Also, everyone seems to be assuming that there are loads of SPs on Lyla everywhere in the country. I'm guessing a lot of those who think that are from Ottawa. Not a slam against Ottawa, but recognition that there ARE lots of Lyla girls in Ottawa. Check out the Newfoundland listings... That whole idea of "land of plenty" goes right out the window. I have met lots of good providers on BP. There's plenty of good reasons why perfectly good providers choose to post their ads there. An obvious reason being they've never heard of Lyla. Before the laws changed, you used to see lots of providers who would advertise on both. You definitely have to watch out for scams, but I've used BP many times and never been scammed. You just have to use your head most of the time.

Reports of Barb's death are premature. A regular is a person who visits regularly. These encounters, if you ask me, are always of high quality because you get to know each other a lot better and therefor know what makes each other tick. On the other hang, you can have an encounter of great quality, but if the person only booked the once, as fondly as u may remember the person, he or she would not be considered a regular. This doesn't take away from how highly I regard the person, it simply means I do not see them regularly. As for the question of how many visits, or frequency of visits or whether the visits have a time-pattern, well, that varies on the opinion of the individual SPs. As I said, in my experience regularity leads to quality. Theres quite a difference between seeing someone for the very first time vs knowing this person very well. Chemistry can exist in a first visit or a 100th, but in the first, we are exploring the basics, getting to know one another, where as when you know each other way, you can only go deeper into each other's psyches :-) I hope I answered your question and didn't just confuse you. LOL I of course am speaking only for myself but I don't see others referring to a one time date as a regular for the reason that they had a great time...given the definition of the word. What I would consider a regular is someone who comes to see me at least once or twice a month and is ongoing. I also have what I call semi regulars who visit once every couple of months. This seems to be a reasonable anticipation of the probable course of future events. Agree that it's a good idea to make the best of whatever time is left. Trying not to be too pessimistic, but a possible concern at this stage (at least in my mind) is that turnover at the businesses in the building (the others as well as Barb's) deteriorates to such a degree that the business owners become susceptible to a lease buyout offer from the "new" landlord i.e. Claridge. Not too familiar with the ins and outs of commercial leasing here so perhaps this is an unlikely outcome, but if Claridge wants to "clear the building" I wonder if it is a possibility.

Barbs is my favorite club in Ottawa. I like the club size, layout and serving staff. The owners could do more to improve the CR but I can't blame them considering the level of uncertainty about the clubs future. I think Barbs has one serious problem: customers want to go to a club with plenty of quality girls, and quality girls want to work at clubs with plenty of customers... right now Barbs does not have either. The owners of Barbs need to find a way to bring quality girls back and customers will follow or vice versa.
