There is a common thread in all these comments and all are very accurate. Of course we all know that men especially are very visual and a woman's physical appearance seems to score higher for the average lay person out there. (Think Shallow Hal movie). HOWEVER, as I am quickly learning, some characteristics that make a woman extra sexy to me include, total honesty, open communication straight up front with nothing to hide. I rarely bother hobbying anymore. I just haven't found it really worth it lately. I still do troll this sites to check out the ads. In fact I'm sure most of us do that here too. I have to say that I love Lyla for sharing information Lately I have been seeing so much bait and switch comments, I thought I might put my own thoughts on this out there. Fake pictures; rediculously low rates; ads that are so grammatically bad they look like they were written by a five year old; WeIrD sYmB@Ls in the titles; different phone numbers for same girl/different girl(s) with same number; ads that disappear; no website or reviews to look at; sketchy areas known for this; available 24/7 (uh, when do they shower, clean or sleep?); not so appealing incall location; multiple people in the incall (a sure fire indication something is going on); 'party friendly' (generally code word for drugs); you call two or three times and a different voice each time 'claims' to be the name in the ad; in town for two days, but you have been calling for ten days; "well reviewed" in the ads but they can't tell you where those reviews are; fee is different when you get there from what was advertised; where does in end? Reputable providers don't usually make their availability in sketchy areas of town or go to areas they do not feel safe in. Nor do they use someone else's photos. They have a screening process to a certain degree and are polite and accommodating. The stories of things like, "I have to go pay the driver", "omg, my boyfriend/mother just came in, let me get him/her out of here", "just let me have a quick smoke before we get started", these are the things that I see written here, but guys fall for it all the time! These girls take your money and disappear. Reputable providers do not 'have' to do ANY of those things. When you show up to an incall, it will be a welcoming spot, with clean sheets, a fresh environment and warm and friendly smile and hug. When are guys going to wake up and realize that you get exactly what you pay for when others have claimed bait and switch, or the ad just seems too good to be true. You determine who you bring in. I choose who I want. I enjoy what I do and a law (a pathetic one and is very contradicting) isn't going to put any strain on that. I also don't care what others think of me either, that doesn't bother me.

The second part of this thread taught me something new and very practical as well. When someone (SP) PMs me asking to know more about me, I tend to provide TMI (too much info). I've been known to ramble. I had always THOUGHT that most SPs DID NOT LIKE OR OFTEN HAVE TIME FOR CALLS. But really, it makes so much sense and is so much more efficient. Talking reveals much more and as we know, texting is known to sometimes lose something in translation. (Can be easy to misinterpret a comment or emotion). Personally, I prefer this site BECAUSE it operates within sensibilities. Yes, some words get caught up in the censors, however, we can still get the message out. It of course, depends on the 'reason' the issue is present.... but, as a provider of several things, I also deal a lot with all natural medicines and other things, and know of several plants, herbs et al that make a world of difference to a lot of men... without having to resort to medications. The VERY FIRST adult discussion website in Canada (at least that I know of) that had info on escorts was created by no other then "Joyful Spirit" (A member here who use to go by the name "LYLA" and she built the website and was a pioneer for online escorts in Canada). The site was LYLA.COM and was affectionately known as "Lyla's List". It also displayed ads for Escorts-Canada.com and when LYLA wanted to retire the site she passed the domain name on to the owners of escorts-canada.com. They (EC) continued lyla's list for a few years but when the SPONLY area on LYLA.COM at the time known as demimonde was taken over by some of the ladies and failed miserably and the discussion board part was hacked bad due to a old bbs system that was full of security holes the discussion element of the site and the sponly area of the site were put onto the back burner. The lyla.com site stayed active but only to display ads for escorts-canada (without a discussion element) instead we created a separate site cerb.ca to start from scratch. So... We are bringing back LYLA.COM as we need a NON CANADIAN DOMAIN NAME for this site. WHY?? Basically we do not trust the Canadian powers that be, with these new laws it's only a matter of time when our compliance is not good enough so this way we have a .COM domain name (canada does not have any governing body over .com only .ca) so we felt this needed to happen sooner then later. BUT... love you like a sister is a most excellent modern day urban take on the name! We should adapt that as this community has always been about watching each others backs, helping the ladies stay safe and all around positive side of the adult industry. Since we are sisters and brothers and we now have all those annoying DOT.DOT.DOT censors all around us maybe we should use "Love You Like A ..." as the name! ;)
