Clients come to visit to get away and relax not to be bothered with someone else's money troubles. Imo I find that very unprofessional to ask a client for an advance or a loan. Why is this a client's problem? Sometimes people try to guilt other people into things when it's really not their place anyways. Clients are not atm machines at another's disposal. You may as well cut your losses and move on.

I never even tried to contact her, but if you do, "she" will tell you she had a bad experience, then direct you to a pay site to get her phone number (she has to talk to you first before seeing you - lol). I also had a similar experience a couple of years ago. A lady contacted me wanting to borrow money because she was behind in her rent and had recently broken up with her boyfriend. It's like any loan, I've lent money before to ladies in the business always with my belief that I could afford loose it knowing that not everyone is credit worthy. You indicated it was an advance so looks like her actions indicate she will not be honoring her part of the bargain. Fill it up with airtime and register it online. If you want to be extra careful, go buy a Visa gift card to pay for the airtime this way it can't be traced to your own credit card. I generally buy $25 worth of airtime and it is good for 120 days. There are other airtime options. I recall seeing other threads about burner phone, I am sure there are other ways to do this. I don't think it matters. Each lady does what she thinks is best for her. If the lady insists on a reference, I'm fine with that. If she doesn't see the value in doing that, I don't think it really indicates very much of anything about her. Some ladies believe in asking for references while others just don't have the time or see the value in it.
