I see there are some posts speculating about exact locations. Just a reminder to everyone... this is an industry that relies on discretion and outing the exact location of anything is a bad idea. Providers and businesses can and will advertise their own location if they choose to do so. The rest of us should learn to be a little more discreet. Same goes for phone numbers, for that matter. Even when details are openly advertised it's better to link to an ad or website rather than posting details directly - that way the provider/business maintains more control over what's out there and if things change there's less out of date information flying around.

I have been away from CERB for several months and was surprised to see the change. I have no issues with the new look. The same cool people seem to be here plus some new and positive people. For me its the people and the stimulating and creative discussion that CERB is about not the look. As long as that keeps up its all good.

Features that are used frequently should not be buried in multiple layers. For example, if I want to see the list of people I'm following I have to go to the drop down menu, select "Managed Followed Content" (which sounds more like an edit function), and then look down a side bar to find members. This is fine for less used functions, but something like this I would suggest should be available as either a button on your home page, or if you are trying to keep the page looking clean and uncluttered, then make more popular activities accessible directly from the drop down menu.

How about "Night Mode". So it is not so bright.

It's there. You just have to scroll to where activity is and click the "v" down icon on the side. Opens clubs, albums, etc i am going to suggest some tutorial pages and instructions since many are not use to Invision software over VBulletin. Which is what most boards seems to use.

We're currently testing this out at the moment with the Mods and Independent Providers having access to it. So we're waiting to see if it works the way we believe it should before we push this to everyone on the site.

Hey Meghan, While in a persons profile on mobile, if you click the Activity drop down it lets you switch to Albums - is this what you mean?

It used to be that when you went to a thread, there was a very prominent button which said "go to first unread comment", or something like that. That seems like so obviously a beneficial feature that I am convinced I simply cannot find its current equivalent - but I cannot find its current equivalent! So I'd suggest either restoring that or making it more obvious.

If possible, it would still be nice to have a private notes page. No requirement to transfer old notes, that ship has sailed, but a place to keep future notes would be handy.

I’d like to see the old ‘friends’ list and visitor profile messages restored in their original format. However, if that isn’t possible I completely understand. I also miss some of the old symbols that were present on the old site such as the crown, smilies etc.. I just thought of this as a way to make the new version seem a bit more familiar, that’s all...

The mobile version doesn't seem to have a link to providers gallery. What we post on our wall is, but the gallery seems to not be there. It works on a laptop, just the mobile version doesn't seem to work. Thanks for everything you've done btw.

Fredericton is quite the spot. Beautiful water front, stunning elm trees and the crown jewel of this city is Jaimie. I can’t say anything that hasn’t already been said. That's a good point, but we didn't switch this site over until July 20th, that means there was months before the change - so the change over has nothing to do with the Toronto section being dead - our hope is the change will revitalize the whole site - not just a section 🙂

I've never completely understood the old "pictures aren't accurate" thing, tbh. I get that most guys are visual creatures by nature but even photos that aren't touched up or anything rarely are exact. Cameras have come a long way and selfies are all the rage and so on but depending on lighting and angles and all kinds of other factors, the real life in front of someone and the photo can have anywhere from subtle differences to things that are very different. I just don't see it as a deal breaker but again, I understand that some guys can be extremely specific in what they want or envision in an encounter. Having said that, perhaps he could have been more tactful and perhaps your reaction to his offer could have been less emotional but what's done is done. It's water under the bridge now. You probably should have accepted the offer and been compensated for your travel time but too late now. This will be great. I normally go to the east location due to convenience. With a downtown location opening up with a liquor license, I will certainly be heading there. The problem with the review boards is that the people on them are... people. And people are often assholes. This is especially true when they can hide behind pseudonyms, and believe that their horrible behaviour can't or won't have consequences on their lives. This isn't by any means unique to review boards. Look at the nastier ends of Twitter, or Reddit, where things can get just as bad. If that doesn't convince you, hang out on 4chan for a bit.
