I absolutely agree with the Mature Ladies .. I am PROUD of my age .. the experience of years and the hard work i put in to looking good ;)

I have always lived by the old adage that age is just a number. I have known people who were young at 80 and old at 25. What really ages someone is their outlook and attitude; their energy shifts with their thoughts. I enjoy my age and have earned every one of my years; many the hard way so fully embrace my age. Many think I'm younger looking and I won't complain about that. I have chosen to do this because I enjoy it and feel I have something wonderful to give. I bring myself honestly to the table and that includes my age. The way I see it, each person participating is an individual with an idea of who they want to see and what they're looking for so there is someone for everyone.

Tom said he had no problem telling folks our age, because he (and now me) have never acted our age in his (our) life!!! Neither of us wanted to be the grumpy old man, yelling at the kids to stay off the grass. Both of us love (loved) ALL Ladies, big, small, tall, short, skinny, plus sized, black, white, yellow, green. Heading to Halifax at the end of October. Does anyone have any recommendations for great restaurants, bars or sightseeing spots that I should check out? When I first started out, I started small with massage and was nervous because I was outside the "norm" in Halifax. As things progressed, I relaxed into myself, found what felt right to me and embraced the fact I loved what I did. Now I usually only get nervous with those who don't do a lot of communicating prior as I never know their level of knowledge of who I am or if they will be a "quiet" one (silence is disconcerting to me). I hope so... it seems like the entire line of articles from this source are far right wing, religious ideology. But, then again I wouldn't put it past Harper either. I'm betting that one of the other parties will win and follow through on their pledge to repeal C-36. I'm all for LE going after those who exploit women, but leave consenting adults alone. Have lived here a little over 5 yrs and have yet to try all the restaurants I would like, there are so many! I have to say my favorite is The Bicycle Thief and I love The Wooden Monkey(all food is local and organic from NS). The Carleton is a great place to eat and listen to live music. The Stubborn Goat(Grafton St) has amazing pub food. A walk along the waterfront is a must, you will find lots of shops to pop into as well as the Museum of the Atlantic. How could it not! I have met some really great women that otherwise I don't think our paths would have ever crossed. Some that I would consider friends and I know we will still keep in touch after one of us retires from this business. And like I mentioned in a few threads, after a rough end of the year this business has brought me back to happy :) I love all you wonderful ladies for what you do. And when caught, the famous cry, "oh my webdesigner did that" Funny that seems to be a favourite cry of any lady caught plagiarizing a website..."oh my webdesigner did it" What can any member of Lyla do if they spot stolen photos, plagiarized websites or plagiarized ads on the board...report it to Mod Also let the lady know her photos/website etc are stolen and by whom And guys, don't have dates with these thieves...yes plagiarism and stealing photos is theft. Support ladies who invest in themselves and their business. Ladies who are professional. With those other ladies, the ones who give this lifestyle a bad name, I am always left wondering if they would steal pictures or plagiarize, what else would she steal Most important as a client though is do not support these thieves at all. like most older ladies here, I post my real age. I'm proud of my 50s :) no need to add anything else... Bianca

A wise lady I met years ago told me she always uses her real age, and she looks amazing at 57 (you know who you are). I decided to follow her example when I turned 50 and started using my real age and it has worked in my favour, rather than against me. This year I will be 55 and my oldest client, a 95 year old man, says I'm a "youngin". I can live with that. Not to criticize any mature ladies who advertise younger, but there are definitely more ads for 40-something ladies than 50+. I do chuckle though when I get the odd person asking me "If you're advertising 54, does that mean you're really 60?"

This industry is in large part driven by disposable income so it's not unrealistic to think that many of the more active clients are people who are more established financially which in a lot of case is when they are older. As an older guy in my mid fifties who has some degree of financial independence and who enjoys the company of a beautiful sexy intelligent woman I have seen ladies in the age range from 19 to mid 50's and all I can say is I tend to have the best connection with women who are mid thirties and later. I am not saying I have never connected with someone younger just that in general the connection has been better with ladies in their 30's. Now don't get me wrong the younger ladies I have meet have been wonderful... the sex has been great and their bodies have been the thing guy's constantly fantasize about but with the ladies who have had a few more years of life experiences I have just shared a greater connection in addition to the amazing sex. Let's face it... if I am booking for a couple of hours there will be lots of time for other things besides sex and it is that companionship time that often makes the difference for me. Beyond the sex the more mature ladies have generally understood me better.... they had the life experiences that were more in common with me. I will suggest however that these more mature ladies are I think with out exception younger in spirit and outlook then their age might initially suggest and yes they were all extremely sexy. In life as we get older I think we often come to learn to appreciate as sexy things that we might not when we are younger... aging with grace and showing that in how you carry yourself can for me be very attractive. So bottom line I can understand why a lady might choose to market herself to the demographic that she feels she best connects with just like I might select who I choose to meet. As long as the lady who opens the door is genuine to the image she has portrayed in her ads then I don't think I would care that she fibbed about her age. I stopped being nervous meeting new SPs pretty quickly, but I've never stopped being excited. These days I pretty much know who I'm going to meet when the door opens from ads, picture galleries, posts, and at least a couple of e-mails or PMs; and that knowledge takes away most of the uncertainty that might otherwise make me nervous. But the prospect of meeting someone new that I've chosen to meet, who I know is really attractive and appealing and interesting to me in some way (or else I wouldn't have chosen her)... that's exciting and makes my heart beat a little faster every time. Now that I'm all grown up, I'm a pretty relaxed and sociable guy who has little trouble making honest, engaged conversation, even with someone new. But even though it doesn't show, in one small corner of my mind there's still an 18-year-old version of young, shy, nerdy me gleefully going "I can't believe it! This is awesome this is awesome THIS IS AWESOME!!!". And that's part of the fun. :)
