My intention was to spend this Friday afternoon at Playmates but my stay at Playmates was brief so at 3:00 pm I left to downtown and had to park close to King Edwards thanks to City's occupation of the parking lot next to Barefax. However it was all worth it as I really enjoyed my time both stage shows and private dances and the followings are the highlights. Enjoyed Cloe's stage dance. she has danced for me before. Unfortunately it was time for me to leave as she went upstairs right after her stage show which btw the audience loved and cheered loudly for private dances and I had to get home and already exhausted my wallet for the day. However I definitely have her in mind for my next visit. It was a party like environment with over two dozen patrons and another two dozen ladies, All ladies at Barefax deserve recommendations (in fact all ladies in all bars deserve recommendation), but I don't remember all the names as I was like in another world totally cut off with this world while in there at Barefax this afternoon. I talked to Brandy yesterday at Playmates. I asked her the exact same question. She said she now dances at Playmates and she likes dancing at Playmates a lot more than Barbarellas as the former is a lot more flexible (the word she used not sure what she meant maybe flexible in working hours?). This is very true. Maybe the Original post should have been more moderate without slamming the bar but a warning post is likely useful (his second post) for those frequenting this particular bar in case a similar scenario happens to someone else (like if the server took a $20 or $50 from you in this bar and said she has no change then the reader must claim his money back until she is back with the necessary change rather than giving the money and hoping the server would return). I simple request to speak to management could have easily solved your problem. One person's horrible actions should not impact evryone else's livelihood.

Let's make something clear. The server was argumentive. That is offside. She argued with me about the $ 20. She insisted that I had not given her any money, yet I had. It should not take 10 minutes to get change. If she doesn't have the change then say so to the customer, don't take the customer's money unless you have the change on hand OR will be prompt with giving change. It's not like I gave her a $ 100 bill, it was a $ 20. She waited 10 minutes hoping I would forget that I gave her the $ 20. At Barbs and Pigales and Barefax this NEVER happens, and those clubs are busy. I'm always given change right away.

Good to hear about a fun and quite busy Saturday afternoon at 340. Even when one is not able to get in very regularly (or recently), it's always great to read reports about the ongoing situation at Barb's. As a clubgoer who was almost always stopping by Barb's in hopes of an ATF encounter, I've been thinking about this aspect of the SC experience in light of the "loss" of the ATF in question. It strikes me that not only does one miss an ATF for all the obvious reasons (i.e. those qualities leading to someone becoming a fave in the first place, if that isn't too circular), but also for the sense of familiarity that is built up after a number of years. Certainly, it's understandable that many clubgoers prefer variety and the sense of adventure and novelty that comes with meeting and trying CR encounters with new and/or different dancers. On the other hand, there's something nice (at least to my mind) in knowing what to expect (and what not to expect) with an ATF. Maybe I'm not adventurous enough, but I can't help but feel a certain very slight tension when going to the CR with someone unfamiliar. Even when one is by no means looking for 'high mileage', the uncertainty regarding how the experience will unfold tends to promote a certain nostalgia for the trusted ATF encounters. Guess it's important to remember that everyone is at least somewhat different and experiences of this nature are unlikely to be precisely replicated. Barb's continues to be the venue in which I'm most comfortable and with which I'm most familiar, so it may be that it's the place to begin to seek a more diversified experience - or find a new ATF.
