No, I am saying without any USA info the site is not breaking any laws in the USA so the CIA/FBI/ETC will not be interested in this website at all. The CANADIAN law enforcement if they have any issue with it could ASK the USA to step in and shut it down but can you really see that happening? I cant .... especially since our rules clearly state here that we do not allow anyone to advertise sexual services and as long as we remove any offending ads or illegal discussions as they are flagged no one should have any issue with it. We take a proactive measure to ensure (1) no one underage sneaks on the site, our members are really good with us and letting us know if they suspect anything like that going on and (2) we do not allow unreputable agencies (like most of the asian B&S ones) to advertise here. We have an area for the ladies to help PROTECT them so this site does a lot of good for the industry as well and I am sure they know that if it was lost it would not stop anyone from working in the business it would just push them to other websites or possibly the streets and the smart canadian law enforcement knows this very well. If we had ads for US ladies or info for the US market then the US would take notice. I did bring your info to the attention of the current site owners and they are already working on alternative domain names so they are fully aware of the potential hijack possibilities with the .com and other domain names.

I personally would like to see lyla remain and grow as Canada's site. Lyla is uniquely designed to weed out the untrustworthy and potentiality illegal providers. As for the point KarmaKiss mentioned that some providers have been banned, well this is true and valid. And for these women and men, they will be in a situation of loosing the safety of community. Without being able to have ANY avenue to advertise safely.....well they may find themselves " walking the avenue" (pardon my dry humor) and for that reason, we need alternate sites as back ups. Hi again everyone your probably getting tired of seeing my name everywhere lol. I thought a post for this was necessary especially at this crucial time for SP's and MA's about reviewing the ladies you have had fun with here on Lyla and to support them! I have noticed that a lot of the gentlemen here that use Lyla don't post many reviews of the ladies they have seen here from Lyla. Some of the profiles I have viewed from gentlemen don't have many posts for reviews even though they use Lyla to check out ladies here as well as book sessions with them. Of course there are a lot of gentlemen that do contribute and thanks to those that do but a lot of longterm members don't and I think it's important for the reputable women to have as much of your support as possible and Lyla would be used by more ladies if this was done more often. I think we're really on the same page. I do mourn the loss of the days of 'cerb.ca' in the pre-bill C-36 era. I don't believe there are any 'floodgates' to open this site is simply trying to keep its' proverbial nose clean to help discourage interest in it from LE. Maybe with the situation created by the FOSTA/SESTA stuff there is currently an opportunity for lyla to grow and have broader interest across Canada. I agree that loosening things up a little might help but I just think it would be a big challenge. There is nothing currently preventing anyone from becoming a member of lyla (aside from previous serious infractions x3). Being a contributing member and remaining a member is virtually entirely dictated by our own posts, statements and on-line actions. The distinction between 'harsh', 'classless', 'the not so good' and 'the ugly' is a quagmire that this free site likely can't effectively moderate. There are other sites like terb, merb, ter etc. if you need to make a 'well informed decision'. I'm not a member on those boards but I seriously doubt they would assist any decision of mine. I'm not prepared to wade through a mile of shit to admire a rose. Any censorship we need to worry about is coming from the good ol' US of A.

I think that it depends a lot upon who your clients are (and who you want them to be), how they get there, and what else there is. I must hobby during business hours, so I am slightly limited where I want to go and how I can get there. As I don't drive to work, if I have to travel somewhere that can only be reached be car, then I have to book a vrtucar --- Uber has made this situation somewhat better. Neighbourhoods with "stigma" attached often also have poor transit options: there are lots of urban studies that explain that. It matters if there is a risk my transport could get damaged. There is also the situation of why one was in the neighbourhood at all... so it's definitely nice if there is a lot of other reasons to be in that area. [consider even a fender bender in a parking lot]. However, I frankly care more about the building, about the number of people coming and going: if I'm the only person all day, if I'm significantly differently dressed than others, or if my age is significantly different. I assume the lobby is under surveillance, but that nobody would bother looking unless there was a reason, so I'd prefer to look like I belong. One MP I saw recently is in a building which I think is otherwise aimed at seniors, and I'm not that age.

I'm in the states right now, and I used Chrome to get to leolist.cc and I hit a wall. Message says I cannot access it from the country I'm in. terb.cc works and obviously, lyla.com also works. However, I was able to get through by using the TOR browser. Looks as if they're censoring some foreign sites, whether or not the content concerns the US Industry. Personally I think it's just a matter of time before they build a wall barring any foreign site that apparently infringes the FOSTA/SESTA laws. I agree even though it may not be true per say....assumptions can be made about ladies when there are gaps....its like having gaps in your resume for instance....what employer is going to hire you with major gaps without questioning why and maybe being reluctant because of those gaps. Flow is good and we need more flow....the more information shared the better! Don't be afraid to speak up and share just because the next person may have a different experience. Everyone is unique some hit it off and some don't. Nothing will ever change that and the ladies here need reco's to keep up their reputations. Lyla.com does not have ANY Info about escorts or massage in the USA and last time I checked Canada was not the USA so I doubt lyla is on the radar for the fbi/cia/etc. Before the site was sold it was cerb.ca (Canadian Controlled domain name) that is the big reason it was switched back to lyla.com before the entire network was sold. The other reason is a NON canadian citizen can not own a .ca domain name and since it was sold to a foreign company the .ca would not work. The domain name is still registered and redirecting but it's only a matter of time before the cerb.ca domain stops working.
