Has it occurred to you that someone is lying about these sps who you claim to 'know' are TG, even tho they have not disclosed it, and in fact deny it? There was an sp a few years ago who was falsely accused of being TG, online, who successfully sued for damages to her reputation for the libelous comments. You might want to keep that in mind if you intend to pursue this angle, because i have no doubt that multiple people are clamouring by pm to find out who this (according to your 3rd party accusations) 'devious' sp really is ? For those who suggest it would be a good idea for someone who is fully transitioned to advertise as TG, have you read the news these days? Several US states are enacting laws to prevent trans people from entering bathrooms that are not desigated their gender of birth. That means, according to law, someone like Kaitlyn Jenner, as many of you have seen what she looks like, would be required by LAW to enter (dressed as she usually is) a mens room. How is that, or putting it in the ad, not an invitation for serious assault and/or death? Over 40 trans women who work as sps in the US have been murdered so far this year. But you want someone to put it in their ads even tho they are actually women via transition? It's one thing for a non transistioned transwoman to not disclose it, then client be surprised by the penis, i agree only to that point, that in itself is dangerous, and for their own safety they shouldn't do that as an sp. Additional Comments: And don't get me started on the guy who assumes that because someone was male, and had sex with other men, therefore they 'probably' have HIV because, you know, msm right there are the only people with AIDs and transmitting AIDs, therefore a transgendered woman who has sex with men as a woman, therefore must be transmitting AIDs, cuz, you know 'the gays all have it". but not hetero guys, nope, none of them got it, and none of them are spreading it around, deliberately nope.

I am a child of a very nasty divorce... and one who has actually never been married myself.. I have enjoyed a few very long term relationships, without the *need* to validate it in a church with a piece of paper (one was 15yrs, out of which came my children, and the last one, which helped strengthen the marvelously confident beast you know and love.. was 13 years) I have seen so many people make that *promise* in church and seems to me to be the same as many other 'promises' made in church... *sigh* makes no difference to me.. and my parents.. who got married due to my mother carrying me <grin> DEFINITELY should not have even called each other the day after I was conceived hehe both are far happier apart ;) consequently, mom remarried, got divorced.. remarried.. dad remarried, divorced.. and has been common-law with a wonderful woman now for 11 years... <shrug> There are many ways to set examples for children, without a government document.. all mine ended up very well-rounded, successful, kind, contributing members of society and are not swayed by the opinions of others, which I think is marvelous :) strong parents = strong kids ;) There are pros and cons to each, i suppose, and as far as 'legal standings'... whether papered relationship, or common-law.. if/when the separation happens.. there is no difference... and there shouldn't be a difference with the commitment/promise one makes to another anyway.. hehe I do have to say I find it a bit funny, this discussion on this type of board ;) (yep.. that's me.. always the devil's advocate hehe) I mean I get it.. but.. hehe just sayin .. if we *all* kept that promise most of us have apparently made hehe well.... there wouldn't be lyla :(

Jenny sighting!! Lunchtime today there were fine choices - Jenny, Claire, my all time favourite Kitty, Sya looking very hot (I couldn't resist stage diving to tip her - and she picked up hands-free :-)). Serenity sexy as always. Plus a couple of newcomers - Russian gymnast Harley, and bootylicious Candy. And a curvaceous brunette whose name I didn't catch.

10$ is the way to go. I've been visiting the clubs off and on for a long time now and there has absolutely been a big drop in business. If dances were 10$, the club would benefit from more customers, and indeed, the girls would benefit too. How often have you wanted to try a girl out in the CR but were saving your cash for a favorite? If the price was just a little less then I think customers would spread it around, and girls would have to hustle less for that one guy who makes their shift. The losers in this would be the few top girls at the top clubs who are churning through 20$ dances all shift long as it is. I think everyone else would benefit.

It's interesting on other review boards - they do allow asshattery - and then the guys wonder why the ladies don't want to see them. They try to by-pass our screening by not giving us their handle. One of the best screening tools in my opinion are the boards - I may not say something directly to the poster, but I do keep notes for myself.

Once in a while you come to realize that so many of our members really don't "get" the whole hobby experience, or rather, they understand that there are rules but believe they are somehow exempt. So let's help them. Let's give some handy tips to make this a more wonderful experience for all. This is a pleasant place so let's keep it constructive... and be aware that the rules shouldn't just be for clients, you can also add some helpful tips that may help a new provider too! Here goes: 1. Appointment time is at 2:00 pm, what time do I arrive? Ummmmm. Hmmmmm. What part of 2:00 pm is ambiguous? A 2 o'clock appointment means you are at her door at 2. Not 1:55, not 2:10. It's seems petty but when you screw up her schedule, you may be screwing up MY schedule. I may be the appointment at 3. I have things to do... and my schedule may not be as loosey goosey as yours. I may be using a very small window of time or I may have "commitments" that see me arriving like clockwork elsewhere. Regardless, when the little hand is at 2 and the big hand is at 12, be where you are supposed to be. 2. "I am awesomely wicked good in bed, and I often masturbate to pictures of myself nude, because I am that good looking. Can we negotiate a better rate?" In a word, No. Would you go to a restaurant and say, "I am a really good eater, can I get a better price on that steak?" Would you go to a lawyer and say, "I am an awesome criminal, can you represent me for free?" Would you go to the dentist and say, "My teeth are so bad that you should fix them all for $50!" A service provider gets paid at a set rate because she is a professional. She is good... no, not just good... wickedly awesome good, at what she does. Your part is the compensation, her part is the wicked awesome part. Pay the pretty lady and be happy. 3. Cleanliness is next to godliness. Ever step into an elevator and stand next to someone who smells like they have never met a bar of soap they liked? Ever met someone that looked like they were an extra in the Walking Dead? Have you ever gone into a bathroom after someone and wondered if they ate something dead? Step one. Go to the potty. Do your business. Wipe. Wipe again. Wipe again. and then, wipe again. Do the optical test. Last wipe. Is there any residue? If yes, start over. If no, then proceed to step two. Step Two. Shower. Clean EVERYWHERE. Rinse. Repeat. Did you pay attention to anywhere in particular??? Hmmm??? Go back to those places. Make em sparkle. (at this point I do suggest that artificial glitter is NOT necessary.) Get out of the shower. Towel dry (for pete's sake use a clean towel!)... apply a generous amount of deodorant/anti-perspirant. Brush your teeth. (if additional grooming is required, please do that too.) Step three. Clothing. Go to the place where you keep your clean clothes. No. Not the place where you put the stuff that you THINK you can wear again. The CLEAN clothes. You know that stuff that you just took from the dryer and folded nicely?? That's the stuff. Wear that shit. Uh oh... what if I have to do step one again?? Then repeat ALL the steps. Cuz skidmarks are not sexy. Febreeze showers are not acceptable. 4. I have to cancel, what do I do? Give your head a smack. With a hammer. Stop. Now take a pointy thing and stick it with great force into your upper thigh, avoiding the artery. Now, go to your car. Start it. Open the door, put your foot beneath a tire and have someone put that car in reverse. Cancellations? NOT COOL. We all know that shit happens. A death in the family. A sick kid. Decapitation with farm machinery. Thermonuclear war. Explosion of your planet from a death star ray. That shit is acceptable.... but you still owe the pretty lady an explanation AND a cancellation fee. When you cancel, providers don't eat. When providers don't eat they get distended bellies and look like kids from the CARE commercials. When you cancel, providers give not only you, but also your city, a bad reputation. This makes you masturbate more. Because you will never get laid again. Ever. You will over develop muscles in only one arm. Your clothes will fit poorly. People will figure it out and suspect you are the notorious masturbating king of cancellations. They will hunt you down and kill your family. Let's keep little Bobby and Joanie safe. If you make an appointment, keep that appointment. Your family will love you for it. 5. "I'm a little short on cash. Do you think she will notice if the envelope is a bit short?" In a word, yes. She will also point out that your penis is a bit short.... and that your skill level is a bit short... and that you cry like a bitch when you have your pathetic little man-gasm. Do you want that??? Do YOU WANT THAT, bitch??? Wow. That was a bit over-emphatic. Gonna step away from the computer and take a valium. BACK!!!! Where were we... yes. Shorting your provider. Not COOL. Remember, providers have special powers. They communicate telepathically. As soon as you walk out that door, she will know and so will all of her allies in the super friends. They will combine their superpowers and make sure that you never get wood again.... and if you do, it will be at inappropriate times... like at funerals or family gatherings or when talking to your grandfather or something like that. Seriously?? Give your head a shake. If you are short then GET the money and make sure you have it set aside BEFORE you book. You will have a wickedly awesome good time... just pay the pretty lady what you agreed to and enjoy! 6. Can I pay her in drugs? Hmmmm. Does your banker take drugs in lieu of money? Have you offered Rogers drugs in return for their cable/home phone/cell phone/internet bundle? When you get groceries at Loblaws, do they have a special drawer that says "financial equivalent in drugs?" You know the answer. "No, you addled-pated simpleton." Remember the distended belly part from above? Providers take cash because cash buys groceries, pays bills and looks pretty. Carrying cash will not get you arrested. Using cash is the engine that runs our capitalist society. "All you need is cash, cash is all you need." The Beatles sang that, I think. Your turn....

I have been having lower back pain issues for some time now, 3 weeks +. I decided to go to a massage therapist for my first time ever to see what could be resolved. After the session, I'm a little sore, and also much more relaxed physically and mentally; and excited about my next session next week. Thinking about the session and what I received from it I realized that part of me received some satisfaction from "touch" almost like "cuddling". I found this interesting article that talks about the power of touch: http://www.massagetherapy.com/articles/index.php/article_id/1123/The-Power-of-Touch Until I read this I always thought about "feeling" with my hands and never really thought about "feeling" with my skin. I wonder if a massage therapist receives the same satisfaction by providing "touch".

I agree with Midnite it's more about the people involved then the choice of marriage vs common law... there are people who will enter into either without any real commitment... people should just choose whatever works for them regardless if it's for the longterm or short.

$10 dances might not be a bad idea at all. I almost never go to clubs since I discovered the delights of MAs and SPs, but when I do go I have a budget. I'll spend pretty much the same whether it's $10 or $20 a song, and if that takes longer then I'm likely to spend a bit more on drinks, which is good for the club. The other thing is... they *really* need to crack down on the dancers who screw you over on the number of songs. I hate that, and unfortunately it seems that it happens more often than not.

I used to work for Mirage and as far as agencies go they are excellent. I've worked with some quality girls during my time there, and the main phone girl is simply a delight. All the girls tend to be of high standard- as I well know, Mirage's interview process is lengthly and they make sure the photoshoots are good. In fact, I still have some of my photos from those days. Nothing sketchy about the place and they have a gorgeous incall location downtown. If you don't want to go for a local Indy girl Mirage is a great next stop. Hope this helps, -Chloe.

We can argue until we are blue in the face about what one "should" or "shouldn't" do, but at the end of it all, it is really up to the individual as to what they actually do. Some people choose not to disclose for a number of reasons, including how they identify, and what they perceive the risks of non-disclosure to be. Others may have weighed the pros and cons and decided for themselves to disclose. If it is that important to you, then ask politely during the booking process. Also, on that note, please respect someone's choice as to whether they disclose this information, or how they go about it. Some may indicate it on their website or ad, and some may choose to disclose that information on a more personal level, such as by email or during a phone call. It always irks me to see threads asking about a provider, because if it's not publicly disclosed, there may be a reason for it (including safety), and generally these discussions use shitty, transphobic language.

This is an incredibly complicated question that depends on a lot of individual factors, as well as what we believe it means to be "physically a woman." If you're asking if it's possible for a trans woman to be consistently read as cis (identifying with the gender they were assigned at birth), even by people who are physically intimate with her, then the answer is yes, absolutely. This isn't true for all trans women, and not all trans women care about or want to be read as cis. Not all trans women are interested in bottom surgery. But it is definitely possible for some trans women. Hormones can have a very dramatic effect on the texture of skin, distribution of body fat, body smells etc. Vaginoplasty and labiaplasty surgical techniques can construct genitals that self-lubricate, are orgasmic, and that you could not tell by look or feel were surgically constructed (and keep in mind that there's a lot of variation in the way that vulvas and vaginas look and feel.) Things like genetics also play a huge role in how hormones influence the expression of typically male or female traits. There are plenty of people who naturally look very androgynous, have very little body and facial hair, fine bone structure, high voices etc. And for people who figure out that they're trans very young, puberty blockers can completely prevent the "wrong" secondary sex characteristics from developing. I think in discussions like these we also need to think very critically about our assumptions about what makes a person a man or a woman. Culturally and socially there are a whole lot of assumptions about these categories - assumptions about biology, never mind things like social roles and expectations - that are just plain inaccurate, and fail to account for normal human variation. Biologically, females produce eggs, males produce sperm. That's it - that's the criteria for an individual being biologically male or female. Things like hormones, secondary sex characteristics, genitals, and even chromosomes do not define our biological sex. While we can say that certain characteristics typically go together, we all fall on a bell curve, and those tail ends of the bell curve are still part of normal human variation. So a few examples: Androgen insensitivity syndrome can result in someone who is genetically XY to develop phenotypically female. They may be assigned female at birth, identify as a woman and never even know that they are XY. Poly cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is very common among women and one of the symptoms for many people is growth of facial and body hair that is coarser and darker than is typical for women. While most people will have either XX or XY sex chromosomes, some people are also only born with a single sex chromosome (X or Y) or three or more sex chromosomes (polysomies - for example XXY, XXX, XXXY, XXXXY etc). At birth babies are typically assigned a gender based on the appearance of their genitals, however, a small percentage of people will have ambiguous genitalia at birth. They may have their genitals surgically altered shortly after birth - usually to resemble a typical vulva (not best practice, and often considered a human rights violation), or may grow up with genitals that don't resemble a typical penis or vulva. They may or may not opt for surgical reconstruction as adults and the gender they were assigned at birth may or may not fit their actual gender identity. Beyond biology, we also should think about how the ways we are socialized influence our ideas of who is a man or woman, and what is feminine. Largely, western ideas of femininity and beauty are strongly constructed around white European phenotypes, cultures, and beliefs about class. It's not just trans women whose womanhood and femininity is constantly challenged, but also women of colour, most notably black women (see all of the awful comments about the Williams sisters' bodies as a prominent example.) These messages about what constitutes valid and real femininity are everywhere and deeply ingrained in our cultures. We are not at fault for internalizing them but I do believe it behooves us to look critically about how these ideas are influenced by things like racism and classism, how they are built on false beliefs about biology, and how these ideas harm and constrain us all. Trans women often bear the most severe consequences - discrimination and violence - of these narrow definitions of who is a man or woman, and what is acceptable femininity, but all women and men are impacted negatively by them. If you've ever felt insecure about your masculinity it's these very ideas at play, and you too would benefit from us collectively reexamining them.
  35. 1 point
It's quite obvious from your post that it's not about their safety or anyone else's but YOUR COMFORT, so I fixed your post for you. And before you get all riled up about the insinuation that you'd cause violence, well, no offense, but men who are "upset" by "scars where their dick used to be" are usually the ones who get violent. A transitioned trans woman, or a trans woman who has had top and bottom surgery is under no obligation to disclose to you. If you are so insecure about your own masculinity that you need to know if someone used to have a penis, you need to deal with that shit yourself.
  36. 1 point
A person's surgical and medical history is literally no one's business but their own. If you are not okay with the possibility that someone might have something in their history that makes you uncomfortable but has zero real impact on you, then you should both do some personal reflection on your internalized homophobia and find a different hobby. Trans women and sex workers, particularly trans women sex workers, are already at incredibly high risk of violence, criminalization and poverty. The idea that they owe anyone any explanations about their past and medical history is ridiculous, and increases the likelihood that some entitled person is going to be violent toward them or out them and damage their business. Trans women sex workers are extremely aware that there are people out there who would be angry if they found out that they weren't cis. The "trans panic" defence has been successfully used by men who murdered trans women, as recently as 2005, in the case of Shelby Tracy Tom (and possibly more recently.) When a trans sex worker decides to not disclose her status, she is making a strategic risk-reward evaluation and business decision. There are very specific expectations that most clients who see trans sex workers have, and that almost always includes having a penis that gets erect. Post bottom surgery, it makes pretty much no sense business-wise for a trans woman sex worker to advertise that she's trans. And for those of you who have outed trans women on this site - and I have seen it happen, stop it. Cut that shit out. You are placing the comfort of strangers on the internet over the real life safety and privacy of a vulnerable woman. That is not an okay or humane decision. Trans women are women. Full stop. No woman owes her clients information about her irrelevant medical background. dragon66_61: Have a little respect, and treat trans women like human beings instead of objects or animals. It is never appropriate to refer to someone as "it" and I can't imagine what would make you think that was okay. If you can't recognize the humanity of sex workers don't see them. Find another hobby and stick with jerking off. 500 Pound Gorilla - being trans has nothing to do with sexual orientation, nor does being a sex worker who has male clients. There's zero reason to assume that a trans woman was having sex with men prior to her transition/work.
  37. 1 point
Kind of the point of transitioning is that the person is now female. I can't see any legitimate interest a client has in knowing that was not true at one point. No, scratch that - I guess *maaaaybe* I could be persuaded that a client could reasonably want to know whether an SPs breasts were implants. I'm not sure I'd suggest *any* SP, cis-female or transitioned, actually has an obligation to reveal that, but I can at least see a reason a client would want to know. But used to be male? No more relevant that "used to live in BC", "used to be a conservative", "used to drive a convertible", or any other "used to".
  38. 1 point
If she has fully transitioned, and physically is a woman, I see no need to disclose at all. The customer is getting exactly what they expected. Time with the woman they booked with. If the individual has not fully transitioned, then yes, disclosure is required.
  39. 1 point
It is my belief that a transgender woman is a woman, and not a man playing dress up or pretend. Nor--and I think this is key to your question--do I think a transgender woman is being deceitful simply for presenting herself the way she is. I gather from your post the ladies you're speaking of have transitioned, and now have a body that matches their identity. I'm glad to live in a society where people can truly be themselves. And if these ladies happened to have some surgeries in the past, well then no, I don't think I as a client would have a right to that information any more than I expect any other lady I spend time with to disclose all of her medical history. I don't mean to be flippant or dismissive. I understand why you'd ask the question and why some might struggle with this topic. But when you say "many unsuspecting clients would be very upset if they found out that the person they thought was natural woman used to be man", my thought is that is their problem, not hers.

I know 2 RMTS.. one is a male and one is a female. The female told me that a guy once turned over and expected a happy ending. She left the room to talk to one of her co-workers to try and get this guy out of there. When she and another co-worker had returned to the room, there he was lying on the table masturbating. The male told me he had one woman lay rip off the sheets they use to cover clients and lay there naked propositioning him. What is stopping this woman when she leaves to go and tell the front desk that he sexually harassed her or inappropriately touched her? Absolutely nothing. He had to tell her that she was making him uncomfortable and that the sheet is used for a reason. This is utterly ridculous and disrespectful to these men and women who spend 2 or 3 years going to school for training and have to put up with that nonsense. Some people are idiotic and ignorant!
  41. 1 point
There are way way way too many posters in the Winnipeg section asking about this. It is disturbing that so many guys have such little respect for women's education and training. I worry about some guy shooting his mouth off with a questionable claim about "happy ending" from someone who doesn't give them. In the Winnipeg section, there is a thread which is easy to misinterpret. This misunderstand or maliciousness could put an innocent RMT in really big trouble.
