Ok, so of course we do things from time to time that shows our kindness to others. Big or small it all counts! And tho, we often dont wish to boast or "post" about it.. They took the dog as a compassion case and thankfully dog was microchiped. Dog saved and family thankful! Such a small act made a huge difference to the dog and the young family!

It's a dark side of the industry no one like to discuss, but the reality is this business is hard. As a woman, you are raised in a society where you're taught that your value is equal to your beauty and sex appeal, and this business is a microcosm of our society. Dealing with ncns, fake booking, assholes on power trips that attempt to put you down, the never-ending texts of "rates?services? location?", people trying to push boundaries, comments on your looks,body and rates constantly, having to repeat yourself constantly, reading the endless material/threads bashing us, the physical and mental strains and the added stigma from society can wear you down after a while if your mind isn't strong as steel and you don't have a concrete self-image. You can get "caught up in the rapture" and really lose yourself. Being in the business for over a decade, I've seen it happen with many ladies over my time in this life. You really have to KNOW YOURSELF to cut it. Like any other high-stress job, like policing, firefighting, social work etc, there is a high burn-out rate and we don't exactly get paid mental health days or treatment (counseling) like other professions that are as equally intimate and high risk. Some simply cannot handle the pressure and crack. It's unfortunate but it's a reality.... Be kind to your provider. You never know what she's going through...

I don't think it's SO's ( same regular partner) that puts sp's at risk, just as in the civilian population. Stds don't just appear, they have to be introduced by sexual contact by someone who is infected. Unless the sp's partner is out having unprotected oral or fs, (and please believe our SO's are just as particular and educated about their sexual health as we are, they are in relationships with sp's after all) the risk is virtually non-existent. I guess I am old school, but I treat texts and e-mails as I would treat a letter with a polite introduction, explaining who I am and what my request is and a polite ending.
