As a provider in a small town, I see the ads you are referring to. BP and craigslist are the main advertisers used here. Most hobbyists are not aware of the review boards. A lot of providers as well don't know. So it can be a crap shoot when a new ad pops up. Looks great, nothing showing up to dispute she's a fake so let's go and check her out right? However, I know guys who have been robbed, asaulted and blackmailed. All in the hope this "unknown" is the real deal. There is a very strong gang operating and trafficking underage and coerced women in the maritimes. Putting a newspaper in the selfie will not address this. If you are comfortable taking your chances, by all means, keep doing it your way. However, just fully understand the risks you are taking. Good luck.

Well... I went and got an answer to my own question, from one of our beautiful ladies here in Halifax Apparently new function of BP is that you must link your social media account in order to post an ad!!! So a lot of these link will likely be to incomplete profiles. Thought I would share.

Discretion is always key, although it is possible to film without showing your face. The provider I linked to above (Cristina4u) seems to have a good system in place if I understand the ad correctly. You can do the filming (choosing to not show your face if you don't want to) but it is her camera, so she has control of what she posts and what she wants out there. You both have a degree of control in this. (At least this is how I read it.) I agree though that you should be cautious about what you film. If you have distinctive tattoos or birthmarks in particular, you may want to rethink it.

This time of year there's a lot of temporary new providers in the business just to make ends meet during Christmas. There's also a great deal of well reviewed providers who've been in the business a while. If you're new to the hobby, why risk it. Go with established providers for a bit until you've got your confidence.

Don't want to sound like an alarmist, but I could easily post more than a hundred reasons on why this is a bad idea. If you choose to go through with this, better do it with someone you know well and be 100% sure on how it will be filmed, edited and saved. Better live with a distorted memory than live with the consequences of those kind of souvenirs going public. It may not bother you now, but in ten or twenty years your personal and professional life could be deeply impacted by it. Take care.

I have mostly been hanging out at the Brass Club lately, because of its discrete downtown location, the comfortable vibe and facilities, warm welcome and friendly service, nice cafe-bar with great sandwiches, and of course the extraordinary ladies, starting with the manager/owner Jessica, to the reception/bar persons (Angel, Bonnie, Sasha &?) and finally the amazing cast of over 50 beautiful and smart MAs. So my very subjective favourites in the best bums MA category is limited to BC, knowing full well that their are many extraordinary MA's with amazing bums and many other attributes working at other reputable salons and clubs such as CMJ, Angels/Paradise and Vibe among others; as well as highly reviewed indies such as Breathtaking Viviane, Exclusively Mia, Jackie Gilcrest, and others too numerous to list. Brass Club: I have experienced massages with just a handful of the numerous beautiful MA's who work at Brass, but I also witnessed or talked to several others at the bar recently and reviewed the excellent photos from the BC website of each of each MA from its current roster. I would hazard to guess that all MAs at Brass have nice bums, but in many cases I have either not seen the woman in person or I have not been able to assess this feature because photos on the BC do not always include a rear view. Finally, my personal selection tends towards the more petite version of the derrière species, which are all firm, round and small enough to fit into the palm of my hand. I mean no disrespect to the other MAs who I have not mentioned and a nice bum is far from my first criteria in choosing a MA. All of the BC's MAs mentioned below have cheeks that also consistently defy Newton's laws of gravity! I am sure, if Newton were to come back to life today and be given the opportunity to meet any one of these extraordinary women at BC, he would not be displeased at all that they have proven his law wrong. If you're new to the hobby, my strong suggestion would be to avoid Backpage and check out some of the established regulars, especially the ones here on Cerb. If you do try someone new, there's a free site called Tiny Eye which does a reverse search on images (or, use google image search at the very least). If they give a cell phone number, google it to see if comes up as a scam. If multiple ladies are using the same phone number, that's a big warning flag usually. An excellent rule of thumb = if it seems to good to be true, there's a decent chance it probably isn't true. Don't take any one person's review, good or bad, as being gospel. Also remember Cerb rules only allow people to post good reviews, ie recommendations. I can share some of your concerns, as I just recently moved to Halifax and had to leave some of my favourite ladies back west. To me, Halifax had (has) a reputation for underage trafficking, so I was hyper-cautious. While I enjoy a young 20 year old as much as the next red-blooded male, I have zero desire for a 16 year old and "child molester" would probably look bad on my resume at work. That's my biggest caution with Backpage. Luckily for you, Halifax has lots of established ladies. In absolutely no particular order, here's several that have multiple excellent reviews... Exotic Touch Danielle, MsManda, Addictive Barbie, Kylie Jane, Cristycurves, Savannah Sol, Dirty Blonde Maria, Bad Ass Bella, Littleprincessemma... any of those would likely be an amazing time. Read their reviews, look at their albums, see if it matches what you are looking for. If Asians are your thing, the agency VIPOTG is usually the way to go, but they can be a challenge for new clients to deal with. Three last pieces of advice, young grasshopper... (1) even if the lady offers it for an extra price, never ever ever do BB FS. (2) Remember that you are only donating towards time and companionship, period. If you want to avoid legal problems, do not go in to "I'll pay you $X if you do Y" on the phone or in emails. (3) Treat the ladies like gems. Be nice to them, they'll be nice to you.
