questionable in the past and I made bookings it is questionable now and I will continue to make bookings but just be a little more careful. Just my Opinion

We as humans will always be incomplete where wanting to be perfect or getting it all done is concerned. We will never get it all done so enjoy the contrast in life because without contrast such as hard times or sad times, there would be no joy. This is a blessing. If we were all perfect, life would be very boring. Despite what any one person believes in and is entitled to believe in, enjoy and appreciate what you have and live life to the fullest! Actually I find this disturbing that you are starting a thread about a client which is very negative in my opinion. Assumptions made about a client possibly being a sociopath is way over the top. You and certainly myself are not here to make assumptions on ones behaviour, ladies don't see us gents posting about ladies behaviour if it is strange to us, at least I never have read them, however I try and stay away from negativity but this thread I could not. Bottom line is that it's all about economics and supply and demand. If the escorts travelling and local charge a certain rate and nobody paid it, they would stop charging it! BUT if they charge a certain rate and people DO pay it, then why not keep charging that rate. I wish people could just move on with their lives and let everyone else live theirs peacefully... There has been a massive increase in requesting discounts lately, and I've found very few Sp's in several spaces that have not encountered it. We're not talking small, either. We're talking huge discounts. Something to bare in mind is this: yes, it is a business. However, we are not selling stuff we buy at wholesale to peddle through our stores, nor just offering our skills to people. We are selling our bodies, our emotions, and connections with people. We also put ourselves at great risk to do this. There are a vast amount of expenses that come with the job. We lose out on a lot, especially socially, when we do this job. We set our rates for a reason. Please respect that. Little discounts here or there? If the SP is fine with than then sure. That's their business. Long term relationship? Sure, if the SP wants to do it. Multiple hour discounts? Sure, again, depending on the SP. Please do not: -Yell at, sweat at, or insult the SP for having no discount. - Tell the SP his/her services are _________, so ___ him/her! - Tell she Sp she/he is not _____ enough or ____ enough to deserve those rates. - Tell the SP that so and so does this. Or so and so is ___ and __ and charges less, so you should too! Or, you are not as good as so and so. - Tell the SP they are unkind for charging too high. - Tell the SP they are not worth the money. - Agree to said rate, and then try to haggle in person, or conveniently forget 40$ or more ( or any amount for that matter) at home or in the car. - Bully the SP by telling them they will never get work, or enough work to survive if they keep charging what they are charging. - Tell the Sp you are doing them a favour by spending money on them. - Tell them they were ugly, or fat anyways. Myself and others have encountered all of, or even more of these behaviours. Stop. Yes, we have bills to pay like any other business owner. Yes, we should choose to model our business in ways that keep us competitive. Yes, all business owners have bills to pay, and make discounts too. But again, we are selling ourselves. We put ourselves at risk and sacrifice a lot to be here to be with you. It does not mean we don't love our jobs. Myself and others do. But it's not an easy job. It's not a well liked, open job. We are part of a social underground. Please respect who we are. Please respect what we do. Please respect what we risk and sacrifice to be with you. If you want discounts, do it respectfully and reasonably. If the fee is too high, move on. If you don't want to move on, save up the money. It should be this simple. It shouldn't be this mean. We are human beings too.

Keep in mind he is ahead in the polls that are made up of those Republicans that are registered to vote in the primaries. That is a big difference than what he would likely poll across the general populace. I do agree with you that I'm so glad our own election period is shorter.
