With this being 2016 and with sixty plus years of experience behind me I really thought that we had progressed, that we had learned, that times have changed. I knew that we were not all the way there, or perhaps even knew that there was a long way yet to go, but never did I think that we have made such little progress. I refer of course to the present debate in the United States over the words and actions of Donald Trump as related to women. The fact that a man can brag about his past history of sexually assaulting women, who brags of being a voyeur behind the scenes of his beauty pageants, who verbally degrades women so obviously can be a candidate for the President of the United States blows me away. Totally. That however is not the worst of it. The fact that he still has thousands of people who attend his rallys, has millions that plan to vote for him, and that the majority of his party's political candidates still will support him is beyond scary. Women in the United States should be terrified of the tone that he is setting and of the message that he is very directly giving to boys and men. What he has said is not simple locker room talk or boys will be boys stuff. These were not just words but rather were descriptions of actions and to this point he has been correct in saying that, "If you are a star then you can do anything." Is it however just in the United States that this is dangerous? Canada has a pretty powerful neighbor just to the south and its actions and its beliefs influence us in this country, like it or not. As a man even from a foreign country to the United States I am embarrassed and angry about his words, his actions, and his normalizing of behavior that promotes violence against women. I am not like that and in my heart I don't believe that the majority of men are like that. The other question that arises, as this has in fact has brought the most blow back on Mr. Trump, is why did it take so long? Comments that are blatantly racist concerning blacks, Latinos and Islam, his comments about the disabled, his comments inviting foreign governments to hack his opponents, his willingness to jail a political opponent all received a general pass. That is for a different thread. Right now it is about women and our respect for them and this is personal to me. Apparently there are many who still in 2016 do not have that respect. Sad. I wish I had a vote in the U.S. If anyone did not hear the speech today from Michelle Obama on this topic, it was probably the best speech that I have ever heard.

It occurs to me that the day before Christmas this year will mark 30 years since I was on stage. A lot of bacon cheeseburgers have passed since then, and I'm not the same man I was. I've changed in just about every way that it is possible to change. Some for better, some worse. Those 4 years I spent working as a dancer, a masseur, and as a live performer were some of the most chaotic and memorable of my life. It wasn't necessary that I go into that life, but it worked for me at the time. I made good money, but the 80's were a different time in the industry. It was like the Wild West, but out East. And polite. Like a velvet glove in a mailed fist. When everything is going right, life is grand. When it isn't, get out of town quickly. That time allowed me to do a lot of thinking regarding what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I knew it was just a stepping stone to something else. Kind of like working at McDonald's. Some people can make it into a career, but most people just want to make some money. I just wanted to say that I'm not one bit sorry about the things that I've done to get where I am now. I never screwed anyone over who didn't fully deserve it. I was as honest as most situations would allow. In my mind, I've done mostly good and very little harm. Things have turned out pretty well for me since then, and I'm really enjoying remembering a lot of that time. Remember, you can't paint everything with the same brush. What works for one person may not for another, or even ANY other. Be who you are and judge only yourself. This is the path that I've set myself and I seem to be quite happy. I'll never dance for anyone again. Nobody wants that. I've asked. ;) My days as a live-performance artist are long gone. See above. I still keep my hand in doing massage. Mostly for friends. Try not seeing a high volume agency or provider. See someone you can talk to and be sure of getting your full time if you arrive on time. As mentioned above, real and reputable SPs post on BP indeed. Specially in smaller cities where they aren't many or local advertisement sites. It's also the go to site for the traveller or the newbie who doesn't necessarily know local sites and wants to meet girls "on the go". didn't say you 'said' et al... but some of your points are not founded as a 'medical' practitioner.. but as a massage therapist.. and perhaps should be put out as an opinion.. which of course, is always valid.. it's an *opinion* :) but.. as a medical practitioner.. clinic owner and therapist of a number of modalities.. and knowledgeable in ways that an RMT (retired or not hehe) *might* not be.. I had to interject on a few points :) and obviously hehe anyone should go on the advice given to them by either their own practitioner and/or their pharmacist (including informing them of herbal "all natural' things they may be taking) over anyone on the internet.... that should be a given.. but sadly, at times, it is not.. which was why the grapefruit comment made me a bit nervous... That video was painfully awkward to watch. I disagree with her and agree on some parts. Who cares if the guy comes faster or quickly? It doesn't matter.
