I am not From Winnipeg but as I read this thread I am struck by the fact that the situation is probably not that much different here in St. John's.... There is good reasons why Lyla ladies and other professionals in this business charge more it's because to operate professionally in this industry they have to invest in themselves... photos... gym... healthy eating.... periods away from work for rejuvenation to say nothing of the cost associated for travel... incall locations etc. Guys... we get what we pay for... if we pass up on the wonderful Lyla lady for the $80 hh special then we should not be surprised if the local lady moves along and the touring gems stop including our smaller market cities in their schedule. Now before I get called on for beating up on BP let me just just that it can be a great advertising location...an is used by many many very reputable high end providers I'm just saying the onus is on us clients to do the homework... verify the ads... share our experience and not look to always get a deal that all to often is not really a deal at all..... if you pay $80 for hh instead of $300 for an hour but actually only stay $15 minutes and leave without even your $80 expectations met have you really saved any money? Nope, they are one of the most expensive options for advertising. However, there is no verification of photos, no confirmation of ages, just send them money, and they can post. Craigslist however is free, and even more scams on that one. I just wish guys would use other resources to find providers. The actual definition of it is rather degrading in that it means a woman who has children that someone considers to be physically attractive enough to have sex with. But if they just have to be a mother, then isn't motherhood being put down because then the expectation is that as soon as woman has a baby, she is no longer desirable. What you describe doesn't sound like it. First up: most of what LE does has always been, and still seems to be, aimed at trafficking and street workers. Independent providers working indoors are mostly left alone, I think. Second: I don't think stings are anything like as common here as they are in the US. I think many consist of a female cop standing on a street corner; there was one in November where they posted a CL/BP ad, but an important part of that was that the "provider" made it clear she was underage during the booking process. So, again, it's targeted at a certain kind of client. And that's the main point to all of this - what the police go after is either the stuff that people see and complain about, or the stuff where they can look good for catching obvious villains (traffickers, clients looking for under-age action). They know damn well that bringing the hammer down on consenting adults isn't really good publicity. So, to finally get round to the specifics of what you're asking about... I haven't heard of a sting where the police bothered setting up a website; they seem to get enough arrests with BackPage ads and working on the streets. The real answer to your question is to do a bit of research here and perhaps on other boards; if the person you're thinking of seeing has a few reviews or recommendations then you're almost certainly safe (at least, that's always worked for me so far). January 7th for new ownership is so soon! I'm really surprised that the new owners have chosen to reopen so that quickly ! The club definitely needs some major renovations front of house and behind the scenes to be more appealing for clients as well as the talent they come to see.
