I wish I could say no news is good news but that is not the case. I was hoping more members would contact me over the weekend and we could make it a go. We do have enough gents, however we only have 6 ladies confirmed and only one has contacted me so far this weekend. I will wait till tomorrow night but unless more ladies can make it, we will have to cancel. Truth of the matter is that the local SP community on this board has diminished considerably last 2 years. All one has to do is to look at the number who post ads to see that. Last 2 socials we had 50% "no show" on the ladies side. Yes no show not cancellation. We compensated by overbooking considerably the number of ladies by allowing ,many out of town ladies to come and Both ALO and CMJ sent many MAs to increase attendance. If it wasn't for that, we would have been lucky to have 15 ladies at the social. Seems this time most out of town ladies can't make it and very few MAs are coming. Can't expect to have many ladies at a OT CERB social when there are maybe a dozen local SPs advertising and active on the Board. But if someone things it has all the answers to theses problems, we do not have a copyright or ownership on the social. Instead of assuming things, just step up to the plate and organize it. You will find out there is a lot to do to run a successful event and I challenge anyone that wishes to do so, to do it for free.

Thanks Backrubman! Good info and glad I only use that machine for work and nothing else. It seems that all platforms are doing more and more of this these days. I use OSX for personal stuff and they do the same, but at least they are upfront about it and don't try and hide the settings to turn off. Side Note: I wasn't impressed with how Microsoft essentially forced this upgrade onto my system. Yes, I did sign up for the free upgrade, but I thought that I would be able to do this anytime within the year as it is free upgrade for the first year. The OS automatically downloaded to my machine and I kept getting pop ups asking if I want to install. I kept deferring, but I came in to office one morning and "BAM" the OS was installed. Now I assume this is because automatic updates were on and I could see other updates were installed that required a system restart. It caused a lot of problems as certain things would not work anymore and were required for my work. The worst was my VPN, but after a tech visit and some trial and error, this was solved. Overall, like the OS, but not the experience of how this was upgraded.

So I finally went and did an Orientation at CMJ today. I didn't have time to take my first session(poor time management on my part), but I am definitely joining CMJ! She gave me the most wonderful hug when I was leaving. It honestly brought back all the memories from our first visit so pleasant I should have tipped her again. Lol. It should be noted that the default setting in 10 is for the tracking and reporting on usage to occur. I'm still on Windows 8 but apparently you can change the reporting level to deny windows the ability to harvest this level of data. I've also heard but not seen it myself where this facility will be pushed to other versions including 8 in the next windows update. Toper

We haven't had any complaints about cost except for one member mentioning he is cutting down on hobbying, not just on coming to the social. And I doubt paying 10 dollars is too much for the ladies. That 10 dollars wasn't to subsidize food. It was a suggestion from both ladies and gents to try and cut down on the number of ladies' no show. There are several aspects of this story I find very disturbing: 1. That our government gives the Supreme Court the finger by making new laws that are less compliant with the Charter than those the Supreme Court struck down. 2. That those charged are treated as guilty first by having their names published and must prove they are innocent (if they are), even if they manage to prove they are innocent in court they are already guilty and always will be in the court of public opinion. 3. That it is entrapment, plain and simple. I am certain that the majority of these gentlemen had no intent until propositioned by an attractive undercover police officer (but entrapment is OK in Canada - it shouldn't be). 4. At least one of those charged suffers from Alzheimer's and probably would have agreed to help the lady rob a bank if she had asked him to :)

Went to see Helen this week, as previously stated she looks nice without being a model. Massage was great, that's what I went for and she did do a great job on my back and legs. The ending wasn't fantastic, little too mechanical like she just wanted to finish it, but like I said at least the massage was good. So my recommendation is if you want an actual real muscle massage ending with a release at the end then this the place. If you want ambience with an ok massage but a great release my money would go to EB.

To cut to the chase....no diet will ever be effective without exercise. You nee to burn more calories than you consume and the only way to do that is to be active. Base your calorie intake on your desired activity level instead of vice versa (that's where a lot of diets fail...they tell you to eat so much but forget how to tell you how to burn the calories) After that, it's all will power. Smart eating can let you consume more foods with less calories. By smart I mean healthy...cut DOWN on the usual culprits but don't deprive yourself. Smaller portions if eaten slowly can be just as satisfying. Never deprive yourself unless you have super willpower. The goal should be long term and life long not a quick loss of some lbs. don't forget, muscle weighs more than fat so keep on working out!
