I feel like giving hugs today, so I give a hug to anyone who wants one. My son and his wife are coming to visit this weekend so I'll be giving lots of hugs to them and their new baby.

The way I do it, I never had to disclose my real name. I edited my profile with ElissaMarie as a name and my work's e-mail address. Once the e-mail is received I click on the link and everything there is only seen by me, and as I said in the e-mail notification received the real name of the sender was not included.

Gotta love the idiots that book you for 4:30 then as the time approaches and your having a late lunch with your friend at your place and she gets booking calls from the same guy wanting the same time! I also have a self-hosted WordPress site, with a premium theme that I customized. :) Originally I had a professional design a really great site for me, which is totally worth it and a good option for a lot of people, if you hire someone you know is reputable. But I quickly decided to learn how to do it myself, because I wanted the ability to tinker with it often, without having to get someone else do it all the time. I also tried a couple of the those third-party platform sites, but I felt too much like I was at the mercy of them. I also felt constrained because of their limited design options, and in the end they deleted my site because of "inappropriate content". I quickly gave up with the third party platforms and decided to do it all myself on my own terms, in a way where I would have full control. I love my self-hosted WordPress site, and I have learned a lot along the way with it.

A huge turn off is asking me what times I have available, and when I give them, the person gets cranky and states it's no good for them they want waaay later than I advertise.
