Had the good fortune earlier this week to revel in an hour-long training duo with Julia and Skylar Heart. What a bounty of blondes they were together! Inter-provincial Car inspections suck in BC. GRRR. Mechanically, my car is great. Brakes, Lights, Horn, Signals, Windshield, Wheel Bearings etc. Little picky details. I hate Sensors. I mean, I can see if my tires need air. A rust spot of less then 1 inch that does not vent inside the car. Electric window that I disabled as it goes down, but not up. Why the hell didn't I buy a car that is basic? Cause they don't exist anymore. Thing I'm pissed about - the mechanic was finished by noon. However, he was waiting on estimates to get the rest fixed. I missed a lovin waiting. GRRR. I'm at $235 so far (yes, I got an oil change), but the rest is going to cost a bugger. NB, inspections only cost $25 - here they are a minimum of $95. I mean, I know housing is expensive here, but really? I see rust buckets, dirty engines, loud mufflers - they are ok? Really.....

My goto club in Ottawa is Barbs... it got lots of good hotels and places to eat all around it and has always treated me nice lol That said last time I was there I hit up The Playmate and it was an enjoyable evening but it was further from my hotel.

Thanks I am glad you said that because as I have read the posts on this thread over the last few days I have been struck by my thought that it would never occur to me to think about my race when making a booking and that I really have no idea what that feels like to wonder if I will be accepted because of my skin colour. Not a very nice feeling actually but I guess it is good to have that brought to my attention. Before anyone jumps to the conclusion that I have a problem with a lady being upfront with her choice of who she is intimate with let me just say that I understand that there are many reasons that could go into that decision so I am not saying it's wrong.... just that the discussion has helped me learn something about myself.

Omg, me too!!! :( :( Not meaning to change the subject, but I used to do duos with my best friend and girl friend when I was living and going to school in Ottawa and it was awesomeeee! We literally did duos more than singles lol. It was great because we were genuinely into it and every guy we did a duo with were literally shocked(in a good way!!!) and in awe about how interactive we were with each other and how much we actually enjoyed playing with each other. Again, sorry if I am getting off topic. When doing a duo it is best to get 2 girls that know each other very well, and that are close so that way they are very comfortable with each other. I have been in a few duos before with an agency or an acquaintance and there is nothing worse than the other girl not being into it and being awkward and the client can clearly see(that happened a few times, and the guy wanted to see only me because of it and that made for another awkward situation). There was a thread similar to this one, I think I shared this story already. But I'll share it again. I see this SP quite regularly. We loosely keep to time, which is to say that on some occasions we stop early, and some go on for a while. I try to keep the latter to a minimal, I try to keep an eye out for time, but I do lose track sometimes, especially when we are just laying down talking. Once she said she felt bad because supposedly we weren't having enough fun (Not sure what she meant, I have always enjoyed my time with her). I told her that I enjoyed every moment of it. She tried to return a portion of the donation, which I refused. Once I had a bag with me. At the end, I took a shower as I normally did at the end, and I left. After 10-15 minutes, she texted me saying that she refunded a part of the donation in my bag, because she knew I wouldn't accept it otherwise.

I'm black and race hasn't been an issue at least 99% of the time. I have met some great SPs and MAs on this site and the overall experience has been positive. I would also add that a number of people that I have met have been more genuine,kind and down to earth than my work colleagues. The only time that race was an issue was when I mentioned that I was black in advance after seeing a thread on Lyla and the woman didn't reply. I can only speak of my experiences (which have been good), but I can't speak on behalf of those who have had difficulties in the past(both clients and SPs). This is a sensitive topic for many and trying to find hard and fast rules that apply is difficult. My approach is not to contact anyone who has explicitly made their preferences clear; treat the woman with respect and according to any guidelines that she made beforehand; and, if you are turned down, stay confident that there are many ladies with outstanding reviews that would love to spend time with you.

I agree. I don't like negative talk. i truly love the guys on this board. They are a breath of fresh air - especially when compared to some of the other sites. Some feel it's ok to bitch here. I don't really get it. This site is meant to be a positive site, and it goes both ways. I understand when someone needs to bring up something obvious that needs to be mentioned, but reading thread after thread about negative stuff is a real turn off. The guys wouldn't be able to get away with it, so not sure why some statements are allowed here. Even if not mentioning names, if the guy reads it, he knows it's about him. I'd prefer those discussions be kept private "or don't say anything at all". A toast to the great guys of Lyla, for their contributions, support and adoration. Xo

Your situation is really unfortunate because you are a willing communicator which in my opinion helps certain guys make a decision. Personally I like to establish a bit of back and forth if I am interested in you because it makes for a better and more comfortable encounter. The chat room used to be a great place to meet and greet and feel things out. No ladies seem to go there anymore so now I have to PM or text. However I really feel like I am intruding and because its not a fluid conversation I begin to feel like a time waster if I send more than a few texts. Our youngest cat is getting HUGE. We've had pets go through fat phases before, but seriously, I had to pick her up to move her during a meeting last week, and I had to use both hands. She doesn't seem to eat more than anybody else, and she's always romping around, getting plenty of exercise. I'm wondering if a trip to the vet is in order.

Lube residue on my hands and struggling to open the package of a new brand I have started using. Then when I did, the hat inside got ripped too. Had to start over. Embarassing. Note to self: if using lube, open the package first before getting on hands.
