Quite a lot of providers don't seem to know about Lyla. We also make an effort to get rid of the fakes and the scammers, which is a deterrent for some of the people posting ads on the successors to BP. Having said that, there do seem to be quite a few new arrivals since BP shut down... hopefully they'll stay! Another factor is that Lyla is fairly Ottawa-centric, with a good bit of East Coast activity... but other cities and regions are more strongly represented on other boards and so providers may choose to advertise there. I haven't read through all the responses yet, I will when I finish this though. Like I said in another post I don't trust anyone who wants to use the backpage name in another advertising website. Just because a form has a place for employment doesn't mean that is the main type of screening she is looking for. I offer employment screening but my preferred method is an active online social media/board account and 1 SP reference. No text apps and last name is optional. So don't go based on the form, read first to know exactly what she requires. I give options because not everyone has an SP reference or an online account. Doesn't mean I like to screen that heavily.
