Some incorrect or misleading information being given here... The laws have changed in that it is LEGAL to SELL our services, but ILLEGAL to PURCHASE our services. Remember, time and companionship only guys. Any explicit questions about what will or will not occur can get you in hot water. It USED to be a issue of in vs out. Now it is about specification of services. Also at issue is about proximity to schools, daycare, churches etc, however I have not seen any real evidence that LE are pursuing this. They are mainly going after exploited or under aged providers and handlers. Keep it safe and only purchase time with providers that are clearly of age. Keep the details out of the conversation if you want to be safe - whether at your place or hers. Xo

It really is all a subjective thing. I've been doing this now for a few years and have a rate point that is considered different. I have been judged a number of times on this for a number of different reasons entirely based on my rate. I've also had to stand up for myself when the conversation turned to lower rate = lower class or substandard service. As has been said, ladies charge the rate they want for a variety of personal reasons one of which is sometimes because they can. It's their business and their right. I DO believe that it shouldn't be a judgment point in the bigger scheme of research. If a lady is established, has recommendations, social media or website, interactions and favorable communications, why judge based on the most subjective of points. A rate should simply be "do I wish to pay that or not" and that takes in both high and lower points. Protect yourself and enjoy your pleasures. Don't over complicate.

Fascinating discussion. I agree that the price is dependent on looks, age, services provided and all with overlay of the personal preference of the SP. But I also want the ladies to know that I am happy to pay a premium for a clean location and ease of arranging the date. There have been/are a lady or two that I have paid $300+/hour and a large part of why is because they answered my text or email in a timely manner and had either a nice private residence or upscale hotel room.

I understand that people say this out of anger and frustration, But, (and it's a big one, lol..) There are plenty of working ladies all over this country who go above and beyond for clients. And taking risks are definitely not needed to keep the industry going, if anything they hurt more than they help as they are likely to end badly and totally turn good potential clients off of Service Providers altogether. You are free to take any risks you like obviously, but they're totally not needed- Promise! ;) With a little research and thought put in, seeing a SP can be a really rewarding experience.. It's sad that it has to be put that way, but at the moment it's our reality. And Taffer.. You are not an idiot. You were trying to be a decent person and some seriously shitty person took advantage of that.. I'm really sorry that happened to you. That sort of behaviour is not only unprofessional and disgusting, it's also an insult to professional ladies everywhere. I have known Sasha May for some time now, but have been negligent in sharing this little gem. Call me selfish, but spend some time with her, and you will understand why I have kinda kept her to myself in a way. She is a low volume provider, and "gives her all" during her appointments. Hey BH, most will tell you to do some research. Use Tineye or Google image search on pictures in ads (you can typically right click a picture and select image search). You can also try searching the number and see what results come up. But as you know nothing is certain. Happily, there's a number of wonderful ladies active here on Lyla or that have been mentioned in the recommendation section, so if you want to be especially safe there are certainly some people to reach out to. As you say you're new to the area, my own advise would be to start there. Read through the recommendations and advertisements section and I'm sure you'll find someone(s) you've chemistry with. I think you're misinterpreting her response. She appears to be stating that we are on the wrong side of things to fully understand how poorly service providers posting on backpage are treated, by many who respond to the ads. Just because we are gentlemen doesn't mean there aren't a lot of scumbags, and they appear to gravitate toward backpage ads. I agree that we may have a better perspective on the quality of providers posting on backpage, as well as the number of fakes. Hard to say though as escorts appear to have an inconspicuous network of communication, that we as clients are not privy to. All I can say is 80% of my backpage encounters have been positive, and only 5% have been somewhat dangerous. I won't pretend that they are all high class/experienced providers, but sometimes I'm just looking for the girl next door type anyways.

Actually one of the dancers at Pigale told me that last Friday. I asked her and she told me (her exact words) some of the dancers were ripping off customers so they have the manager sitting here and counting songs. Not sure how effective it is. For sure not in my case. For it to be effective the customer has to refuse to pay and complain to sitting manager and in my case (and I believe in most of patrons cases) I don't argue or complain. I just pay whatever dancer is asking and yes this happens to me in about 10% of dances. But I never take that dancer again. So short term gain for her but long term loss. I don't remember this happening to me at Pigale though!!!!!

Where the hits are can tell you something sometimes. If the hits are mostly in the southern States and all of sudden are in your area, that's likely a red flag. Me being in Ottawa, if the hits are mostly between Montreal and Winnipeg (maybe even Alberta cause some like to go there), that's not really a concern to me. If you really have the time, pop open those "caches" when doing research, if any dates overlap don't do it. Potentially fakes. I currently sometimes see an SP who, prior to just a few months ago, only used fake pics for confidentiality reasons but she is beautiful that when she opened the door punters would not want to leave even though they realized the pics were fake. Note, such is not always the case with SPs who use fake pics. I TOFTT more than half my visits and have met some who use a phone app in different cities to keep phone costs down(gives them local numbers). I have also met those who don't use such a phone app but change their name in different cities, that way when they get a text like, "Hi Lisa..." or "Hi Brandy..." they know which city that punter might be texting from(that's not where that SP currently is). If the name they receive on text doesn't match the current one they are using why reply for cost of it and the time saved. Obviously a well established escort wouldn't change her name because it is known. Also, not all SPs are well established but that doesn't make them any less worthy of a visit, IMO. If you TOFTT you need to do a fair amount of and thorough research. The safer your chances will be by doing so. In the end you're really just taking an extra 5 to 10 min max, worth it if you enjoy a TOFTT.

Accept that not all are going to work. Sorry, but in this business, yes do your research and find reliable ladies, but ultimately you have to take a chance too. She does on every first date. So I suggest that we abandon all these terms and realize that each provider is unique and focus on good direct communication with each unique provider.

Yes it is unfortunate and happens to me a lot more recently and in my case it is not just an attempt to gouge me for extra song(s) but they actually do it as I pay and don't argue. Most often they start at the end of the song and charge for full (at Barbarellas specifically). That said it is best to boycott the dancer who does that rather than the club as the club has no role or fault in all this (make the one who gains $20 or $40 in short term to lose hundreds in long term as I for one boycott that dancer no matter how pretty she maybe). Dancers also moving from club to club. The dancer for which you boycotted the club may be next day in a club you have not boycotted. Beside this is not club specific and happens everywhere so you may be left with nowhere to go. I also don't feel comfortable to share the names of those dancers who gouge in public or private just in case for the one in a thousand possibility that I maybe mistaken.

I've always said age is just a number and I've enjoyed all my years in existence so am proud of my age and don't lie about it. This industry is highly subjective and personal and in some ways "age is just a number" however in this case, it's a number you are judged on. Just as breast size, dress size and other standards are judged. Mind you, when it comes to that, what you see as a number and what you see in person can be very different so I tend to lean to "an honest picture is worth a thousand words". Each lady has in mind the type of person she wants to spend her time with whether it's older, younger, vanilla, kinky, new, seasoned, geeky or refined and each of those things has it's own set of standards for location, wardrobe, interactions etc. I can see why someone would lie about a number that's highly subjective yet will draw her specific interests to her. have you asked the manager or owner to look up the cameras of the club for you ? nuden will look up the camera, look at when she came see you , if you gave her a bill , and all the story it could have been easily resolved... no need to tarnish the club here with a warning post that they won t read, by telling them you re giving them a warning, when you're clearly NOT a simple phonecall, ask for the owner, tell the situation, he will come back to you with answers and IF the lady took your 20$, she will be gone you can be sure of that because they are honest people sorry to sound rude, but i defend my club . you state : " I could've persued it with management there but I thought if I posted the warning here for all to see and Nuden lost business because of it then Nuden management would wake up and have the problem addressed so I'm posting the warning here" that's rude, so you want us dancers to loose business too because of a simple situation that could be resolved with 2 minutes of your time? not impressed, i tought this was a positive board

I also believe guilt is a taught/learned behavior. Through generations we have been taught a long list of things we should feel guilty about and many of these things are judgements from others on how we should behave. I believe we have to honestly look at many of the things we feel guilty about and determine if it is programmed/learned or if it IS truly coming from within ourselves as a guiding point. So many people feel guilty when they "self care" yet this is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves. Life is not black or white. There are so many nuances and intricacies to it and every situation is unique to the people involved. if we approach our lives with love and respect and in doing what's best for ourselves and those involved, I feel there will be a lot less guilt and a lot more love and happiness. In regard to the aspects pertaining to this industry, there is SO much judgement and guilt flung about from so many sources. If it adds to your life, makes you happy, fulfills a need and isn't hurting anyone, why feel guilty? If someone is guilty because of someone else's opinion or judgement, the true issue is why does someone else's opinion have the ability to steal power and make them feel that way. If it's because of a relationship, where does the guilt stem from and is it because we should or shouldn't do this or that (learned behavior) or are we ignoring something we are not open and honest about looking at. Having the thought of a Universal Standard is a learned concept. It implies everyone has to fit into the box and everyone is the same when that's very far from the truth. Each and every person is unique and what bothers one, doesn't bother another. If both have the same experience and society judges that experience as negative or bad and something you should feel guilty about, if one feels guilt and the other doesn't, what does that say? It says that it's a taught/learned behavior. I think we unnecessarily suffer a LOT due to learned behaviors and limiting beliefs.. including guilt!
