asking questions to find out if you are compatible is fine, but when they ask 'what's on the menu', 'what do you offer', puts me right off. Especially if they start the conversation with that. It doesn't take much to introduce yourself. As Victoria Phoenix states, it is how the conversation is initiated that is attractive. I do find it rude when I receive messages such as 1.)'how much', 2.)'what do I get for $xx', 3.)'available?'. 1. I don't know what you want or how long you would like entertainment. 2. my rates are available on my website (clearly visible in my ads everywhere), so why ask. 3. since you haven't specified which day, week, month or time, how in hell do I know? When someone asks for a menu, I ask them what are they specifically looking for, this way I can let them know if it is something I offer. I would much rather do that than try to text an entire plethora of activities. Some providers do state their activities in their websites, some of us do not. If you are looking for specifics, ask, chances are the answer could be yes, but if it isn't something offered, the answer will be a polite no. Having the courtesy ask in an introduction is welcomed, the one liners are not welcomed, specifically by me.

Technology is not inherently bad, but the question is can we evolve as a species fast enough to handle it. I wish more guys would respect cancellation or no show policies but they know there is no consequences other than no being rebooked ever. Even though text messages are a legal contract there is very few men who respect those terms. I will speak for myself, as not everyone feels the same way. I wrote a blog once about feeling like a McDonalds drive thru. "I'd like a ... And ... And ... And ..." Guys who book to just cancel, seems to be a game some like to play. What they feel they accomplish doing this is beyond me, however, I do keep a bad date list and know that guys that do this have the character flaw, not I:)

Guys who hem and haw over text deciding if they want to see you making up endless excuses because they are new and nervous. It's understandable with newbies and I'm great with first timers in person but only to a certain extent via text before you realize they are truly waffling yet want to have an entire conversation about it. When you don't answer back they try to guilt trip you saying they think they've scared you off. Sorry I don't have time to text back and forth all day waiting for someone to make a decision. The person either wants to come or they don't. I'm not one for hand holding unless you want to hold my hand in person. -) LOL. Another one.. I can find it humorous now but certainly not at the time. "Hello Nicki?" 2 minutes later..."??" 1 minute later..."Nicki? Are you there?" 2 minutes later.."Hello?" 1 minute later.."Helloooooo?" 30 seconds later...Nicki wanting to throw the phone in the toilet. I enjoy what I do but damn that's aggravating! lol. I get one of these at least once a week and that's being conservative. Hehe.

I am bothered by the text messaging as well. I don't respond to them and I don't respond to one line emails either - if I can delete your email just as fast as it took for you to write it out...
