It was a fun afternoon. I am a daytime guy and really on a Saturday afternoon there aren't many options as far as strip clubs are concerned. Barbarellas is the best option on a Saturday afternoon. Barefax is dead, Pigale is closed and so is Playmates until 4 (and dead until 8 pm on Saturdays) and NuDen you need a binocular to see the stage not to mention the very open Champagne rooms at NuDen. In addition nothing short of a massive earthquake or a global nuclear war can keep me away from going to this club. Not road closures (btw, Lyon is now totally closed south of Queen to Albert) and not cameras (I counted about five in the backroom where Private dances take place) as I have been going to this club past 20 years and some girls are like family. Anyhow it was above average for a Saturday afternoon. They also had stage dances one after another (between 3 and 6 when I was there) and maybe this was a factor for the relatively large number of patrons deciding to stay on and order drinks instead of leaving soon. Also maybe because my all time favorite Kitty was there and so were her fans. But also a dozen other ladies and among them I recognized Harley (blonde cutie with love from Russia), Natasha, (sexy ebony with slim body and sexy nipples and bum) Blonde Juice, former blonde Brandi (with new hair color and style), Brunette Anna (soft fair skin coming at 4), a new blonde Portuguese girl named Vanessa (she is very friendly and doesn't mind hugs and kisses in the Champagne room), Jenna (pretty baby face and recently moved from Barefax) and last but by no means least the very cute lovable brunette Kitty Kat (Lily Collins) and a few others I didn't recognize. The following were not there and I missed them all. Bridgette (needs no introduction), Megan (now at NuDen and needs no introduction), Cin (Kitty's friend), Samantha (cute soft brunette), Very cute lovely very friendly brunette with spinner body Phoenix (I think she dances evenings only nowadays) and Layla (cute Lebanese) and last but by no means least I was hoping to see Sammy (the very friendly and compatible with hugs and kisses and very pretty long blonde/brown hair). Staff were especially friendly (to me at least!!!!) today. I had a fun afternoon. At one point I counted about two dozen patrons. Keep it up gentlemen. Please come out and support your local bar and support the ladies who btw are there to show you the gateway to heaven.

I have had clients I see every week for multiple hours during the years. They were/are my best clients and I will always bend my schedule to accommodate theirs. They are the President(s) of my VIP club. A lot of my time is spent catering to them. In these cases, there is no contract but a promise of them expressing that they want to meet every week and this isn't something they say and not do. They actually follow through. So you begin to take them seriously as you can trust their word. In this situation, they get more time with me instead of a rate reduction because they will be visiting every week. Without going into private details, I am more generous with my time as not all time is spent in the bedroom but the rate itself is NEVER lowered. With other gentleman who visit every week, there has been an agreed upon rate and some don't have qualms discusssing it. Other gentlemen I haven't discussed rates and it is nothing below that I was receiving the first time we met for a couple of hours.. I have been taken on trips for the weekend ( with a special weekend rate) with second row seats to a favorite performer, spa days, given very expensive gifts so I am very generous with my time. Many times I cook lunch or dinner for them, buy them gifts for their birthday.. I will do a healing meditation, long massage or listen to anything they would like to talk about or what is on their mind at any particular time. This could be viewed as a Mistress type relationship but not quite. I appreciate them and they appreciate me. There is a very hightrust level that has been established in terms of being a confidante to them..They are very kind and generous and I'm the same with them. I believe they have come into my life for a reason and I've appeared in their life to help them. When the chemistry and connection is great, these arrangements tend to just fall into place. This is a rarity but it can happen. I could not do this with all clients as the chemistry really has to be there. The chemistry is different when you spend an hour with someone as opposed to hours or days although they are both there. We become friends, text here and there throughout the week and tend have a lot in common. I could spend hours and hours with them and it always goes by way too fast. Some of them I have a friendship on a soul level and care for them deeply but they know the boundaries. I am there to help them with what they are missing with their existing partner or their life in general. Nothing happens outside the SP-client relationship and it works for both of us.

I doubt most guys have a "budget" but simply seek an escort when the mood is right and have some extra cash.

Good to hear about a fun and quite busy Saturday afternoon at 340. Even when one is not able to get in very regularly (or recently), it's always great to read reports about the ongoing situation at Barb's. As a clubgoer who was almost always stopping by Barb's in hopes of an ATF encounter, I've been thinking about this aspect of the SC experience in light of the "loss" of the ATF in question. It strikes me that not only does one miss an ATF for all the obvious reasons (i.e. those qualities leading to someone becoming a fave in the first place, if that isn't too circular), but also for the sense of familiarity that is built up after a number of years. Certainly, it's understandable that many clubgoers prefer variety and the sense of adventure and novelty that comes with meeting and trying CR encounters with new and/or different dancers. On the other hand, there's something nice (at least to my mind) in knowing what to expect (and what not to expect) with an ATF. Maybe I'm not adventurous enough, but I can't help but feel a certain very slight tension when going to the CR with someone unfamiliar. Even when one is by no means looking for 'high mileage', the uncertainty regarding how the experience will unfold tends to promote a certain nostalgia for the trusted ATF encounters. Guess it's important to remember that everyone is at least somewhat different and experiences of this nature are unlikely to be precisely replicated. Barb's continues to be the venue in which I'm most comfortable and with which I'm most familiar, so it may be that it's the place to begin to seek a more diversified experience - or find a new ATF.

Thanks for providing a wonderful insight on how an Sp sets her rate without bringing the topic into more sensitive areas. From my personal experience, it is very unlikely that an Sp quotes an offer after a session unless we choose to ask. Maybe it just me, but I find it quite unsexy to ask for a better rate say, if I can meet her once per week. Does it work if it is merely based on promise? There is no contract/MOU to sign? There must be a strong reason behind (like voodooking had said), Sps may not reduce the rate even if you frequent them. Usually, the only thing happens would be in terms of better and better chemistry developed between provider-client during the sessions. Having said that, I would not dwell into many types of possible YMMV one may get.

Just be aware that Paypal is an extremely sex worker-unfriendly business, and many people have had their accounts closed and their funds held just for being sex workers, even if they never use Paypal for their work. If you do use it, make sure you withdraw all your funds immediately, ever time, to reduce the risk of them being held indefinitely. Use an email address that's not associated with your work name, and make sure clients are very discreet about what the money is for. For Canada, Interac email money transfer seems to be the safest way to transfer a deposit.

I recently started to ask for deposits and a cancellation fee. I do not required a deposit for each meeting tho. I have been pleasantly surprised by the positive response I get.

Probably when a client asks, "When are you available?" I say, "Thursdays - Sundays" Client, "Ok so can I come Monday?" Like no!!! I said Thursdays - Sundays did I not?! Biggest pet peeve.

I would love for deposits to be an industry standard, but until we deal with criminalization and stigma, I don't see it happening. I do know some providers who require one, but they tend to be providers with well established businesses who are in demand enough to be very selective about taking on new clients. Obviously they're not in the majority. I do require a deposit for clients who want to book more than two hours or want me to coordinate multiple people or special equipment/supplies for a scene. I think this is reasonable and it seems that clients who are serious about making one of those sessions happen understand the need for a deposit. (Also for clients who have cancelled multiple times or no showed, if I'm willing to see them at all.) I really appreciate clients who are willing to put down a deposit and don't make an issue out of it. It demonstrates to me that they're serious about showing up, they respect my time, and they recognize that there's a lot of time and labour invested into a session before it even starts. And being relaxed rather than wondering if the client is going to bother to show up is a much better mental state to start a session in. Cancellation fees too. While it sucks to have to pay a cancellation fee if you have a legit reason for a short notice cancellation, doing so without complaining is gracious and respectful. For many providers, your fun money is our rent money, and recognizing this imbalance really shows a lot of consideration.

Hey Jessy, Glad you're coming our way! I joined the board here because you mentioned it on your website ... For travelling SP's there seems to be a mix of locations. Downtown seems very common, but there's quite a few SP's that also stay at the Airport or South on Macleod Trail. I don't recommend the MacLeod trail locations, they're a little 'skeevy' for lack of a better word, and one recently had some nasty bedbug issues and was cited for it. Avoid any hotels listed as being in the Banff Trail area, as it's a higher-crime area, and often locations used for some shady dealings. Most of the hobbyists I know avoid the location like the plague. I do look forward to seeing you!

I would say what I hate is the ongoing misconception about what an escort really is. Mathematics escapes the critics. It seems that nobody has figured out the truth: there are a lot more clients than there are escorts. We choose. Clients are favoured because of our genuine interest in them. I would hazard a guess - and I don`t think I`m wrong in this - that clients have formed long term relationships and even marriages with escorts. I just had a guy completely flip out because I told him I won't do bare bjs. Started berating me, telling me I was ugly, fat and that his friend said I smelled. How he bet my family would be proud of me when they find out what I do. All this because I said no to bare in a province that is issuing warnings about syphilis being on the rise. Really?!
