I used to go the US regularly for shopping or day trips all the time. Now I find their border guards are obnoxious and do everything to deter me. Okay, a couple of things to say here. First... I've found that massage rates tend to be reasonably consistent between the major spas (including P/AT) and independent providers. You're usually looking at 180-ish for an hour; it may be a bit more or less depending on where you go and what options you want (or don't want) where those exist. For the spas that only publish a door fee rather than an all-in rate, you can do the math yourselves. Don't ask me about other lengths of appointment because I tend not to go for those :) Second, a word to those people making snarky comments about people with long-standing accounts asking questions like this: it's perfectly possible to have been involved in this industry for a long time without ever going to a spa. Maybe those folks have only seen escorts in the past. Maybe they've stuck to indy providers, where it's much easier to ask questions directly of the person who you'll be with. Or maybe they haven't been involved with this industry for a while; people do end up doing things like having monogamous relationships, sometimes for years at a time, without playing away from home while they do. An account with few posts that's been around for a long time and hasn't been to a spa is not inherently suspicious. None of that means that anyone should feel obliged to answer PM'd questions from people with no posting record - hell, I quite often don't myself, and I'm far more likely to help out other members who do things like post recommendations - but if we could hold back on the open scorn and hostility, it'd be nice.

I love what I do and have trouble calling it "a job". I only started 6 months ago, and had the chance to be "mentored" by two wonderful professional independent ladies (thank you again my friends). I feel so lucky to have met them exactly at the moment I needed them. I quit two part-time jobs to get into this activity because I needed to experience something else, but also because I was - and am - totally reviewing my vision of life, in general. Let's call it a "big review". This is for sure one of the best decisions I have taken in my life, and absolutely do not regret it. There is way more companionship and psychology involved in doing this, than it is about the "adult games". The real intimacy is this, being human with someone, exchanging with someone. What a gift to give and to receive. And sometimes, it can even become a luxury, because our lives are so stressful, complicated, painful etc... I shared some time with a gentleman a few days ago who just wanted to talk for hours. Just talking and sweetness. This is what he truly needed and wanted. It is moving to think that by just being me and listening to him, offering some sweetness, I helped him a lot. I think that this is one of the best jobs in the world. I also think that people who do not get this job do not get a big part of what being human is. And this is so sad.
