I don't think anyone's saying that.. But, generally, escorting is not and cannot make up for 'normal' dating or having an actual girlfriend. Sometimes clients see me and it's clear that they aren't looking for a companion, they're looking for a girlfriend- and this is not the place to be looking for a girlfriend. The expense is not an issue, but as a general rule I want a lady to feel completely safe and comfortable and bringing my own might not make her feel safe. That said, if I discussed it with her first, she wanted to try them, and I could bring an unopened package it might work.

I probably should also add that Ottawa does kick ass when it comes to strip clubs especially compared to Toronto and Mississauga. Those clubs are really expensive compared to Ottawa. Much better in Ottawa. To the orignal poster you may want to try going off the island to Laval. Les Deesses and Pink Paradise are nice and more laid back than downtown Montreal.

KiltBoy is one of the most thoughtful, sensitive people on this site, and I'm very grateful to him for his contributions. If I were gay I'd positively have a crush on him! His activities were never disruptive, and as far as I can see the dancers were quite grateful to him for solving a problem. And I can guarantee that he made good use of the CR, which is to the benefit of the dancers, and the club. If someone wants to complain about KiltBoy, I'm an ardent supporter of free speech, and I support their right. But I don't respect their judgement, OR their motives, and I'm happy to say that I stand completely in KiltBoy's corner (just not too close to him...I don't want him getting the wrong idea.) </rant>

While it's hard not to want to worry about her, it's likely your best option to sit and wait. Pressing for an answer may worry her about your intentions (not an insult to you or anything, just we SPs tend to always have our backs up) but the few messages you have sent, if she returns, will come across as kind and caring. You have done all you can, at this point, just wait :)

As mentioned by those who have already posted, there are so many reasons why you may not get a reply. From leaving the business to vacations, family emergencies and even new relationships. But another common reason is feelings. Not everyone is "out" when it comes to working in this industry. For some, it's a totally secret, hidden and separate part of their lives- I could see how feelings going in either direction could seriously complicate things, (in a life that might already be full of complications.) While I tell those I don't want contact with anymore why, some people just aren't good with confrontation.. and though I know you genuinely had the best of intentions, messages like "even if you don't want to see me, please reply" tend to make those who dislike confrontation even more uncomfortable. Just to be clear, I don't think there's anything wrong with caring about/for a companion, (I have clients I've become close friends with over the years.) I just feel that, in many instances, it has to be approached and handled different than with someone who you're not paying. You might get a reply in the future with apologies for the delay and making you worry, or you might never hear from her again.. Either way, the best thing to do is try to not worry or dwell on it. /hugs

I have had zillions of these connections over the decade with SP's and some have become non-client friends. But often they move to another city (not to get away from me but in the U.S. cities like my Phoenix are very hard to work in due to all the LE stings). Thanks Josh for the comment. This thread is meant to be about Ottawa strip bars rather than Montreal and the aim is to raise awareness for reasons of appreciation of our own bars and dancers in Ottawa and reward the bars who are still able to attract quality dancers (like Barbarellas, Barefax, NuDen, Pigale, Playmates) and also go out there and support our high quality, friendly beautiful dancers so that we can keep our dancers and even attract more and reverse the recent trend of bars closing and quality dancers quitting because of lack of business. That said, I have been to Chez Parée as recently as well (and between 1991 to 1999 as well when $6 table dances existed I was frequent visitor) and find it to be like club Downtown a few blocks away. That is one has to pay at entrance and when sited as well, and also rules pretty strict for private dances with no panties coming off in the Champagne rooms and no kissing allowed. The quantity of dancers is great however, in my view again no match for quality of dancers when compared to Barbarellas, Barefax and NuDen in Ottawa and same goes for quality of Champagne room dances in Ottawa. I also found ladies at Chez Parée more business oriented than Ottawa bars.

I'll jump in here. I've seen this girl 2x. Pics are accurate. She says that she works for xxxtase some of the time. Travels to ktown frequently. Yes I agree Cleopatra is one bar I always visit when I visit Montreal. This is the one strip bar I have visited the longest since 1992 (for 25 years). I would say Barbarellas, Barefax, Playmates all in Ottawa and Cleopatra in Montreal are my favorite bars, It is the best bar in Montreal and very cost effective but it is only one bar and even in this bar dancers keep their panties on in the Champagne rooms though kissing is allowed and yes it is only $10 per song. Evening dancers are better quality in terms of looks and youth and class but still no match for the ladies we have here in Ottawa at Barbarellas, Barefax, Pigale and NuDen. I would say Cleopatra is in many ways is similar to Playmates in Ottawa in terms of quality of ladies and bar class and location and dancers' friendliness but at half price and more ladies. So if you like Playmates then you love Cleopatra.

Agree with a lot of what H and K says. My two favorite clubs are Pigales in Gatineau and Cleopatra in Montreal. Yes, Cleo is pretty hit and miss, but I've had many great experiences there and at $10 a song it's a lot easier to just try someone out in the VIP on a whim.

I have travelled far and wide in the U.S. and Canada and always make an effort to check out tbe local "establishments". For those many reasons as outlined by Mr H &K, I have told many people ( who don't always believe me): Ottawa has the best strip clubs!

I have to agree with you Kilt Boy, that it is disrespectful of the clients and the dancers to be videotaping people in the champagne room. This can be used to blackmail people. I agree with what the other poster have mostly said but sometimes it does take more than one visit to establish chemistry. Sometimes you know right away but when I first started seeing MA's over a year ago it was very much a miss and not what I was looking for. Security cameras at Door and cash are expected and almost mandatory. That is a matter of safety for the club and the patrons. The champagne rooms are a different story.

Then a complaint can be filed with bylaws of the city of toronto, provided that this club is located in that city of course. otherwise you'd have to find the bylaws for the specific city or contact the city to see as to if it is legal or illegal in that setting in that location. they may limit security cameras to entry and exits for example.
