2015 was a pretty good year for me. My biggest highlight is that my youngest son and his girlfriend finally moved to Montreal. Now I have my 3 sons all living near by. So happy.

My 2015 highlight was the Federal election result.... for the first time I participated as a volunteer for my liberal candidate! I couldn't be happier having Harperman gone! And I'm feeling quite hopeful with the initial progress of our new government. If they will take the time and effort to chuck C-36 and make things safer for sex workers I'll be over the moon.

I think one thing being missed here, is that you cannot advertise on bp as underage. You must put a minimum age of 18. So, they are posting pictures of girls who are obviously underage, but listed as 18. Before c-36, the stings were for street workers. Now they are going after clients from backpage. Things to keep in mind. The pictures are of young girls They are always incall to the hotel They want specific discussions of sexual services for money Do your homework. View their recommendations, view their websites, ask your fellow pooners. If the ad says "barely legal, young, etc" and new with no background, stay clear. They haven't stopped, and are just beginning their sweeps. Ladies who are obviously over 18 are getting visits to make sure we arn't exploited. So stay safe everyone.

Trying to get it on with an underage escort was totally illegal before C36 became law, and will undoubtedly remain so as and when the current laws get revisited. I'm not sure quite why they're trying to spin the story so that it looks like the new laws had something to do with it.

unfortunately some people need to also be educated on the laws and post all sorts of things here that thanks to the last government are illegal so the censors (as annoying as they are for all of us including me) were a necessity (at least for the last year as we educated people about the new laws and what they can and can not post)... yes lawyers can easily knock down all sorts of stuff BUT that costs money as lawyers are not free (at least good ones are not)... so we will evolve (council has actually been discussing censors for a few months now) and we are taking it slow. Now if you wish to fully remove the censors here PM me, I am sure we could work out a deal where you pay the retainer fee to a lawyer and we could probably get rid of them off the site all together? 30-50grand should do it.

We can't forget that most of the terms used in and around this industry (and that is truly what it is if we want to be completely honest with ourselves) were created to intentionally be vague. I appreciate the advice/responses and would have no problem providing info as part of a screening process to a reputable Lyla member. The point about an established presence on Lyla is well taken and one of the reasons for starting the thread. My lack of posts has more to do with limited experience more than anything else.

We all have to start somewhere so not having a reference is not always a deal breaker. RM is correct the best approach is to contact the lady you want to meet and respectfully explain your situation... many ladies who include references in their screening process also have alternatives they will use provided you are willing to be upfront with some verifiable information for them... just remember if your dealing with established reputable LYLA Ladies they will have already established their reputation for confidentiality and security so you will not be at any risk in providing them some personal information....their only interest in your information is so that they can effectively screen and ensure their safety. I think it's also fair to suggest that an established longer term presence here on this board can also be helpful to the process... while you have been a member of the board for almost a year you only have 2 posts so that will not tell them too much about you. I kinda think there is the general guidelines that both parties should accept: Respect each others time... if you are late don't expect that the other party can or should accomodate you regardless of the reason If you make a booking and can't make it last minute... if you are the client you pay the full fee... if you are the lady you get no payment and refund in full any deposit if there are issue... communicate them ASAP Now that said I also think that it is in both parties long term interest to be as flexible as you can be when issues come up... that does not mean have expectations but it does mean that if you treat people well it often means they will do the same to you Just my Opinion

If you want to ask question, first you can't be shy or the lady can't make you feel uncomfortable. Most of us will make our research on the lady we want to visit so men being very visual people will look at pictures of the said lady. Stopped into 340 briefly on Saturday afternoon (12/19) about the time things were just getting going for the day around 2:00. Saw Francesca, Bridgette, Montana and Sin onstage (2:00 - 3:00) and by 2:30 or so the club was moderately busy - about average for a Saturday afternoon.
